Damaged goods

I ordered eyeliner and when I got it from China 2 months later it was damaged the cheap plastic envelope is wearing the eye liner and of course it won't let me post a review on the product or the poor shipping methods they use I can't wait to get the rest of my broken crap. Skip it. Thank God it's cheap and not waterproof I feel bad for the mail lady who had to deliver this mess.

Wow -- Amazon has become NOT the place to expect refunds!

Still waiting -- 30 days later -- for my refund on my Samsung S22 Ultra. I returned my 512 Gig version for the 256 version, which would have taken five minutes at a Best Buy. I am getting the spookiest, most bizarre accusing responses from Mohammed and the two dozen Amazon employees who keep implying that this is requiring some sort of "investigation" -- I assume because of some flags that some supervisor named Jennifer placed on my account after she blamed me for Amazon's ongoing delivery errors - which have NOTHING to do with me, or this return. They are PUNISHING ME for returning the phone -- there is no doubt about it.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING YOU MAY NEED TO RETURN FROM AMAZON -- ESPECIALLY ELECTRONICS OVER $300 IN VALUE. Go to BestBuy, WalMart, Target or directly from the manufacturer.

Amazon was happy to take in billions and stimy money during the pandemic, but now their true colors are visible in cases like this. No good. Very bad.

The latest abuse from Amazon -- aimed at a customer who has spend over $30,000 on their website! Outrageous!

Where's my REFUND?

I returned a $1300+ Smart Phone on June 9th at an Amazon Locker as required. It was in perfect returnable condition. They promised a refund within 7 days of receiving it. LIE. Then they said it would be refunded within 14 days. LIE. They told me it was delivered June 20th. Then they told me it wasn't received yet. Then they said it was. Then they said it wasn't. Then they said the refund would be processed on June 26th. Then they Said by today. Then they said July 9th. Then they said it was not 7 days, or 14, but THIRTY DAYS. Then they told me anything over $300 takes 30 days, which is a new policy. I've had plenty of items returned over $300 and usually I get the refund instantly or in a few days.
NOW it's a month... until they make it longer.

BestBuy = instant refund, a week by mail.
WalMart = instant in store, a week by mail.
Google Store = instant/a week by mail depending on price.
Amazon = 30 days or more.

AMAZON IS NOT THE PLACE TO BUY ANYTHING OVER $300.

It's June 28th. Now, I'm told it takes 30 days.

I finally spoke to someone who spoke English, and she told me they were blaming me on all of the stolen packages and missing items in packages -- when it's clearly Amazon employees making these errors. Wow. Even evil Walmart isn't THAT evil.

5% of their deliveries never make it, and the customer is blamed. Every time. Not stolen -- just driver or shipper error. The customer is blamed.

1 out of 20 orders never arrive, but Amazon claims they did. I will track the order and be there at the gate when they *supposedly* dropped it off according to their computers, but nobody shows. When you tell Amazon, they insist it was dropped off. It wasn't. Why don't drivers take pictures every single time? Instead, you have to convince someone from God know's where to refund you and they have to do it on trust? It's incredible stressful and negates the whole convenience of delivery.

One time I had multiple orders in 1 box, one item was missing -- the least valuable item in fact so obviously if I was lying I would chose the gold earrings that DID arrive in that box. It took an hour of communicating with several agents to eventually convince them to refund me. It was AMAZON's error.

2 days ago, an Amazon driver dropped off 10 packages, but the 11th was never delivered. I met the driver. I spoke with him. I received the other 10. The 11th was missing. It took numerous communications -- again.

Returns can be equally stressful. Amazon Agents give you conflicting information about when a return was received, when it will be processed, and when it will be refunded. I am still waiting on over $1500, but the agents give me different answers each time. Is that any way to instill confidence in Amazon?

Why is it so often you have to BEG their Customer Service agents to do their job. Why does it seem like they are winging it? Making things up? Clueless?

For everyone who hates Amazon's new monopoly... it has cracks in it and some better company can replace them if they could provide better delivery and returns. Amazon's Customer Service is too often frighteningly horrible and abusive! At the least, they are inconsistent and unreliable. Can you trust them on orders over $50?

How many hours have I wasted trying to do Amazon's job when I've ordered electronics? I've lost count.

I've been waiting 4 days for an order they said was "guaranteed" to arrive. They are slippery. They lie. And do NOT allow them to combine orders into one shipment for fewer deliveries -- you'll be very sorry.

My advice: order important items 1 at a time and force Amazon to deliver them separately. Too bad we can't save gas or time on delivery, but you will be sorry if you do.

Use to love Amazon

I use to love amazon but in the past year it continuously get worse. From terrible sellers sending damaged items and after item is returned-sellers won't refund money. Reaching out to Amazon getting them todo anything is become nearly impossible. Items constantly being cancelled week after purchasing. Subscription items having the price double starting the 2nd shipment without you being made aware of this price increase. They also are taking way longer to ship than you were originally quoted then when you try to cancel they say NO. I have used Amazon for 6 years to my 2 full-time businesses and now say no more! I guess they got to big to do the right thing. Use a 100% refund for purchases to make sure you can dispute items if you have issues..

