I really like Amazon but I purchased a tablet based on the reviews. Boy was that a mistake. I bought a 10" Tablet and it was terrible. How could this be with so many great reviews? I went back and noticed that the reviews for 3 tablets were joined together. I could only find 2 reviews of 177 that were for the 10", most were for the 7" and a few for the 8". So I started looking at other items only to find there were 100s of examples just like this one. That this is the way Amazon does it. SO DO NOT buy a product based on the reviews summary. You need to read every review to find the ones for the product you are considering.
The only item I have ever purchased on Amazon.com was a ValueRays Heated Mouse. My experience with ValueRays was wonderful, and the heated computer mouse I bought totally solved my cold mouse hand problem. I will shop with them again. Amazon has lots of good products. I was surprised to find a heated computer mouse on their website!
Great site for finding things you can't find else where. Recently I needed 16 mailing tubes. The site that I usually use for purchash the mailing tubes was charging me $68.00 for shipping. I found the same tubes on Amazon for a few dollars more but no shipping fee (I have an account with them). Wow... what a difference in price. I saved $59.00 in all.

I ordered a TOMTOM Rider 2 from them along with a RAM mounting kit. The package arrived and now Rider 2. Tried to call but they only correspond via email. They did finally send the unit. Then I realized I needed a docking station and cable to charge on bike. Ordered that and when it came, the cable had a note in the pkg from another customer saying the cable did not work. It didn't. Again, after email conversations they sent another cable, still did not work. I the cables and docking station back and used a sig lighter hookup to charge. About after a week of using, the ram unit on the bike broke--cheep Chinese junk. I'm not even going to try to return--this process took over a month as it was. STAY AWAY!
Amazon has some good prices but not necessarily the lowest on the web. Be VERY careful when ordering third party items from them as the shipping charges often make up the difference in any lower price they may offer. However they DO sell just about anything =)
Amazon is always a pleasure--best selection, fast delivery. Sometimes the american site is less expensive to order from than the canadian (where i live) but that has more to do with american gov't subsidies than amazon itself.
I have been a fan of Amazon.com for years for I've had pretty much good experience. I'd like to follow their best deals and all of my books are bought from Amazon. I like to make the order worth $25 minimum for the FREE shipping. Very reliable, user friendly. Every time before I buy things at a retailer, I will still check amazon.com. As such a great site, I just wonder whether it works if I join this platform for sharing my musical instruments at www.alldaysmusic.com. Maybe it is worth a try.
When all goes well amazon is really good, but when their vendors don't hold up their end of the deal you can expect a wait of 2 months to try and receive some short of resolution for your bad service. Some of the market place company's are shady to the point one asked me to change my review since at the end of the day I received my money back from amazon. I told them I refused that they should of offered better service so that Amazon would not have to work so hard to fix their mess-up and bad service. Also Amazon make you leave a email and calls you back. Make sure u save the number they call you back on. You are going to need it. Lots of emails and phone calls later you, Amazon in good faith refunds your money. Just be prepared to wait.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Amazon! Their prices always beat everywhere! Whether youre looking to get an iPod for $30 cheaper than Wal-Mart or a case for the iPod for $5 or looking to download a $0.99 MP3 song without having to spend 3 hours downloading iTunes, Amazon is the place to go. I always turn to Amazon before buying anything and they never fail to have stuff cheaper than stores. Well worth the 3 day wait to get something in the mail.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
