I love Amazon.Com. The site is very easy, the reviews are generally useful (I often consult them before purchasing anything) and their customer support has always been responsive. I've been a "Prime" member since they began offering it and find added value in it consistently.
No need for a lengthy review on this one. I've used Amazon for years and always have something positive to say. Great way to find things for cheap/inexpensive, you just have to wait a little longer to get it.
Creating an amazon.com account is pretty easy. I don't remember having to add a credit card number before I actually ordered anything, so that's always good. It's always good to at least skim or search though the Privacy Policy and terms of service. That way you can see how things can work out for you if something negative were to happen.
Most sellers I've bought something from were always really good, punctual, and delivered what I had expected. However there's always that lot that sucks. I tried to buy a replacement laptop battery from a seller (something like kmsbooks/kmsdbooks) and they sent me the wrong one. I contacted them, they were polite and sent me a new one. Still the wrong one.
Overall, a really good site to do your shopping on, just read the reviews before you buy anything so that you are aware of what you might get.
I have had nothing but excellent service from Amazon. Recently I had to return some purchased items and it was easier than I expected. They are doing a great job and often have lower prices than what's available in regular retail stores.
One thing I like about this site is the vast amount of products available. They sell everything. I was able to order some sheet music from a specific author and BAM!. I should order more stuff from here more often. The price was retail price though but that's because its sheet music and very hard to find locally. Supply and demand at work. I was looking at burr grinders for a new coffee machine and found some good prices so I might order one of those. I can't believe I waited so long to order from this site. I guess I am just a bit weary of new places to shop.

Easy returns great products and usually the best prices. I can say that in the last 5 years we really were only disappointed by 2 products and they were pet products with mixed reviews when bought them, so not an Amazon fault.

I have never had anything but positive experiences with Amazon. They have the best customer satisfaction policy hands down. I never worry about ordering from there, even when it's an unknown vendor, because I know if I have a problem with the vendor, Amazon will back ME up and make that vendor honor their customer satisfaction policy. Even if you can put aside the horrible treatment of Amazon employees, even if you can overlook the fact that Amazon is killing brick and mortar (along with all those retail jobs), this company is still horrible. There customer service is a joke. Fraud runs rampant now. I'm a savvy shopper and still got scammed twice in the last few months.
First ordered a Nintendo Switch was charged and received a tracking number that never moved. It took Amazon far too long to refund the obvious scam. Second time I got a fake 200 GB SanDisk micro SD card. It looked like a legit 200 GB card, but was just blank plastic on the backside and was actually only an 8 GB card. Again Amazon was slow to refund and amazingly didn't even close down the scam sellers account.
I then received an Amazon gift card as a gift from my aunt that had a zero balance on it when I tried to use it. Amazons response was basically too bad so sad. They said, "It appears someone other than the intended recipient used the gift card. We cannot offer a refund." Gee that's nice, and when I asked who used the card they said that info is private. They admit the card was fraudulently used, but then hide who did it and do no further investigation. No wonder scams run rampant on Amazon, their rules literally promote scammers.
That was the final straw, I cancelled a huge Christmas order I had placed as well as my Prime membership. The funny thing is Amazon actually isn't always the cheapest, they've just brainwashed us all into thinking it.
I ended up becoming a Gamers Club Member at Best Buy and reordered all the Christmas stuff even cheaper than it was from Amazon and felt good supporting a brick and mortar store and the sales associates who depend on that job.
Amazon is a horrible company that is getting so big they believe they don't have to care about anyone. Stop supporting this company, or in the future we will all be forced to work for Amazon and buy from Amazon, as they will have fulfilled their evil plan and put all brick and mortar stores out of business.

Always get my things on time. I even tried Amazon Fresh and loved it as well. But what I like the most is that there customer service is great.

Does easy ordering and getting stuff in a timely fashion sounds good to you... have ordered hundreds of products over the years and continue to love and use amazon for 80% of my on-line shopping. On the rare occasion when I encounter an issue, it is always handled in a professional manner an to my satisfaction.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I have only ordered twice, but both have been great experiences. Granted, not everything on their site is a good deal, but toilet paper, laundry aids, and soap have been great purchases for me. I have also purchased some bakeware that I was very pleased with.
Have only used on occasion but the few times that i have great service, prices and super fast shipping has been all that i have experienced.

As a prime member shipping overnight is incredibly cheap and I procrastinate on buying things until the last minute.
Prime. Prime is the best thing I have ever purchased on Amazon, and comes with free movies. Not all of the movies are also on netflix. It's a great deal and I save so much in shipping.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
