Twice now in 2 yrs I have had my amazon card number higacked by some hacker when shoping online with it at amazon.com. Had to cancel card an get another.

I have been using Amazon for years. Never had any serious issues and when there have been errors such as them sending the wrong item their customer service has been faultless.
As long as it's AMazon handling the order. With third parties sometimes the delivery may be delayed or rarely damaged. But, Amazon stands behind everything and I've always gotten a replacement or a refund with absolutely no problem from Amazon. In the last six months I've placed more than 105 orders with Amazon. I am a shutin so I get all my groceries from Prime Pantry. Merchants who use Prime shipping add to the price to make up for it but it still comes in two days.
I am a satisfied Prime Member. I order everything not is not alive from here... and my husband finds parts for our high end and often broken appliances on Amazon... it is just so easy... and you can send gifts directly to the recipients... I love my free Prime Videos... I love my books on my Kindle... I love free Washington Post... and I love most of all not having to get out in Dallas traffic to hunt some odd little item when I can just search, click and done...

I have been shopping for years with this company. They provide accurate information, good pricing, great customer reviews and excellent customer service. The few times that I had a product problem they have responded quickly, and even though I may not have been completely satisfied, it was always a fair resolution.
Amazon is almost flawless for me. I'm a prime member. Prime is definitely worth it, since I order for business and family roughly three times per week.
I love the fast shipping and ready availability. Their prices are usually very competitive as well.

Ok guys, so I baught some stuff from here I would say maybe 3weeks ago. And let me you this:
Before looking into this site, I highly recommend you guys go look around in actual stores. Please don't be lazy. Go out there and compare the prices. I made that huge mistake.

I got this cleansing machine from (OLAY) 15$
And at BIG LOTS 6.50$ ext... I won't get into more details, but going back to my point. Look around because these people are ripping you of!
I will never buy from here again. Just go out and look around. Better than over spending on stuff that is half prices other places.

But contacting the customer support is a bit problematic, the information is hidden in some complex path on their site.
Also for many products the tracking information is not available on their page with the order information. After roaming here and there and going through some unknown paths had to find out the tracking information. It should be upfront available.
Hard to imagine anyone hasn't shopped online at Amazon.com because they have almost EVERYTHING there. I have made hundreds of purchases at Amazon and never had a disappointment of any significance.
I go to Amazon first when shopping for anything. Its unusual for me to not find several choices of whatever it is I am looking for. Its helpful to have a record of all my online purchases in one place and Amazon makes returns easy. There return policy is limited to 30 days, but if you have any problem at all with a product, they pay for the shipping by sending you a return postage stamp. If your return is your fault, you must pay the return shipping. All of this can be done online, but if you need to speak with someone you can do so via chat, email or a phone call. My experience has been that their customer service reps are excellent... well trained, proactive, considerate, and clearly "on your side".
I am a Amazon Prime member, which means I pay about $80 a year to get free two-day shipping on my purchases. Not all products are available for Prime, but its been rare for me to pay shipping and I almost always enjoy my purchases in two days or less. Prime also provides other perks, like thousands of streaming videos and TV shows, free music downloads, and free Kindle books. I have been a Prime member for several years and its well worth it for me BECAUSE I AM A FREQUENT SHOPPER.
Amazon has a robust review system. Many items have hundreds of reviews and Amazon uses a "verified buyer" system to help you validate what you're seeing. Its easy to sort and read through their reviews.
I ALMOST gave Amazon a 4 and not a 5 is because sometimes their prices are way notably higher than other places, even when compensating for the free shipping. Sometimes their prices are less than other smaller boutiques or stores, but the vast majority of the time they are comparable. After looking at the summary below where I gave them five stars in 4 of 5 categories, I figured a 5 would best represent my overall experience.
For me, the value Amazon provides is worth an extra few dollars every now and then. I know they will stand behind my purchases, that customer service will be accessible and of high quality (this is critical to me as a customer experience professional), that I will get my stuff when its promised, and that it will be easy to track my purchases down the line.
Do beware that other sellers use Amazon to sell. I have done so myself and they have a strong system to enforce quality control. With that said, I am always careful to determine whether I am buying from Amazon, an Amazon re-seller or another entity all together. Some re-sellers have their own return and shipping policies, so be sure to check this out. I tend to stick with the sellers backed by Amazon's policies, however, on many occasions I have used other re-sellers and have never had a problem.
Did you know that when you go to smile.amazon.com and name your favorite charity that Amazon will contribute to that charity every time you make a purchase? Not many people do. I try to spread the word by sending notifications on my FB page when I make a purchase.
It is so easy to do. Just type in your browser smile. Amazon com instead of Amazon.com and make a difference in the lives of others.
Ask yourself what other company does this for others? None that I know of.

I bought a book from Amazon online to give my daughter as a gift. This book was shipped to a wrong address. Finally, they gave me aa refund for the book but no refund for shipping. I am a 5- star customer with E-Bay. This is my first time with Amazon and they disappointed me. I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH AMAZON AGAIN AS LONG AS I LVE.
If I need a hinky item, I find it and it ships right away and get tracking info right away.

Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
