I have been a loyal member since the start of the company and have spent on average 30 thousand a year. Just the past year they have fallen hard and now again today. Several deliveries this week have been paid for and more money for speedy delivery, well not only doesn't it show up but we get the dreaded email saying its lost or not sure when it will be here. This day is the same as the NEW normal procedure for AMAZON. The over priced batteries for my center console boat were ordered and paid for overnight (more money) then after most the day waiting. Here it is. The email comes in and it will be a few more days? What.! I paid for overnight and expect it to be that. Now they say after waiting 2 more days if I don't receive them to ask for a refund! That is hold my money for ransom. I have had enough. I will return the 700 in batteries and close our business and personal Amazon. Do yourself a favor. Get off the couch and drive to the store. Its cheaper and AMAZON doesn't deserve your loyalty.
Customer service is very bad. Called them 10 times and every agent says the same thing and never resolves the issue. Bought a bicycle which was not great. Wanted to return it, but was messaged by the seller and forced to keep it for some compensation after deleting my review first. They insisted so much and bothered me for two weeks sending messages in the middle of night because the working hour in china is different than uk. Anyhow I did not want ti keep the item and wanted to return it. They insisted again if I delete my review they will send a pick up for the item. I did not agree and said I need my refund first then will think about deleting or changing the review. They didn't like it so it's been more than a month and I am unable to return this stupid item. Only because it's more than 15kgs. Post office and Hermes only accept items that are less than 15kgs. The 100% refund guarantee emails and says to send the item to the where house but how? Emails after emails, calls after calls no help provided and the bicycle seller is happily laughing at my frustrations and knows Amazon won't provide help so hence never responds to my queries or is bothered to send a pick up. This is a sham for Amazon with such a poor customer service. And yeah most can't even speak English properly. One wrote "the seller the customer can not return the item due to its wait" NO NO due to its weight you dumb person!
Consistently getting unauthorized charges from Amazon claiming that items that have been returned (with UPS drop off receipts), are now not returned.
I have to contact them 3-5 times for each unauthorized charge in order for them to refund the unwarranted charges!
Amazon is nice and has some great deals, on their website they tell you to download the web app for a gift card that is worth 7,50 euro/dollar but that is a lie, I downloaded it and you get nothing and when you reach out to the customer service about it asking when you will get the gift card that they promise you for downloading the web app they keep saying wait a couple days you will get an email, it is all a lie. I reached out 3 times to them and 3 weeks later still no email. The services are absolutely pathetic making promises that they don't/won't keep but outside the service it's a good site.
Amazon drivers can't read, every time always past strict times of business closing. In my delivery directions it says this is a business and only open monday-friday 8am-5pm, and every time the deliver past 5, missing a lot of packages. Even have it in the address line of delivery hours. Amazon don'tcare of the many complaints as they still deliver late. I will create a site just to post all the compliants for amazon, maybe if people stop sing them things may get better. I use them very little now, where i use to use them all the time. I will not renew membership next time, as well as send bad remarks about amazon and help people find better places to go.

Six weeks ago I left a review on here because of the shotty service Amazon was providing. My last incident with them, involved my ordering outdoor curtain rods. They never came, in fact, some kind of garden hose reel is what I received. This was one of my many calls to Amazon about mistakes. I was advised that they would resend the curtain rods I had ordered and they did. I finally receive them one week later. Now, fast forward six weeks and I just received the following email telling me that I am supposed to return a curtain rod or they are going to charge me AGAIN. Why? I have no idea. This is absolutely sickening and consumer fraud. I have not ordered from Amazon since my last review so now they are harassing me? I have no idea what to think about this. See the attached screenshot of the email I just received from them. AMAZON IS A FRAUD!

I am a Cinephile, and I have watched tons of movies in my entire life, for that reason I had to subscribe Disney+, Amazon prime, Netflix, Hbo max etc. To me Amazon prime has the best contents if we talking about recent time, like The Boys (amazon's flagship series) is something only Amazon could stream it on their platform. I like using the app, which is smooth to operate. I am with amazon prime.

