Amazon should be prosecuted for running a massive scam through their subscribe and "save" scheme. Not once, not twice but every time I have checked on my subscribe and save items from my initial purchase invoice and the price I originally sign up for, when it comes to the price on repeat subscriptions, they always raise the price and DO NOT notify you of it. Where is law enforcement on this? You steal from a store or someone, you will be arrested yet Amazon can rip off people by the thousands maybe millions and that is OKAY? What kind of corrupt country has America become when companies can steal from citizens and the country allows it? Politicians who get paid off by big companies seem to be accessories to these crimes don't you think? Don't take my word for it, if you have a subscribe and save take a look at your past receipts and you too will see how you've been ripped off by Amazon.
One main reason I have a prime membership and order everything from laundry detergent to leather opera length gloves is the, former, ease of returns AND quick refunds, but no more.
If your a frequent shopper, you know that after you request a return you have the choice of using a QR code that is scanned when you return at a UPS store, and most returns are free. If you chose a credit to your Amazon account it would be credited as soon as the item was scanned. No more. It took me three weeks, four phone calls and some yelling to find out that it will not show up as credit on your Amazon account until 7 days AFTER they receive it, and it's even longer for a refund to your form of payment. I sent items back two weeks ago. They were just received today, now I have to wait seven more days for credit to be available on my Amazon account! Not to mention I was told I would be emailed with an update 5 days ago, nothing. This is a huge policy change that I do not appreciate or the lack of understanding and customer service, which is usually excellent. Used to live, love, love Amazon prime. Now, not so much AT ALL. Will be cutting WAY back on purchases including clothes, shoes, cleaning supplies, beauty products, furniture, pet supplies, electronics, and more
This water filter is the best there is in the market. If easily purifies water by removing acidity in the water, and adds minerals.
Amazon used to be relatively decent in terms of reliability and customer service. But over the past year--and especially the past month--they are no better, and in some cases, worse, than other retailers. Issues include: Product quality, packages marked as delivered when they are not, and overall disinterested customer service reps.
Product quality has never been great, but that has also decreased. Lots of fake products, or products that simple are cheap. Other products are ALWAYS expired or past their "Use by" date. Their Allegro coffee always has a past-due use-by date. I finally stopped ordering it. And don't even get me started on their Whole Foods division, where nearly every piece of produce and fruit is moldy or rotten. Yet, they still deliver that to you when you do curbside pickup.
Despite several years of no-issues delivery, that, too, has gone downhill. Packages are listed as "delivered" when you have not received them. When you call to try to find your package, an automated response comes on that says, "We're sorry. Your package was mistakenly marked as delivered when it wasn't. If you don't receive it in two days from now, you can call back and ask where it's at." SERIOUSLY?! WTF? This has happened in multiple packages in the past month.
Seems their layoffs are impacting all areas of service. Yet they raise their Prime membership to $139. No thanks. No longer worth it, as their movies are also crap (poorly written original scripts).
Since amazon changed it so you get mare free music because youre a prime member,,, They suck balls! The algo is all $#*!ed up & it only plays $#*!ty songs! $#*! off Bezos, you gay $#*!ing Twit!
Is seems Amazon has turned into a listing site where the vast majority of items are not in stock or take weeks to months to ship. Oh how I wish they would go back to listing ONLY items in stock that can be shipped immediately! I don't care about saving $2 if it takes me 6 weeks to get...
If you live in any kind of apartment building/condo don't even bother ordering things to your home. Drivers are lazy and will leave your packages outside/by the lobby doors to be stolen instead of following explicit delivery instructions to deliver it to your door/hand the package directly to you. I even given them my phone number to contact me instead of leaving it in a random location and they have a hard time even doing that. I've had packages not delivered AT ALL while Amazon claims that they are, and then when I try to contact their customer service for replacement or refund they refuse as they claim it was delivered and even threaten to "close" my account due to me reporting their delivery drivers' negligence and wanting compensation! When they lost over $100 worth of items! Horrid customer service, I will no longer be using Amazon for any reason.
Customer service is the absolute worst. They have $235 of my money that they won't refund until they "investigate" why UPS lost the package. I have my receipt from UPS, I did my part. The poor customer service rep kept referring to "policy" that they cannot provide. This is not the first issue with poor support, and the aggravation of having to deal with them is not worth it.
