I have had nothing but problems lately. It's like they got to big to handle there work. I ordered an item clearly stated delivery expectations and was not delivered right on multiple occasions then I get Covid and can not get product I am in dire need of so I go to Amazon and pay for same day delivery just to not revive it that day and be told it will be 2 days before it will be here and they appreciate my understanding. Wtf. I am beyond sick and can not get what I need because Amazon can handle there orders that I payed extra to get on time. I can not even express my disappointment.
Todays issues included Moldy tomatoes that leaked moldy goo all over the other vegetables in the bag and a giant oven cooked pizza when I order microwavable single serving size. At least the bread was not squished today as it normally is.
I love amazon. Their ease of shopping and checkout process is excellent. No problem with the shipping also, and responsive customer service
There use to be an option to consolidate your order items into one package, before it shipped, however this is no longer available. The shipment fees increase when you receive individual items rather than one package.
The packaging is also unsuitable at times when they use a box where an envelope would suffice.
I think it's all a way to ensure shipping companies make money on indvidual items.
This is my favorite streaming platform so far. I have been subscribed to netflix for a long time, but it only featured the films and shows that I already watched before, but most of the contents on Prime is original and fun to watch. The UI is also great I think. But they need to improve some Interfaces like the dashboard should show more contents.
I would switch their name to GOODZON not AMAZON because I don't think their so amazing, It all depends who is the seller of the item your buying, Some sellers are simply AMAZING but others are even worse than GOOD.
4/26/2025 My return is not processes after a month. Customer service person confirmed that they received the item and promised to give me back my money but never did it. I contacted them 4 times and went through about 10 customer support. Each of them need to ask same questions. I wish there is a layer who can help people. What a world. A lot people can only live with it when ordinary people do not have the power. The only thing I can do is that I will try not buy things from Amazon any more. Previous review - I am not saying Amazon is perfect but if I can, I would like to buy everything from Amazon! It is easy to find almost everything I need, get fast, almost no question ask return process. There is no senseless return checking, argument, long return money back time. Best thing is that I can check all the reviews before I buy anything. There was bad times but overall, I love Amazon. There is no other store has the same customer service. 04/2025
Two problems I had with Amazon recently. I am writing this down so other people will not have the same problems. 1. There was a $20 off if you spent $80 promotion. I did not get the $20 so I contacted customer support. They told me that I needed to put a code for it. I personally did not see any code when I was buying the items. I saw the confirmation that I had reached $80 with the right items. By now, I have not received the $20 yet. 2. I sent multiple items to local Kohls for return. I did not receive the receipt with the list of multiple items as previously. There was only 1 tracking on the receipt. I trusted Amazon enough so I did not do anything on the day. After 2 weeks, I still did not get refund for my item. The problem for me is that I did not have proof for the item I returned. So I contacted customer support twice, both time, the rep told me that they would refund my money. I did not receive anything on my credit card. I contacted them the third time, they admit they received the item and told me I would get a refund. After the previous two times, I cannot trust them any more but what I could do, I would have to wait. I am glad that I did not buy large stuff from Amazon. I will be extra careful from now on especially for more expensive items. Amazon does not have hustle free experience for me any more. Good thing is that I will be buy less stuff.
Amazon has become nothing more than an online Flea Market. Yes, you too can sale ur old socks on Amazon. The buyer wont even know unless they dig in, and when the buyer never gets what they ordered! Well the beauty of that is Amazon has done away with there customer service dept, cuz well lets be honest... If all ur doin is letting anyone sell anything on ur website and often ripping them off ur not gonna want a customer service, cuz all that dept is gonna do is listen to unhappy ppl all day and Amazon cant do anything about u getting ripped off... Cuz they arent the ones selling it! They are just an online flea market!
Well after trying a cupple times last order was the finally I order pasta to make pasta salad well I opened and see animals inside probably 1, ooo not kidding was nasty I am done whit Amazon fresh.
