Shopping at Amazon.com "HAS" been a pleasure, that is until recently. I tried to log-on BUT they recently changed their log-on procedure by using a "moving" CAPCHA which is impossible to get correct. Because you can't complete the CAPCHA, they make you change your password again and again. I will look at WALMART before trying Amazon.com again.

Item was damaged during delivery. Amazon would not reship. Told I had to reorder and promised to refund the difference in pricing. I had the rep send me a "confirmation" of that via email. Spent hours on the phone being transferred from one customer service rep to another. Sent numerous emails. Finally was told, sorry we don't do that and they hung up. I would not have reordered had I known they would renege on the promised pricing.
Don't trust amazon and their reviews, genuine reviews they won't allow to post, always promots fake items by promoting fake reviews more over customer care and delivery people also very rude, if you raised complaints also they don't care

I've been getting monthly subscriptions to save money and time. As a longtime customer I thought this was a good idea. Once in a while I compare prices and change my orders. Yesterday I was going to buy a bag of cat food as I expect to run out just 3 days prior to my next scheduled monthly delivery. I discovered the price was $7 cheaper than my subscription!
I called customer service and they did nothing so I cancelled everything.

I had a incident i think it was wednesday morning 10 30 am the worker called me a punk $#*! and i told there manager the next day and i called cooperate to tell them so im waiting to see what happens he needs to be fired because thats unacceptable i didnt say one word to the guy not one word and every time i go in there its a bunch of kids working who suppose to be adults not doing nothing but walking around looking like they in high school laughing and giggling and playing they look and act like they dont want the job or they not appreciative of the opportunity they talk to each other like they out on the corner on the street im in lorton virginia and the amazon is just built and most of the time i go to the amazon in alexandria virginia because the one around my way which is 3 min from my house i refuse to go there because of the staff the workers they awful
Amazon gave me a courtesy credit of $100 after charging my credit card DAILY, for over 2 weeks on something that was returned. I bought a pair of shoes (that didn't fit) with the credit, returned those. I've called twice in the month since Amazon received them and been told TWICE that the refund was being issued.
NOW they want to say a courtesy credit is nonrefundable?!
Had I known that:
A) I wouldn't have bought the shoes
B) if they said nonrefundable before returning, I would have kept them!

When returning a thousand-dollar computer in the month of Christmas they have kept my money, every time calling in they promise to return it within 48 hours. After talking to a supervisor, he only told me another 5 days and hung up on me when I asked to talk to someone else.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
