Once after I stopped purchasing the products from eBay. I started to get those from this service. I normally get books from amazon. And they are usually about 75% cheaper than the new ones. I really like this service.
I buy many things on amazon, the latest was a new camera. I am really happy with my camera, but I ended up buying some accessories I didn't need. I wish the recommendations of what to buy with something were a bit better.
Overall I am really happy with Amazon and would buy from them again, however if it is an Amazon merchant I prefer to purchase directly through them because many times there are items on their site not available on Amazon.
Ive never owned an apple slicer. Until now! And boy I had no idea what I was missing out on. The Apple Slicer plus free garlic peeler is the bomb digty bomb! My kids and I had a blast using it to slice and core our apples. Its super fast and easy. Just stand the apple up, put the apple slicer on top of the apple and push down. And waaalllllaaaa, your apples are sliced and de-cored. Brilliant! You will need to push down with a little force, (the handles are sturdy and comfortable to grab on to), and keep in mind the blades are super sharp, so once you get started the apple has no chance. I used a curved paper plate, so I turned my slicer upside down and just poked out the slices and core. Rinsed it off and stored it in the nice bag it came with. How cool is this! This is a must have kitchen gadget. My kids had fun using it to cut their apples, (by the way, I had no arguing over who was getting a bigger slice of apple since this cuts evenly) and I had fun cutting my work in half! If there was anything Id change about this product it would be to include directions. The free garlic peeler that came with this; I have not used yet since I am not sure how to use this product.
After testing this product, its awesome and this apple slicer belongs in every kitchen, especially if you like apples.
I just received a shipment from amazon.com for my hair and I'm extremely pleased with it.It's a product for dandruff and scalp treatment by Glover's which is working quite well. I'm mixing this product with Monistat 7 for hair growth... I will do an update and post pictures real soon. Yes, I will order again.
They lost one of my packages, and refunded my money and sent me a new one. Need I say more?
This is a great company to do business with. I use them to ship diapers to my stepdaughter in another state. On the couple of occasions I have had issues (and one was partly my fault, to be honest) their customer service people have been friendly and helpful.
My rating for Amazon is actually 4.5 stars only because you are fined the shipping cost if Amazon cannot replace the item and you have to return it. Otherwise, Amazon has great service. WHen something did not work, I got a replacement within one week.
Recently, Amazon's prices have changed very fast. In two cases, the prices went up as I was still shopping so that my 15% savings for Subscribe and Save still ended up being a 5% savings despite the fact that I did subscribe 5 items. So be careful about the subscribe and save aspect because it felt a little it like bait and switch to me. For convenience however, it was still worth buying.
Have been an Amazon.com customer for many years and have purchased a large variety of items. Very fair, straight forward. No issues (which is a good thing)! This company maybe big yet they obviously have a great staff of employees at all levels - it really shows! I am so frustrated ordering from others with poor customer service and poor policies, I just keep coming back to Amazon!
Amazon.com is a great site to shop and when you do (especially if you do it often), get the Prime membership. The annual price is about $70.00, however that is totally worth it - you get a free and fast (1-2 days) shipping on most of the items sold. Why not 5 stars?. My stuff has been lost in the mail on several occasions and I think once or twice Amazon customer care completely disregarded my early cancellation requests (that was before the items were shipped). Can't let THAT one go! Lol
Soap.com offers very poor customer service. I decided to give them a try and placed an order. During the checkout process they offer the option of paying with and choosing a shipping address from your Amazon account which I did. Great idea right? Wrong, as their system apparently cannot comprehend shipping addresses as they are listed on Amazon. I received an email stating they had canceled my order because the shipping address was in the "wrong format." After reading the email I checked and sure enough they had already processed the charge for the (now cancelled) order. When I checked I was told they would process a refund in 3-5 business days. Excuse me? They cancel my order because they cannot comprehend the address and they expect to have free use of my $$ for 3-5 business days?
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS VENDOR UNLESS YOU ARE WILING TO TOLERATE VERY POOR SERVICE!
I have purchased from Amazon multiple times. I have always had a good experience as I have received the product that I ordered.
It often takes a week or two to arrive, but it's always been in good condition and as described. I mostly purchase books for homeschooling as well as hard to find books.
In my opinion, this is a great resource for the homeschooling family as curriculum can be purchased at a fraction of the price while still receiving good quality materials.
I have created an account to sell on Amazon, but have never used it. Mainly because I do not find it user friendly for the seller. I prefer to sell my used curriculum on Ebay.
Amazon is the best online shopping for anything! They have great prices, and for a little bit extra you can get free shipping on almost everything. I would recommend this site to anyone!

Their call center is obviously in India, and they even give their employees western first names, but it is tough to get someone who is truly fluent in English.
If something goes wrong with your order, it is hard to find where to contact someone.

Till date( i. E 14th july) I didn't received my consignment except their mailers about the shipment tracking/ status.
Amazon allows someone using my credit card numbers to open an account and go shopping spree.My credit card and billing /shipping address was in their file. They did not even to verify before shipping items. I had noticed and called them so they close the account. I ended up with charges and dispute the card company. Whether it has deals etc.if the merchandise allows any credit card without verifing, that merchandise is no longer trustable.
I live in Florida, all my family & a good portion of my friends live in Pennsylvania so I thought with the free shipping of anything off my registry would be perfect. Wrong! Not worth the frustration of receiving an email almost every week stating "Sorry, one of your registry items has been discontinued." I've gotten 10 of these emails. After #7 I wrote them asking what the deal was & their response was to explain to me why things are discontinued (yet they never took those items off their website). Which brings me to something else, the one thing that Actually is Discontinued by the manufacturer for safety issues (it was on the news that's how I found out) They Still Have On Their Wedsite! It's the Graco SnugRide, by the way. Then I get another email in response from someone else saying that NONE of the items that I received emails for are discontinued just LOW INVENTORY! Seriously? Don't they know how long it takes for parents to research each type of item to find the best one for the best price? No they don't, I asked. They don't even suggest other items close to or replacing these so called discontinued items. Nor are they "trained or qualified to make any suggestions". To top it all off, I receive today an email stating:
"This is a one-time notification that you requested from Diapers.com. You wanted to order the Playtex Drop-Ins Premium Designer Nurser - 10 oz - 3 Pk but it was not available. It's back in stock and ready for you to purchase. Just click on the link below to buy it now."
I never requested to buy this item I just wanted in on my registry but they said it was discontinued!
I'm so done, deleting my registry account. Not worth it it at all.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