Placed an order for Amazon Fresh. They texted because they were out of one item to get approval for a replacement. All good I thought. Waited up for the food to have food for breakfast. 45 min after the delivery window I get a text they cancelled my order for no reason after waiting for hours. Will never order from them again. Too late to get groceries now. Poor customer service.
We've been an Amazon Prime member for years and the prices keep going up and the quality of services keep going down. Twice we have ordered meds for rush delivery and our order is always "lost". It has been difficult to get request to cancel the order and/or request for a refund. Do a local drug store delivery because Amazon IS NOT reliable!
As a prime member its now taking up to 9 days for delivery. So no more prime for me. Sorry A company.
Amazon just did an upgrade on their music app. It's the absolute worst upgrade that I have ever seen. The app stays in shuffle mode and good luck trying to listen to any songs that you have previously downloaded. It's so bad that I'll be looking for another music source and possibly not renewing my prime membership. Thanks for nothing Amazon.
I order hundreds of dollars each year on Amazon. I have received many items from Amazon with no issues. I just recently placed a order with Amazon in the total about of $485.00. I had received some of the items with no problem. I am handicapped and my Mom loves with me. I had went out to spend some time with my daughter and my Mom stayed at home. My Mom goes to bed early so she did just that. I arrived home late that night. My daughter helped me into the house before leaving to head home. The next day I had looked on Amazon's site to see when I should expect some more items I ordered and seen that about 9 items showed as delivered the previous day. I contacted customer service and was told that I needed to file a police report. So after contacting the local sheriff's office they have me a report number. I caked customer service and was told that they tried to contact the police department and that they were not able to contact them so I would need to call back tomorrow and that I needed to complete an incident report from Amazon. I said why would I need to complete an incident report if I have a police report. I am now left without the items so I have a complete loss of $219.61 plus tax. They seem to think everything is funny in whatever country this customer service department is in because it sure isn't in the United States. I guess I will keep looking for a customer relations department and hopefully they won't think things are funny.
I oredered 5 mill mylar bags to store my freeze dried food, they sent me 4 mill bags. I requested the correct product be dilevered as that is what I paid for. Second shipment was same incorrect product. Very unhappy but Amazon did make it right as they should have.
It then made me wonder about the mylar bags I ordered in May. After checking I realized they sent me 4 mill bags instead of 5 mill as I had ordered. The label on the packaging did not say what mill the bags were so I assumed they were 5 mill. DONT ASSUME anything is correct unless you have proof it is. Deception again and the wrong product being delivered, again for the 3rd time. Now I have freeze dried food in an a bag that is not designed for long tern storage. Not happy as it will create more work to correct. Aparently Amazon and its sellers doesnt know mylar bags very well or deception is just a part of it as most people dont notice the fine print, or lack of. Amazon did make it right as they should have, or I would have drug them or seller into small claims court, Dont mind being a little hard here as I am not the one that has failed. Failure is 1 thing but intentional deception is another. A package from china with no indication of mill thickness is a good start for deception or mistakes. Pay attention is all I can say.
I will give 2 stars instead of 1. Only because they did or are supposed to refund my credit card. They did try to make it right and that is the difference between boycot time and OK, I guess I will have to order my bags from ebay.
If you search for the right product carefully, and look at the reviews, everything will be fine. Will order again in the future
I order routinely from Amazon. While their shipping and items are usually good, I recently complained that an item was missing from one of my orders. Amazon never contacted me about it. Nor did they send a replacement item. I gave up on that one. Today my order was delivered to the wrong address. Had to go hunt it down. Then it was so much of a hassle to let them know I've found and obtained my package from the address it was delivered to, I almost gave up to just wait and see if they'd remedy the problem. Customer service is going into the toilet. They now have outsourced their customer service to somewhere overseas. It's hard to understand the agents, and sometimes to get them to understand me. I'm a prime member and I'm considering just closing down my membership because they've begun making it so hard to get help. Crappy customer service and they're increasing their membership fee! How does that make any sense?!?!?!? Not a happy customer. Pic with white railing is my front door. Other pic shows my package sitting at door of the wrong house.
First time shopper. Went to the store in North Hollywood. They had just advertised the best price around for frozen turkeys (. 49/lb). None in stock, and no idea of when or if they would get them. Then on top of that went to find fat free half and half (figuring of anybody they would have that) and no FF H&H of any kind (most stores have more than one). My first visit was my last.
Terrible customer service, Go hacked would not stop order from going through! Told me too bad there's nothing they could do about it.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
