Have always been happy with shopping experience, superior customer service.
I love Amazon, have a Prime membership, and order from them constantly. I've never had a problem receiving anything when it came directly from them. If something is shipped by another seller, I have had to check up on an order before, but still always got it and was happy with it.
Definitely worth a visit!
Have been a prime member for years, LOVE LOVE LOVE AMAZON! I think I have ordered probably 100 plus times from them and only 2 extremely minor issues ever, 1 item was not as pictured and phoned, they immediately corrected the issue with very little hassle on my end on returning the item, and the other was very forgivable and really my fault for procrastinating, waiting til last minute to do Christmas Shopping. Ordered two day shipping at Christmas time and parcel was late due to a UPS meltdown but arrived one business day late... Prime membership is expensive but if you utilize the option to add 3 family members to your prime account (I think it is 3 or 4) and divide the amount of the membership between all, it is well worth the price and convenience of shopping online with extremely fast delivery!
I'm a prime member and although not super excited about the price going up on me next year, I can say that prime membership has helped me with saving money for the types of things I buy and the online activities my daughter does on her Kindle. She gets to borrow books to read and watch free movies. I don't pay shipping for my orders and I get quality service. This is my go to spot when I begin research on buying something and comparative pricing.
PROS:
It is a legitimate multi-national business offering great quality goods and fast delivery.
CON:
Does not accept Paypal or Skrill (previously known as Moneybookers)
I was able to charge an iPhone 4s and 3G with this cable at amazon.com. Looks very similar to the factory cable. I was able to sync my iPhones to my PC. So far no issues. Would recommend.
Always find what I want and usually cheaper than ebay by a little bit but sometimes they get you on shipping charges, you need to watch that closely.
I love Amazon! I buy from Amazon frequently and have bought everything from school books, to Christmas gifts to electronics. All my items have been sent very quickly and arrived in good condition. I found Amazon to be a student's dream site, because if you know the ISBN number of a textbook you can order it on Amazon for often less than half price. Amazon features many name brand items and you can even find items which are discontinued or rare. What I like the most about Amazon instead of Ebay is that Amazon isn't a bidding site, reasonable prices are posted and when you like an item you can buy it right away, no waiting for an auction to end. I will continue to buy from Amazon on a frequent basis.
Amazing customer service and a great selection. There's a reason I've been shopping on Amazon.com for nearly 10 years. You can't go wrong with Amazon Prime - two-day shipping and an excellent return policy. Just be sure to pick Amazon as your seller!
I almost wish I had something negative to say about amazon but I don't. I have purchased from them over the past several years and have never been dissatisfied, and on the occasion I had to return an item, the transaction was as easy as the purchase. Over the years I've seen their ship time improve greatly with regional warehouses and fast shipping. I have to say their pricing us great and their customer product reviews invaluable to the shopping experience... consider me brick and motor no more!
I have been an Amazon Prime member for 4 years... this is the most valuable service of any website out there... my membership has payed for its self in free shipping 4 fold... way to go Bezos!
I'm such an amazon junkie. I buy everything from books to supplements to food to clothing from them. A Prime membership also gets you streaming video, and it's cheaper than Netflix, without even getting into the shipping benefits. The only downside is that they are taking over the world and I am entirely complicit in that. So, there's the guilt thing. But honestly for price and convenience, you can't do better.
Whether you're looking for deodorant to a whiteboard (my most recent purchase), they most likely have it in stock. What I had a problem with regarding my last purchase was the time it took not to be delivered, but just to be shipped from the location of origin. It took over two weeks just to get confirmation that it "shipped", which in turn means it took another week to get to me. While I've had amazing service from Amazon in the past, this last one was just average.
Always great products, great prices, and fast shipping... and I don't even use Amazon Prime. Anything that is shipped via Amazon warehouse is speedy as can be.
I spend a lot of $ here, and regret none of it. I just wish they'd mediate some of their sales through other companies a little better, so anymore i try to buy straight through amazon, because they are always great.
OMG, I love Amazon! They advertise themselves as having "Earth's biggest selection," a distinction that only its competitor, eBay, comes close to challenging. You can find a wealth of things. Really.
No more than half of Amazon's inventory is in stock at one time, but they are always striving for some availability. You can tell they really want you to get what you're looking for.
Only thing is, they're not so good for things that have long been out of print. If you want something like that, try Googling "rare (insert category here)."
Great site, Amazon has so many things that I can't find locally at times.
I'm an avid reader. Amazon is the very best source for the best buys on books.
You can find just about anything on Amazon, and usually at a very good price. The threshold for free shipping did go up from a $25 to a $35 purchase, but this is still a good deal, and I can usually fill out an order up to $35 with little trouble (you know... because they sell just about everything). The customer reviews are very helpful, and the layout of the site in general is terrific. But the best thing about Amazon is their customer service. It is very quick & easy to access, and they are great at fixing just about any problem you encounter.
Trust me, Bro, this website is fine. You'll be okay with their orders, but some won't actually show on your balance sometimes if you are using a credit card or debit. Now it may be your card in general, but I remember their was a case in which I ordered items and my balance was still there, which should have been an empty balance.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
