Amazon is all about being the number one. They want to be innovators and market leaders in the e-commerce business and they do it by pressing suppliers, creating ecosystems and offering unbeatable prices. A lot of businesses are in trouble because of amazon... but that is nothing bad for me as a consumer. I get my books cheaper and with the amazon e-reader at the cheapest price possible. If some business do not want to have their products on Amazon, the y probably do not want that their product exists at all.
In my personal opinion, amazon is probably my #1 pick to order online. Sure it is cheaper at ebay buying the same product, but i rather pay that extra $ and get my item earlier. There is nothing wrong with ebay, i just prefer amazon instead due to their prompt delivery.
They work with companies that lie about their stock and do nothing to protect the consumer. There is not even a way to complain about this to them. I used to love shopping with them and now I am done.

I do almost all of my shopping online and Amazon is wonderful! I very seldom have an unsatisfactory experience and every time I have, Amazon has more than made the situation right! Every time I shop online I check Amazon before buying and 80% of the time the Amazon price is cheaper! I am a Prime member and every year it is the best money I spend. I do all my Christmas shopping for grandkids on Amazon and shipping is included in my Prime membership-that alone more than pays for the membership! If they give you a lot of problems and you return stuff that arrived broken or incorrect, they then keep calling you to warn you that they are keeping an eye on you and you may be dropped from their prime membership. The free shipping is nice but the prices are usually higher than elsewhere.

They do everything they say and more. Best Customer Service EVER! Will all they do, all they sell, and all the orders, how do they have such wonderful workers. You can find just about anything you want on Amazon. You never have to go to a store. You can even have gifts shipped directly to recipients! It is great.
Unreliable and arrogant. These words describe what United Graphics has now become. I first contracted with UGI in 2009, and I found it to be timely and honest. My most recent experience with them has proven how this company has lost its way. I was told by a customer service representative named Abell that 575 books would be shipped the first Thursday in June for next-day delivery. I even paid money to have this shipment guaranteed. The next day, she calls saying that the shipment had not gone out, claiming that a printing machine had broken, even though she said that the books were being bound two days before. I then requested that one box of 56 books be shipped for Saturday, in time for a book fair I was working that weekend. She agreed, and then gave me the UPS tracking number. When I checked ups.com that night, the next-day shipment had been incorrectly processed for Monday, not Saturday morning. UGI then insults me further by offering me a five-percent credit -- credit... as if I'm going to use them again! -- on the job. Somewhere, this company has lost its dedication to customer service, honesty, and respect for its customers. Do yourself and your project a favor and avoid this company
COULD NOT BE HAPPPPIERRRR with Amazon prime! Merchandise is EXACTLY as described... delivery is always as expected or BETTER! I ve never been disappointed... they actually omitted an item by mistake recently. When I spoke with customer service and they had it airlifted and expedited AT NO COST to me so I d have it in time for my daughter in laws baby shower! Highly recommend this sight! Wonderful selection oif items as well...

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
