I have been completely satisfied with all my Amazon purchase experiences. When I have been unhappy with a specific purchase, Amazon has been wonderful about authorizing a refund and paying the return shipping charges. My only complaint is with the book ordering. They have stopped offering a discount for pre-orders of some books. That just means I go elsewhere for those books. Otherwise, I love Amazon's promptness, service, and reliability.

Recently I am very disappointed with Amazon. Not sure but they are really hard to deal with. They remove reviews without warning. They drop listings when they made a mistake but never take responsibility
I have found many items and e-book here! It me a lot. They have also a good quality of service.
This is a great site, since Grandkids can send a link as to what they want, and then it can be shipped directly to them... so it has been a God sent. Have never any problems and would use them whenever the need occurs.
Often don't like the price of their shipping... and look forward to the day it can be free as it is on other sites.
Amazon usually does things right the first time. However recently my husband ordered a grooming arm for my dog grooming table which was supposed to come with a clamp. The clamp was missing. I didn't pay attention because I have a shorter arm that has the same clamp, so I just used that. When I realized my new dog is going to need both arms for grooming I asked him to order me a clamp and he said "didn't the new one come with a clamp? It was supposed to!" So sure enough, it was, and we had to file a request for a replacement. The thing is, all the seller would have had to do is send us the clamp. But instead the Amazon return/exchange process wasted money by sending us a whole new one and shipping the one with missing parts back. Why? If this is how Amazon is doing things it is totally wasting people's money. Sure it didn't cost me and didn't inconvenience me except that they showed up to pick up the one I already had, two days before the replacement came, and we said no, you have to bring us the replacement first! But the cost for all this extra freight from such an odd process goes into the system and applies to prices across the board. Just send me the parts I need from one you already have, and defect THAT one of yours out. There has to be a way to eliminate waste there.

Love being able to read other customer's reviews to convince me whether or not a product is worth the money. Also the questions that customers ask are very helpful. Can't get that while shopping in a store when you are wondering whether or not to buy something. Also if something is wrong with the product Amazon makes it so easy to be able to return it. No issues ever from this loyal customer!
I have never been much for shopping online. However lately I have needed a few products I just could not find. Someone suggested I search Amazon....WOW..is all I can say. Who knew..I found a selection of choices that were great! Prices cheaper than stores and if over a certian price you even get free shipping! Love Amazon. As a general rule, I "Window Shop"@ the brick & Morter stores, then go on line to actually shop for my items, without dealing with the Anacondas(State sales Tax,& Shipping) the 2 items that "Squezze our wallets! If you want the privellage of doing business with me, than the seller "Eats" the cost of Taxes & Shipping PERIOD!... I have to say I've had exceptional experiance dealing with Amazon!

Amazon, especially with Prime Membership, is far and away the best overall online store. The selection is unmatched, and the prices are almost always the best you can find, or very close to it. Prime is worth it for the free 2nd-busines-day shipping. I do not use other Prime services like music or Amazon Video or anything else. If Amazon raises the price of Prime Membership significantly, then I would have to decline, particularly if their justification is all the added Prime features that I do not use. Otherwise, I cannot rate this store lower than any other I've come across, ever.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
