Usually before I look anywhere I look on Amazon and generally speaking they have what I need and for a great price and it always comes in a reasonable time frame!
I've been using Amazon for years now and have purchased well over 100 items. I had two returna and both webt flawlessly. The ONLY downfall is the fact Amazon has many sellers, many of which are deceiving in many ways. Simply pay attention to the seller info and FULL description and you shoukd never run into issues.
I've used Amazon for quite a few years now and I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed in any of their services from buying goods to audio books they are great all except one. Amazon Prime used to be good but now it seems that any really good films have to be paid for on top of the monthly fee!
I love, love, love Amazon. Their prices aren't always the lowest, but there's more to buying than price. For me, good service is worth some extra money and in my experience, few companies out there match the service provided by Amazon. Easy to use, easy to resolve issues and they actually care. Amazon is my first stop for shopping online and they are typically my only stop.
First let me start by saying, I LOVE LOVE LOVE amazon. Always have had excellent customer service and the products are almost always what you pay for. The only issue I have is with the merchants that seem to take their sweet time shipping things that are not Prime items. I've waited up to a week for an item to even ship, and I personally find that ridiculous. I always try to buy items with the "prime" logo, that way I know exactly when my items are coming. Overall though, thrilled with this site

Pay the money and get Amazon Prime (AP) it is worth it and worth changing your shopping habits to take advantage of free shipping. Most of time it is not worth buying online because the shipping charges eat up all the savings. This dynamic is changed with AP. Now you can buy a $3 item and save your gas and time to go looking for it... AND you get Amazon's version of Netflix at no additional charge! You can either keep your Netflix and have access to even more movies online or just go with the Amazon service and save money. I have kids so all of us use it and this multiples the savings and convenience.
I've been shopping Amazon for years. I prefer online shopping for my purchases because of the huge selection. I don't have the time or desire to spend days or weeks going to dozens of stores to find the item I want. At Amazon all I have to do is plug in an idea and I can find hundreds of options.
I have never had a bad experience except that a order did not arrive in time for Christmas and I paid for it to. However they did refund my shipping amount but they had said they would give you a $25 gift certificate but I did not receive it. I was pleased to receive the refund of my shipping. Other than that I love Amazon.

It is amazing that I can find just about anything at this one place.
The prices are usually below what the original seller has on their own website. Amazon has ALWAYS made good on any warranty issues, which are few. They even create a return slip with a pickup order right from your own computer immediately.
Even though it should be noted that working conditions in their warehouses are primitive and violate half a dozen regulations.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
