I shop at Amazon frequently. It is so much more convenient for me. When I order the X Large bags of dogfood it is great that it comes right to my door. I luv their customer service and their fair policies. Everything I have ordered has arrived in perfect condition except chips & crackers.

I am an Amazon Prime member. I've always been happy with Amazon before, but what's happening now is just a shock! Deliveries are delayed, things are lost, and instead of enjoying the purchase, I spend time sorting things out with the most clueless customer service in the world. There is not a single specialist there - just a stream of words. This time my delivery was canceled twice; I bought gifts, as is clear, by a certain date. I write to them about this, and the support team repeats as usual - you will receive the goods in 24 hours and you can return everything - what a horror! I ordered expensive things and it all looks more like some kind of deception. It was such a great company! This is what happens when they hire just anyone.
No need to reiterate. Amazon is the world's most successful online shopping pace. Their customer service reps are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They make you feel at ease immediately knowing that they are fully trained, well-mannered, and completely doing everything they can to resolve your issue. Their choices of merchandise are ample. It is easier to purchase from them than from anywhere else.
I've continued to buy thousands of dollars with Amazon because they're the best gig for batch buying across multiple product categories, but if I lived in the States more often I would buy local when possible. I've been using Amazon.com for over a decade with mostly positive experiences (I usually buy in batches of $1000 since I live overseas most of the time). Lately, I find their platform very troubling. Last week the android app self-bought some off-brand deep muscle massager in my pocket overseas, and was set to buy 4 more. I discovered this by a confirmation e-mail which showed it was going to send the pocket-purchase to a USA hotel address I used months ago. How does this happen, I didn't have one-click buy on, and when I go to buy products for real, they make me follow many steps.
Another thing I've noticed in the last two years is the blatant AI price manipulation when you leave multiple products in your cart while evaluating them. The prices for those items keep going up, then down a bit, then really up, then they start playing with availability. There is no longer any price guarantee so when I finally paid for my purchase, many of the "in cart" items had noticeably increased. Yet, even two days later when checking prices I found the items has returned to the lower price. Many examples of this, so don't keep items in your cart.
Fake branded products are a real problem on Amazon, I have bought several by accident. User reviews are also being faked, you can read 4-5 star reviews that have nothing to do with the actual product. If you don't believe me read reviews on "sonic bark controllers". I've noticed products that have lots of bad reviews are being cancelled, then resold as a new product to shed the bad reviews. Total manipulation. Most of these products aren't for large dollar items so most of us don't bother to send back. The few time I've bought and left negative reviews, somehow the seller is able to get my real email and write notes begging me to change my review "my family depends on my sales..."
If Amazon has more money than god, why aren't they securing the platform and protecting the buyers? They make more sales not doing so... Again, another example of a good company corrupted by money. I will only be buying things I can't find anywhere else, in fact, I think Walmart is probably the good guys now compared to Amazon. So sad, greed and unregulated capitalism once again doesn't protect the buyer. The "Market" will eventually correct itself? I sure hope so, but it's always at the expense of the little guy.
My Amazon code was invalid when trying to use it I never got code for my Walmart card someone needs to check these out
Warning: purchases of new items (electronic) ARE NOT COVERED BY MANUFACTURER SUPPORT. I just found out that you are voiding manufacturer support the item is sold by Amazon and support is by Amazon only for warranty period. Nowhere is that mentioned on the description site.
Everything was great didn't need any help. Everything was in stock and being shipped on Friday. I am going to be making another purchase in a few days using your redeemed gift cards
So I received a package today. I had instructed the delivery person online to open my porch door and put my package inside the door. I requested this to keep my package safe from porch pirates. Turns out I grab my package and he sees me and he tells me to change my instructions because by Amazon's standards they can't open door. I as a customer have every right to say how I want my package delivered to ensure it's safety from being stolen. Because of this rule they have I will no longer be a Amazon customer neither will I spend another penny again on them. They have lost a customer for good!
They were a good company at the start now they have grown way to big for there britches. They don't take proper care an attention to the people who have placed them there all they see is money signs.
I had ordered a baby diapers on 12th April and delivery was in 16th. Since I'm a new mom I had hospital consultation but I had opted for COD so I postponed the Dr appointment and waited in my home. On 16th delivery guy gave a 4 second Missed Call. I called him multiple times, either it was ringing or waiting and later disconnecting continously. Contacted customer service and he too tried to reach him. Next day delivery was promised and I postponed my Dr appointment. Next day also I didn't receive the parcel. I called them at 8pm, they told that they will deliver it by 10 and I waited till 10.33pm but no use. I called them again, they told that it will be surely delivered next day and next day I saw the status as RETURNED TO SELLER. Delivery guys damaged the parcel and sent it back since I complained... I wasted 3 days and now deleted amazon account in my mobile and my hubby's. Even informed my friends and relatives to do that. They are cheaters.
This was my first time ordering from this store and I was amazed at the quality of service. I order a lot, I used to do joint purchases, and I have never encountered such service anywhere.

Le 29 juin 2023 au siège d'AMAZON, là non plus je n'ai pas obtenu de réponse. J'ai fait appel à un conciliateur de Justice, mais le remboursement proposé par AMAZON ne couvrait même pas la totalité des sommes que j'ai déboursées pour défendre mes droits; j'ai refusé la transaction. Depuis je suis en procès avec AMAZON!

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