I received a gift card code in an email from Amazon. The Amazon website states it is invalid. I never used it or sent it to anyone else. I contacted customer service twice and spent over 90 minutes trying to resolve this issue without success. I will not be using Amazon's services in the future if this is the standard of customer service I can expect.

Almost as bad as ebay

Amazon is starting to be on the same level as ebay (which is not a good thing in my opinion). I ordered a home gym June 4th 2022. It was supposed to be delivered July 4th 2022 (a month after I was charged for it). This was an almost $850.00 purchase and as of today I'm told by customer service to give it another 48-72 hours. If it is not delivered they say they will give a refund or a replacement. I was the home gym but I'm scared to get the replacement and have to wait another month and then that one not show up either. So frustrated

Amazon has a pattern of double billing me. They billed me so many times for my Prime membership, my bank refuses to pay that bill... they just keep rejecting it. I just got double billed for an item yesterday. I used Affirm as a payment method, but Amazon debited my bank card instead. They cancelled my transaction with Affirm. I don't think I will be purchasing items from them in the future.

Company is dependable, works very hard to fix missteps by their subcontractors, very quick to replace or refund if they cannot easily resolve the issue.

For anyone who is homebound or just not fond of walking grocery store aisles Amazon Fresh is an answer. The option to choose between Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods or Amazon Warehouse is an A+ winner in our opinion.

Being a Prime member has many benefits. Choosing Amazon Day Delivery offers gift credits that are automatically applied to subsequent purchases.

Subscribing for products used often is another benefit. Choosing the frequency of subscriptions (including an option to be reminded to re-order) is another benefit. Great record keeping if the shopper wants to look back at orders they'd like to duplicate using the "Buy Again" option.

In our experience Amazon ranks very high with outstanding customer service. Simply put, if you want grocery items without using the gas in your vehicle you would be wise to give Amazon (Prime) a try.

Poor Service

I purchased an amazon grocery order twice in a row, and two times my order was not delivered, ihad to call them on account of it. I will never shop with them ever again, way to muc drama to deal with for my money. Now i am sbject to wait two days to be refunded my money. Iwill shop somewhere else from now on, i don't have time to deal with their foolishness.

I purchased 2 moissanite curved wedding bands from seller ladylike-us and love the craftsmanship but returned because they were too big and I asked to have my refund back on my amazon gift balance to purchase a smaller size and style. I have done returns in the past and they were all shipped with the Amazon label, dropped off at ups I always use, going to same return facility that's on my labels. Each time I receive a email letting me know (amazon customer service: Once carrier receives package from UPS you will be refunded to your original payment method 3-5 days or Amazon gift balance in 2-4 hour)
This return I did on June 27,2022 and UPS as well as Amazon confirmed delivery on June 28,2022@ 10:00am.
I have called every day now several times, chat in the app and keep being told that this return falls under a new return policy and takes 30 days regardless. When I've asked for documentation or proof that I was made aware of this new policy they avoid the question or end the chat. I have asked if all returns are in this now? Asked if this return is part of it then we the customers should know what falls under the new policy"
Lastly, My personal information was shared to pissedconsumer.com without my approval.

I ordered 5 items on June 25 th 2022 and my package was expected to arrive on Tuesday the 28 th 2022 it didn't come they said it's lost in transit that was on Wednesday now it Friday they promised me it would be here Friday by 10pm no package they have messed up my holiday my hair didn't come in a timely manner I waited at home all day hoping my package would come no package yet I called customer service they can't tell me anything and don't no anything if Jeff Bezo gone stay on top he better do something to change the way they lie to customer before he won't have any am not never ordering from Amazon again in life because your word should be valid not bull$#*! so y'all happy 4 th of July they ruined mines

I remember 20 years ago me or my friends would be searching for something on the Internet and it would take us to a website called Amazon with nothing on it and we'd say what the hell is Amazon why is directing this to this empty place as a matter of fact it didn't matter what you were searching for it would take you to this empty link called Amazon we get angry the link is going nowhere and then eventually you would find what you were looking for in the form of a book that's how Amazon started but now Amazon has become nothing but a place where sellers are bullied. If you sell on Amazon you are treated like a third grader. You have to abide by rules that are not specified. You have to figure out the rules on your own and you have to write essays that are read by robots. Anybody that is selling on Amazon is looking for another place to sell any body that is selling on Amazon will gratefully leave Amazon in a heartbeat should anyone else decide to compete with them

I cancelled an order prior to shipment and later that day Amazon notified me the item still shipped and I would have to pay over $50 to ship it back. When I spoke to two different representatives at Amazon I was told that they would send me a shipping slip to return the item for free, since it was suppose to be cancelled and wasn't. These were lies. They emailed me an return shipping slip to attach to the package and then charged my credit card for over $50 for the shipping even though I reiterated a few times over the phone that they were sending me a free shipping slip because I shouldnt have to pay for the return shipping when I cancelled the order prior to the item being shipped. They flat out lied to me and then charged my card behind my back.