I had to change my credit cards after Amazon took my refund for an item purchased with my visa and put in on a gift-card I never had attached to my account. They will make the gift-card default without your knowing. I used it one time after my refund to buy a book before I noticed the gift-card was my default payment & not the visa I had not been using for Amazon purchases. Long story short I could not get my OWN money back to the card the item was purchased from. I'm in DC and the CSR were monitoring my reviews and not posting them because I wanted to warn users about this switch. I do not trust a company who does not return money to the card a purchase was made from. A-lot of stealing and they think they can block your reviews so the company who see what they are doing. I cancelled Prime (whom you can only get on time & correct from certain areas) I changed my credit cards for FEAR of FRAUD and will not use Amazon again. I'll stick to Walmart who gives you your money back or item when you tell them what has happened.
This happened to me twice, hence writing review. They had to deliver me oneplus 9 phone on friday, which they didnt, and they told they will do it on saturday, which till evening they didnt. When i called them they are telling they will deliver it on sunday. I had to gift to a relative for birthday occasion. And amazon had to ruin it. Now i have cancelled and when to near by store to buy same. I have made up my mind not to trust amazon delivery for anything critical. Everything about this service is purposely deceptive. Even when the items selected are listed as "Free Shipping with order of $25 or more" Freight is added at checkout. In order to receive the promised "Free Shipping" one must deselect the defaulted expedited shipping, or the shipping fee is charged. If an item which is listed as "Free shipping with order of $25 or more" is place in a "watch list", when the item is selected for purchase (within an hour of being put in the watch list), the free shipping offer is retracted and shipping is added to the item. I have found that nothing offered by this merchant is a bargain and combined with the deceptive parctices mentioned, they will see very little of my $ in the future.
I have contacted amazon about a refund, I did not receive the refund, just keep getting referred to an email that I did receive it. I did not. I called my bank, I have talked to several amazon reps. Got referred to send an email. I have not received my money and have not had help. Just the run around.
I like it very much. Ordered the goods several times, a large variety of necessary goods, reasonable prices. They work quickly and smoothly. Unlike other companies, I liked ordering here the most.
I'm getting more and more disappointed with Amazon BECAUSE probably a third of the orders we receive are returns. They are either broken, or used. I am tired of having to receive used or broken products only to put them back in circulation by returning them, for somebody else to buy. Amazon is becoming over rated.
I feel they hire anyone nowadays to deliver products. Three times I've had them destroy my yard and drive off like a bat out of hell. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Most of the time I get things on here it's made in China & it's too small but wish is like that way worse. It just depends on what you buy.
I have been a very loyal Amazon Prime member and used their site for over a decade. I have business and personal accounts with them. That changed in May of 2022.
I ordered a new Olympus OM-1 camera which cost over $ 2,200.00. This was a Prime order. Instead of the camera I received a cheap kids bag. This was immediately returned but Amazon has not refunded my money over 2 weeks later. My return details, which I followed very closely were also deleted from my Amazon account. American Express is now documenting this as fraud and suspended the charge. Thank God for Amex. They have been my only hope in this nightmare.
I have been on the phone with Amazon dozens of times and they have been apathetic at times and not much help. They seem to have very little concern that a fraudulent seller abused their platform and customers.
The seller on Amazon has a 100% negative feedback rating and did this to many customers. By my estimation they stole more than 50k from amazon customers in less than a week. Amazon knows exactly what is going and has been slow to back the customer.
I attached proof of purchase and a picture of the sellers reviews on Amazon. You can see some of the people that had my same experience. I know Amazon is so convenient but they do have sellers that are not legitimate on their site. Do business with them at your own risk and be very careful about buying anything expensive there. Buy directly from a reputable seller (you don't need amazon for this and run the risk of losing your hard earned $). This has been a difficult lesson for me.
I also attached pictures of the UPS shipment showing the box was not even large enough or heavy enough to house the camera. The box it normally ships in is larger and heavier than what I was sent.
Update 5/25. After moving up the ladder with Amazon and getting Amex involved I was issued a credit. I updated my star rating to reflect that the credit was issued.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
