Amazon is a great site to shop on. I have made purchases from many different sellers and only encountered one issue with a seller, but Amazon helped me resolve the issue. I will continue to shop on Amazon and would recommend it to others.
Have been very pleased with Amazon as both a buyer and a seller. As a buyer they get what you ordered at the price that was advertised. Shipping is no hassle.
One issue that I have run into is when an item is no longer made by a manufacturer. Amazon sometimes will advertise the replacement item using the product description for the old product. If you want the replacement product fine. But, if the replacement product is inferior to the original you will have a problem. Sellers run into the same problem. They aren't given the means to advertise the new product. They have to advertise the replacement item using the old item description.
As a seller they hold you to selling a quality product and making sure you get it shipped on time. You must also provide a way for the customer to track their order.
The complaints I have with them as a seller is that it can be a nightmare to get all of your information on the correct screens. The screens aren't the most user-friendly. And if you don't get all of your information down you won't be paid in a timely manner.
Ordered many times from this vendor and never disappointed. Quick and quite often free shipping, quality products just as described. I always look here for anything i need to purchase
Amazon delivers the role the shopping mall played 10-20 years ago. They have great product, pricing and service as well a variety of items not seen anywhere else. The convenience of not having to travel to shop is also a real bonus
I'm going to place the blame for Audible's rotten service and sloppily coded website to the REAL culprits. Amazon has been doing the same sort of economic cannibalism that seems to afflict most of Corporate America. They don't compete, they EAT their competition. Then leave we the people to deal with the residue.
I studiously avoid buying anything from Amazon and so should anyone who cares about what's wrong with our economy.
Choice is power. When our choices disappear we get monopolies charging whatever they please and ignoring any legitimate complaint or just humouring the complainants so they'll go away.
I don't care who's doing it. It's bad for us in the near and far term.
I don't care how rich it's made Mr. Bezos. He's still one of our Public Enemies in economic terms.

I'm sure that it's been said time and again, but this is really my "go to" shopping site online. If I can't find it anywhere else, it's usually on Amazon. I've never had a problem with any of my orders, and they always arrive on time, or even way before the deadline! I've gotten some amazing deals as well- I found a pair of Badgley Mischka shoes for only $75 (real too- I had them authenticated)! I basically would never leave my house again with Amazon- (not really, but I kind of could). Love, love, love!

I prefer to shop with Prime items, but sometimes I shop the third party listings. I really like the reviews for each item AND that I can ask a question. I asked a question yesterday, and it was answered in less than 30 minutes. I'm an Amazon junkie!
They have so many products - if you can't find it - go to Amazon! Chances are - they will have it!
Do not support this company. I went to prchase two Recaro booster seats from this company in order to take advantage of their 15% off new customer promotion. When I called to ask how to apply this promotion to the order they claimed the seat was already on sale so no first time customer discount was available. The seat was already 10.00 cheaper on Amazon so I decided to go there instead. Diapers.com then told me it was Googles fault for not having an up to date ad for the company. What a joke. Spend your money elsewhere.
Amazon is almost always great! Good service, follow through is top notch and I can trust them to make something right. Great product selection, quick shipping and reputation you can trust = one of my very favorites!

This company has scammed me $206 for a dress whose sleeves were way to small to fit an arm through. I have sent pictures and emails for months, They will not send a refund or help at all. Say to "put forth effort to push my arms through" Horrible company.
Amazon is so easy to spend money on. They have really solid Customer Support and okay services for Prime members. I'd love to see more Prime originals in their streaming media service.
One of the few websites that actually let you criticize their products and service. But if you sell on their website they are not very forgiving. I accidentally advertised I had two items when I only had one. From now on I am banned from ever selling again on Amazon. But other then Amazon is excellent.
I purchased a wedding dress from here and it was horrible! They said they would return the dress before I purchased it if I didn't like it. I only had to send pictures, which I did. They kept going back and forth with me saying how beautiful I looked in the dress and I should just keep it. So long story short, I didn't wear the horrific dress and wasted $150!

Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
