You can bet your bottom dollar that if you have to call customer service even for the simplest the things you're going to be given the runaround with no real answers Beyond what you can see yourself in the Amazon app. You can call five times talked to five different people and you will get five different answers and each one will swear they're telling the truth! You can't believe a word they say, you can actually get them to contradict themselves! Rude, nasty and very unprofessional outsourcing to a country that does not respect Americans!

It can be convenient until you need to make a return. I wouldn't trust the estimated shipping dates. They tend to be inaccurate. They do have a wide variety of sellers and products on there so it can be easier than ordering from a few different sites or driving around trying to find everything.

Worst customer service

Customer service are a bunch of liars. They tell you one thing and when you call them back ask them about refund that I was supposed to get and they act like they dont know what your talking about. I will be doing alot less shopping with Amazon.

If you actually have a particular item in mind show around. Walmart, Google shopping, department stores. I'd say at least 85% of time you will find it cheaper. When it comes to convenience those same stores ship so you still do not have to go anywhere. Third party sales on Amazon will eventually ruin them. People don't realize that they are paying way more for everything because of the convenience.

I enjoy this shopping experience but the past few weeks seems less items available. No steaks that were advertised in your flyer. Was told by staff they never came in, ditto on the advertised asparagus. Second week at still no Amazon brand Italian sausage. The coupons are helpful, especially with the inflation, but can't be used at other locations which might have the missing items. I ordered a pizza but when I went to pick it up, I was told they dropped it and had to throw it out. I realize this location is relatively new so I hope my comments can be of use in improving things. The staff is very courteous.

Beware when buying from Amazon
Beware when buying from Amazon, there are subscribed sites where they pay commission a bit like eBay, went to buy Nivea, site said free delivery but you to order a minimum of two, then went to pay to be hit with a hidden £29.95 postage charge, fortunately I spotted this. I reported it to Amazon who in return said your not prime you need to pay postage, so looked at sight again (nothing there saying spend £20.00 or over or prime customer only, so told Amazon this as it's fraud, only for Amazon to cut me off,

Amazon is becoming a joke

My packages never show up when they're supposed to anymore and most of the time when they do they are damaged. I watched an Amazon employee on my cameras throw my package at my front porch. I've had packages become undeliverable for some reason and have had to wait weeks to get my refund, even though I never received my package they still made me wait for their undeliverable package to come back before they would refund my money. I will not be using Amazon anymore. I do not need the headache. They offer absolutely no help when having problems with orders, they show no concern for their customers.

Downhill so fast

Remember when amazon service was second to none? Boy how that has changed. Now they are contumely late with delivery's, they switch delivery dates by up to 4 days without notice or warning, they just do it. Then they offer you 5 dollars to make up for it. Walmart.com has better shipping and delivery than amazon, i never thought I would say Walmart out preformed amazon. Lol

Beginning of disappointments

Amazon will send opportunities to review their service or products you've ordered. You can say that you've received an item on time, and delivery was great. They even ask if you would like to submit a compliment. If it's good, your review is posted. But if you review the product, and say that the content arrived damaged, or was packed poorly, they reject your review, citing that reviews of shipping and receiving is not allowed. That's unfair to the company that the item came from, and the consumer who wishes to purchase the product. It takes away the right of making informed decisions by the company (product) and a future consumer.

Corruption defined

Guaranteed delivery?

Order a 800 dollar item with guaranteed delivery, when it arrives a few days late, they give you five bucks. These guys should be in jail for ripping off 100 of millions of people. They repeatedly claimed my bar was closed at 4 in the afternoon. Apparently the driver couldn't find a neon sign literally 30 feet long on street front, sharing a parking lot with an east gas station.

Of course when the driver doesn't even go by, it's hard to see the giant neon sign. Amazon drivers notorious for not delivering to businesses perhaps even instructed to do them last on route,

In the past I could run purchase detail reports for my annual purchases for my budget calculations, now Amazon has taken that ability away - how stupid, I can imagine why and I bet there are a lot of people that used that reporting just to review their purchases, I guess Amazon thinks if you can see how much you spend on Amazon you will cut back - again how short sighted and stupid!

I pay the extra for Amazon Prime, the shipping costs now, I dislike
I'm an avid Amazon Shopper, but Not always do I order more than 25$ all at once. Just yesterday I went through the hassle of trying to meet that minimum to qualify for free shipping, even searched and searched for the qualified items… and WAS STILL CHARGED SHIPPING.
I got the alert "you've qualified for free shipping ".

Primes Monthly payment should get lowered if I'm going to pay $5- $10 dollars to ship on top of that 25$ I've spent to qualify.

Great online retailer

Amazon is one of the biggest online retailers that I use on a frequent basis I buy a lot of personal necessities along with needs and wants and anytime there's been any kind of an issue there quick to fix whatever the issue is and I've been a long time fan of Amazon as a retailer as a whole

Horrible Service!

I was so mad last night. I expected delivery between 8 to 10 pm. I have to be at work early in the morning and I was expecting to have my breakfast and lunch from that order. It was past 10:20 pm when I called to ask when was the delivery coming. The operator said they can't find a driver. I asked if could they deliver it in the morning before I left for work and the operator said I would have to go back in and restart the order. Really?! As a part of customer service, she couldn't make that happen. She acted nonchalantly and acted as if she could care less. So disappointed. What happened to good customer service? Plus the prices have gone up tremendously for such a poor selection.

OK, but...

"Customer service" is a farce: computers giving you multiple choice responses, people for whom English is not the first language (and are hard to hear when you're hearing impaired), asking the computer to connect to a person doesn't work, etc. If you have a problem with delivery the computer tells you to either wait 48 hours or check with your neighbors. Is that help/service? Doesn't work for me.

Nasty customer service

That's a new low, to just hang up on a customer,

Here's how the call went I called in the 3d time about a product that arrived damaged, but amazons "policy " doesn't allow a return so I have to contact the manufacturer but there's no information on their page. So I called back again and after back and forth which the rep didn't Believe me till she went to all the steps saying on each one of them "I will show you " the rep told me to send a email to a seemingly random account assuring me that "this is the same seller". Ok so I sent a email to this account and after a lot of back and forth he told me simply that this order is not from them.

So I called back again and explained this and after placing me on hold 2 times total of '15' minutes the rep came back and said guess what "I should contact the manufacturer again". After explaining that this isn't a option I was placed on another hold and then came this, the rep told we already explained the options good night and simply hong up the phone ……………
