Customer service would not help me even after they sent me the wrong tires TWICE. And the customer service person was very unprofessional.
Order a knee scooter on the 13th that said it would be her the 15th if I ordered with in 4 hours. I pressed order. I need knee scooter because or an injury and for surgery this week. 15th comes around and I see notifications say it will be here by 430, then it changes to 430-630, then 630-830 then again 6:30 to 10. At 9 I get a notification that it might not come and will be here the next day. I contact online customer service at 9:05 to find out what happened. They tell it will still arrive on 15th before 10 it's in the truck. Get sick of chat people and ask for someone to call me. First person said it's still on truck and might arrive that night. Was confused aske so as the night that person got on and repeated same BS over and over again then hung up on me. Called back for same BS and next manager hung up on dais someone else will call me back soon, that never happened. Called back 30 minutes later (10pm) to find out why no one got back to me. That manager hung up on me.
Was told during calles that my order was supposed to arrive on 16th not 15th. Which is BS because if it would have said that when I pressed order I would have picked a different item. So they change something after I ordered it. Need to say after emails and phone calls being hung up on Amazon has lost customer
In December of 2021 I bought security cameras from Camera Outlet on Amazon. They were defective so I asked for a return label to return them. For a couple of months I got "no refunds" responses and calling customer service was useless. I disputed the $430.72 on my
Discover Card and the charge was removed. However, Amazon shut down my account as fraud activity. I couldn't get into my account or watch TV being a Prime Member. I was told by Amazon, I had to remove the dispute from my Discover and use their A-Z program. I returned the cameras at my expense and I had already done that with them claiming I got my refund. A designated person from Discover did the research and it it clearly showed the charges for the cameras being bought, the dispute removed and then recharged. I sent 2 letters to the CEO of Amazon Brian Olsavsky with all my Discover Card statements from December 2021 to April, 2022 clearly indicating Amazon did not refund Discover after the cameras were returned. No one has reached out to me as of October 13,2022. Bottom line is Camera Outlet has their merchandise back and Amazon has my $430.72. This is extremely frustrating.
I have been ordering from Amazon for years and have always been a prime member. The past few months prime has been running 5-7 days instead of 2. We had a hurricane in Florida and I ordered a lamp and on air conditioner. I ordered a week before the hurricane and never got them. I canceled them for a refund. I have other things this week and got messaged after a week saying they were lost. I live chatted with an agent yesterday to complain about my items getting lost. She assured me the item would be there in 24 hours, didn't come, I got another message saying it was lost. So I live chatted today with another agent and he didn't seem concerned that I was lied to yesterday. I just renewed my prime and told him I was all set with Amazon and wanted to cancel my prime. He told me that there are no refunds for prime. I asked him how they could charge for prime when clearly they can't fulfill their obligations, he pretty much said "oh well". I am done with Prime, they'll never get my money again.
I carefully reviewed and looked at pictures of a rug that I recently bought. When I got it, it looked completely different. They will take the rug back but won't pay for shipping. The Rug is 9x12 and huge and heavy. Be carefully when it says return accepted - that's on your dime.

I purchased this dog collar through Amazon but it is available at other sites. Was pleasantly surprised. No plastic on this item it's all metal and heavy duty straps expandable from 10 in to close to 20 in. Well worth the money
Given the increases in Prime membership the last 5 years, the return window should be longer than 30 days, especially for holiday gifts! Many other businesses have much more liberal return policies.
Lying, scamming, excuse of a business. If you shop or do any business with Amazon, including working for them, STOP, do yourself a favor & save yourself the headaches. We were made to work in an incomplete warehouse, only open 15%. It was dangerous with the construction going on. I spent 4hrs and talked to 15 different people and my issue wasn't solved, they took PTO from me, they denied my doctor's note, then deducted time off, they have people go home when they ARRIVE for shift, they're machines are never running correctly, there's no communication, Everyone gives you the same answer, "I'll have to get back with you on that" or just doesn't GAF. After being told by HR they couldn't do anything for my current issue I'm completely OVER it.
