I have purchased many things from Amazon from books to electronics. Not all of the vendors are reliable but for the most part I have had pretty good results with this site. Whenever I did have a problem with an outside vendor, Amazon would investigate and work with me to resolve the problem, even reimbursing me for the money I was owed from a related vendor. I would definitely recommend Amazon.

Amazon has been great! Unlike EBay and PayPal which I will NO LONGER use, Amazon has great customer service and stands behind what they sell.
I ordered a laptop and I was scammed by the person b/c they stole my gift card code but amazon did give me the $500 back to my account after a couple of agents but do your research when purchasing from third-party sellers through Amazon there are no regulations for them to follow and they know Amazon does not manage their gift cards well so they will try to get your money but thank you for my research and Amazon rectifying the situation

Buy many things from Amazon... you name it, over the last eight years I've bought from Amazon. I have a Prime Membership so most things ship in two days. If I've ever had a problem, they are right on it. I buy many used books through Amazon... which I should buy from the local bookstore, but they are sooooo much cheaper on Amazon. Love picking where, who, and how much I want to pay. Very pleased and satisfied with Amazon.

I am a member of Amazon prime and I have had the privilege of purchasing items from them all the time. I have bought numerous things and they always get delivered to me. One time I had something delivered but was gone when it came so the postal carrier stuck it in my door and somebody came along and stole it. (I later was able to recover some of the items) as somebody decided to return my package opened and some of the contents missing. Amazon when they got wind of my missing package sent me something in replacement. That has been my experience with them and I am sure glad that they were willing to help me like that. I will buy more stuff from them as a matter of fact. That's how much I appreciate their thoughtfulness and help under the circumstances and it was through no fault of their own doing. Thanks Amazon for taking care of me!

Amazon seems to have everything in stock, for a price. Whilst there are excellent deals on Amazon you really have to be on your toes. Not all Amazon prices are the best. Always check the item and see if you can get a better deal from another vendor,
Their check out is a breeze. Once registered it takes just a couple of clicks and your item is on its way. They will also send item if one of your ordered items is not in stock. The balance of your order will arrive later but no extra charge for shipping.
Love Amazon Prime. I joined less than a month ago and have already made back the $99 a year in shipping alone. Unless backordered, I always receive my merchandise within 2 days. I will be doing all of my Christmas shopping on Amazon Prime this year and have it sent directly to the recipient.

As somebody who only purchases items from Amazon themselves (no third party sellers), I am disapointed with the amount of counterfeit items i have received. Do yourself a favor, and buy things that are easily counterfeit ( phone cases, sd cards, earbuds etc) in person.
I purchased three Speck branded phone cases from amazon. They were of decent construction, but two of them cracked after being dropped from about knee height. I sent them back to speck because they were supposed to be under warranty. Speck called me and told me to send them back to who i bought them from because they were fakes. Its funny, Amazon would not take them back. Their reasoning? They do not allow returns on counterfeit goods.
I purchase many things from amazon. My experience with counterfeits has not soured my overall experience with Amazon. I just caution you to buy things that are easily counterfeit in person, or better yet, just buy them straight from the manufacturer.
I order for my son as well as for myself. The last order got lost at the post office and I contacted Amazon and they just resent the order with no hassle. Love their gift cards ask for those for gifts more than anything else. Will recommend to everyone. Have a friend who has become addicted to ordering now

Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