I placed an order yesterday for a delivery window between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. last night. Seemed convenient enough... Until the driver showed up in his car full of other deliveries, none of which were organized or separated. All the bags were just shoved into his little 4 door car as if he just pulled in and out of the loading dock in a hurry. Subsequently, as I unloaded my 31 item order, I realized I was missing 7 items (about $45 dollars worth of food). Within the Amazon app, there is a way to try to call the driver. I tried twice within 5 minutes of him driving away from my home. Of course, no answer. I then phoned the Amazon Fresh customer service number to communicate the missing items to them. No problem, they would either refund or have the items redelivered in the morning. I chose refund so we went down the list of what was missing. This morning I checked my Account. Not all items were refunded and the gratuity was still hanging out there (as if the kid deserved a tip). So I had to call back a second time to run through the list of missing items. This was a dismal experience that will never be repeated. A sad attempt at convenience that quickly became inconvenient and infuriating. I will not use Amazon Fresh again. Avoid if you can. Skip the hassle and just take yourself to the darn store.

I have Amazon prime mostly for the prime video I rarely order things. First order of this year. I ordered car parts. 8 fuel injectors, fuel pressure regulator and some gaskets. The order when it was purchased said everything will be delivered in June 6. Day after I ordered then I start getting updates partial orders now on the 6, 7, 8. They deliver 5 fuel injectors and the regulator and gaskets 2 separate drops on the 7th nothing came on the 6th. They shipped the rubber gaskets and the regulator in a strong sturdy box. Open it up and they sent me a temp sensor instead of the regulator. Then later the 5 fuel injectors come and they were shipped in brown paper shipping bags! 2 of the injector boxes inside were severely crushed. So you ship non sensitive items in strong boxes with bubble wrap and sensitive fuel injectors I paid $300 for in a brown paper bag with no bubble wrap?!?!?!
So now I wait to put my truck back together 4 days late for my last 2 injectors to come tomorrow. Also now I have to drive to the parts store and get a fuel regulator because I can't wait another 4 days for them to send the right one. The whole operation is a clown system. Yeah it's a massive company so is McDonalds that sold. Billions of sh itty burgers what does that tell you? Didn't the pet rock sell in the millions? Just because a company is big doesn't mean it's good. I don't care if this company makes billions I really don't. Let the young people support it I'm not.
Amazon delivery driver tries to turn around in the middle of the street in front of my rental house. As he/she was backing up they hit the short brick wall along the sidewalk in front of the house and broke it and knock it over. Of course the drive just left. The renter of the house saw the whole thing and was able to get a picture of the vans license plate. My renter called and reported it to Amazon and I submitted a clam. Amazon response to the claim to offer me $500 in a check or amazon credit. REALLY Guys! They then said if I didn't agree with the amount I can go get estimates and resubmit a claim. I requested them to send a adjust out to look at the damage. The said they would NOT send anyone out to inspect the damage. It was up to me to go get damage reports and send it to their claims department. So in other words their delivery driver damages my property and I have to spend my time getting this problem resolved. Would You call this good customer service? It looks like I will be dropping my Prime Account and stop buying anything from Amazon in the future!
Amazon is excellent when it comes to customer service. Always feel safe when purchasing items from them. Do check! Sometimes items are sold by third party that can be less reliable, but Amazon always step in to assist where possible.
Update: This issue has been resolved, thankfully: It is hard to comprehend how a bunch of overpaid entitled "smart" people can defy all logic and common sense as to make such colossal errors as making the default language Spanish and then have every page convert to English on the fly (after@ 3 secs) and then 50% of the drop down menus dont convert at all and stay on Spanish, even when all your settings are set to English only... i really, really hope a bunch of people get fired for this, including Bezos if he approved such a boneheaded idea... Infuriating!
I have been a Prime member for years. My non-profit regularly purchases gifts for sick kids over the last five years from Amazon and has spent nearly $20k with them. I purchased (for myself) a telescope. When received, it had a card from the seller stating if I was to leave a "5-star review" I would receive an Amazon credit. So I did. A simple review, 5-stars. Amazon flagged the review as "against their community standards" and have banned my account from submitting any further reviews, while deleting all previous reviews. For six days, I have emailed (8 times) "community-help (at) amazon.com" asking why I'm banned with ZERO responses. I have chatted with support who will not deal with the issue, but have "escalated" the request. I have spoken on the phone twice with support who will not deal with the issue, but have "escalated" the request. Support on Twitter and Facebook have all told me I need to email support for adjudication... but no one will respond to emails. It's a horrible way to treat a customer... a non profit who has done nothing wrong... and seemingly don't care if they lose a customer. Amazon is so large now, they care NOTHING about their customers.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