I've been fortunate not to have many issues with amazon and I've been a customer since they were mostly a bookseller.
When there have been issues, they have been resolved. For example, ordering a food item with a bad expiration date, or a package destroyed by a carrier.
When you get something that's damaged or defective, online returns have been effortless and they usually offer UPS pickup for these situations.
Prime has been a little dodgy. The two day shipping is not really a thing. However, many items are shipped far faster than they would be from many retailers. The annual Prime fee is worth it to me because I use amazon weekly.
Unfortunately the search results are full of third party fly-by-night resellers and trashy fast fashion and other sus products. Usually I only order items sold by amazon, not third parties, though a few third parties are trustworthy, such as Theo Chocolate and Neilsen-Massey. These are well established businesses not resellers going by weird made up word names.
Overall, I trust amazon and rely on them constantly for items not available locally.
I want to share my experience with amazon it was not too much good but far better. The product is genuine but delivery service has to be improved.
I recently had a problem and they were quick to fix it. This is why I give them my paycheck weekly... Haha. They are seriously the best and great customer service. They deserve 10 stars
For a long time, Amazon truly valued customer satisfaction and would apologize for issues, and quickly provide reasonable compensation for problems. Over the past few years, the prices have gotten higher, and the service for issues has gotten cheaper. Now, the standard is only a $10 rebate if there's issues, no matter how severe. And it appears that there's no way to get around this. I ordered a microwave with my 2-day prime membership, and Amazon said it would arrive by Friday. On Friday, Amazon said they were sorry but it would arrive on Saturday. On Saturday, they said they were sorry but it would arrive on Sunday. On Sunday, they said there was an issue with the carrier and they are cancelling the order. What?! The whole point of ordering our microwave online was to get it quickly. So I chatted with Amazon, and they offered me a $10 gift card. I spent - get this - 90 minutes chatting with customer service, and they said they were sorry but they couldn't give me anything more than $10. Thanks for nothing Amazon!
Being a Prime Amazon member is complete BS. Deliveries are late. Drivers are careless. Groceries are garbage. Very low quality selection of foods. Most items are overpriced compared to local Supermarkets. Whole Foods shopping is a joke. They still charge you for delivery $10. Plus Driver tip.
I went to chat and the rep said he would pass my question to a "specialist" regarding an order i placed and had not shipped. After a while i got mail from someone else who made sorry for the "order have not yet delivered. I sent back two more replays including the order number again and still got a request to supply order number and other details!. Its means they dont read mails good.in respone i canceled my order and deleted my account. Its ridicules service
These people are clueless and are there to get a paycheck and could care less about their customers! The drivers throw your packed out the truck in the streets and then when you call customer service they act like you did something wrong and put you through a bunch stress by sending you emails asking questions they already know! Customer service is lazy! The drivers could care less if and how you get your package! I'm a 74 year old disabled woman I live on the third floor sometime they bring my packages to my apt and most times they don't they leave out side the building and packages get lost and stolen! I call customer service too many to many time! They take your shopping experience and turn it into a nightmare! They need quality control and new training for their delivery system! I get the same error more than 20 times in a 3 month period and customer service act like they don't want to be bothered! EBay and Walmart will be fine with me! I don't yet know the quality of the product I ordered but I do know amazon customer service is a joke. When trying to check the status of my item I just kept getting redirected by their bot service. So I guess when it gets here it gets here I have no info on when that will be thanks to this ridiculous sight.
My university has a business account with amazon and no help dont ever expect to get anything done with there $#*!ty customer service reps. I've never been so mistreated on a phone line. This world is a sad place and most ppl dont have kind hearts its disgusting.
As of Sept 1 2022 customer service is not allowed to transfer to a U.S. person. Sad that they are NOT supporting customer services in the United States. Frustrating as well when one has to repeatedly state issue as if they are not hearing or understanding. Receiving many damaged products, give until 11 pm for deliveries (not good with young children and pets, as pets wake them up because notifying someone approaching home), and prime is not two day anymore, even when check out gives a date. Appears to be getting worse with bad merchandise and lack of U.S. customer service.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
