Got in Paid money, Got shafted, cant get a password. Cant. Access my records.
Cannot access census. They one step your credit card. I am now putting my activity on Wikitree and am starting a Campaign to WIPE OUT ANCESTRY.COM
Leave packages at the door without buzzing door. I was home and yet they left it downstairs on stoop, not even inside the building. I have tried them twice because I thought the first time was a fluke since I was not at home. Second time, was here all day and they still did not buzz and left it anyway. I think this is inappropriate for $100 worth of merchandise!
I use this all the time for anything I need to buy online, great site.
This has to be the best shopping site online. Always get orders in timely manner and customer services are top class when things go wrong. Great example of how to run a website.
I have ordered from Amazon since its inception, usually on a monthly basis. Knock on wood but, to date, I've never had a complaint. At first, I only shopped for books, now I check with them first for anything I order. I am amazed that their prices are usually as good as, or better than, the competition. I even have a link to their site on my blog. I was really excited when I published my first poetry book, at the age of 65 - which is available on Amazon!
Products I order arrive quickly, even from member suppliers. I' have never had to return anything. Amazon is my number one source for reasonably priced audiobooks. I can't drive a block without one playing!
I am titling this review "My Dog Ate My Homework"
Do NOT order from this company. I ordered several items and under the "free shipping" offer for first time orders. I am an
Amazon Prime member, so I order something from Amazon almost every day, receive free two day shipping and have exceptional customer service. I gave Soap.com a try due to their free shipping offer and a coupon discount for first time shoppers. The order was placed on a Thursday with a delivery date given of Saturday. Today was the expected delivery day and I received an email from Soap.com stating the order was going to be delayed and " We do try our best to make sure that we honor the date that is listed on the site. Unfortunately we do not guarantee that day, things are subject to change, due to weather, package being damaged, ext. In this case the reason your order was delayed was the truck that had your package broke down while it was in transit to the FedEx facility." So essentially, It is not our fault. The truck broke down. This would be humorous if it was not so frustrating. I sent a follow up email questioning this response and received a follow email stating: t you are very disappointed in the response you received from us here at Soap.com. "It is such a shame that your first order with us was delayed with FedEx and although it was not our truck that broke down, we do accept full responsibility for orders that are delayed, no matter the reason. Unfortunately, the previous representative was correct in stating that we can never guarantee a delivery date. This is for common sense reasons, like a truck breaking down, or weather impacting the area etc... " Sadly, this was not a joke. It is apparently their policy that they will deliver on time... unless something happens. They have no plan B. They did offer me $10.00 off my NEXT order which I found laughable as I do not plan to do business with them EVER again. Beware!
Diapers.com delivered. It was for a friend's kid's first birthday, and I wanted to get them some practical gifts (diapers, shoes, formula, etc.) and didn't know about diapers.com so took a risk and it paid off. Got a decent deal and they got everything on time. I'd do it again.
I really love Amazon. I have bought numerous products from their site and have always been happy. You just can't beat the prices. I recommend it to anyone, especially for hard to find videos.
Love this site, my go to web ordering spot. If I need it, and they have it, this is where I buy. I must have made 100+ purchases from this site, and I am always happy.
Always the best price. Amazon Prime gets me free two day shipping and there is never any problem returning anything. When I am in hurry, I can usually have something delivered next day for 3 bucks (less than the cost of a coffee from Starbucks!).
Amazon.com is the yard stick that all others try to emulate (but don't quite get it).
Received a Philips Sonicare toothbrush from them today. Unbeatable prices (compared to local department stores) and by far the best toothbrush I've ever used. Should have bought more than one replacement head, though.
4/5 because many of their electronics can't be sent over to Australia, but I used a third-party service to forward it to me. Unsure if the warranty will be valid, but here's hoping that it holds up :D
I order from here all the time. No matter what I need, I go here for fantastic prices and shipping. They use to only sell cds and books when they first came out. Now you can get pretty much anything!
If your a prime member you receive free 2 day shipping on all your orders. I never had any serious issues. When ordering constantly online there will always be a bump or two, but with AMAZON, they take good care of you. Their online chat is quick and easy and they do everything they can for you. Broken item? They replace it right away and won't bother you like some other sites. Got a bad seller? They take care of the problem for you.
By far the best customer service you will find online. A++++
I have been using Amazon.com for several years and highly recommend it. I've purchased everything from vacuum cleaner bags to electronics. My most recent purchase was a Slime tire gauge. I mentioned a vitamin site in another review, but I also use Amazon occasionally for health products and beauty supplies, depending on availability and cost. So far I haven't had any negative experiences.
You can almost order anything now on Amazon, everything I have ordered was acceptable, in some cases I made it acceptable cause if you open it, it is yours unless it is returned in the original packaging... My only other hangup is with the shipping and the push to go with Prime on every order form that you go through.
To their credit, the delivery is always really fast and you can have your own wish list and add and subtract to it which is always a good thing for me so I don't order 3 copies of the same book this month...
All in all, the shipping price is what holds me back the most. But its not a bad site at all...

I ordered some laundry detergent after receiving a coupon in the mail and also an email for a discount. I received a large box full of outdated blank computer paper. No joke. About 15 lbs of computer paper. I feel sorry for the UPS guy who lugged it up my driveway. I know how heavy it was to lug it to my recycle bin. What a nightmare. We'll see if customer service comes through with the fix.
This is one of the site that i used pretty often, it offers lots of varieties from toys to clothes, easy to use, the delivery time is always great and the prices are definitely competitive. I really do like this site. Really well done.
Amazon is and will be one of my favorite stores. It's trusted, easy to use, so I don't want to worry about my money or any harm that can be done with the shipping. Recommended shop
I love Amazon. I think it's better than eBay most of the time. With Amazon I can get all kinds of great CDs, DVDs and video games for really low prices. What I like better about this than eBay, is with eBay you have to compete for everything and the infamous eBay Snipers almost always win. Plus eBay sellers are allowed to add little stipulations to auctions that contractually force the would-be-buyer to agree to in order to make a purchase. With Amazon, none of that is a problem because they don't let it work that way. The ONLY things I have to say negative about Amazon is that the sellers can't combine shipping prices which means if you buy 2 or more CDs from a seller, and they only have to spend $3 to ship them, you still have to pay $2.98 for shipping, for each CD. So the shipping on Amazon can you from a cart sub-total value of $5 and you end up with a $30 total. I also with sellers had to leave feedback for buyers as well. But with the way Amazon buying works it really doesn't matter. That's my ONLY gripe with Amazon. Other than that 1 thing they kill eBay in every single category you can think of. I talk to Amazon reps via-chat anytime I need an answer. Good luck contacting eBay reps!
Amazon I give 4 / 5 only because the shipping will bite you in the butt!
Wish every company could be trusted like Amazon. Always a great shopping experience.
I'm a Prime member, that may have had something to do with the following.
In December I ordered a fragrance for one of my daughters. She never recieved it and the vendor gave me the run around, ie; numerious emails.
One month from placing the order Amazon stepped in and refunded my money directly back onto my debit card.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
