What I hate most about Amazon's site is how hard it is to get product information. I often leave to get the details and often don't return. I'm also becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the business practices and data collection. Less inclined to use Amazon than I was.
I purchase and have purchased many items from Amzon on a weekly basis, I am a Prime member, and have done most of my shopping through Amazon due to their past return policy. I did not realize that Amazon Prime orders had a strict 30 day return policy now. I purchased three pairs of shoes through Amazon Prime and they did not arrive in time for me to take on my trip. When I arrived back from my trip, the shoes were not returnable even though they did not arrive on time to be useful to me. In the future, I will not buy ANYTHING that I have to try on or that I am planning to take on a trip through Amazon. You cannot count on the Prime shipping and with the 30 day policy, I am better off going through a Department Store like Macy's that will give me a full refund or store credit ANYTIME after purchase.
I have made about 10 purchases on Amazon.com and no problems encountered. All items were as described and arrived to my home on time. Best prices I could find on the internet. Really fast shipping. Very friendly user interface and easy to navigate website, so I'm happy to recommend.

I usually find something I like, and then go to Amazon to see if they have it and they usually do, cheaper, and with Prime, free shipping to boot.

Advertises specials that they are "out of stock" on. Free car seat with purchase of stroller. But when you order the deal, they are suddenly "Out of stock" and can't give you the deal even though it's still advertised on their website: diapers.com. Look at ripoff report. They are not a good company to do business with.
They don't use reputable carriers consistently. My first order; the product was mailed in it's box (not put into a shipping box) with no tape and it was damaged as well as the product. It arrived in an unmarked van by someone without a uniform and left in front of the wrong house but on the correct property. Had to go through the trouble of sending it back and getting another... Too much hassle. I'll buy direct from manufacturer next time.

Amazon is my favorite website for online shopping. The prices are always the best and the speed of delivery is amazing. Sometimes they can even deliver the order next day. The returns are also no hustle. I totally recommend Amazon for any type of online shopping!

I buy mostly e-books from Amazon to my kindle. It is so easy and I have my books almost instantly and then sync them onto my iPad. It is great to have auto email confirmation of what I have bought. I love the fact that Amazon tells you if you have already bought the book previously, so you don't inadvertently buy it twice! Thanks heaps.
Amazon is a great place to shop. I find books, music, candy and cookies, coffee if you need it you can find it and most of the time it ships for free. What a Deal.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
