I shop on Amazon all the time. You can literally find anything, they always have the lowest prices around and always have great deals. Where my life would be without this amazing site I don't want to know. I haven't tried Prime yet but I hear it's pretty awesome. Amazon, you got yourself a life time customer.
Bought item, got sent cancellation notice, said item not available then never refunded payment. Both Amazon And Daily Deals (that's the name of the book dealer on Amazon) blamed it on transmission delays. WHO CARES? Get your acts together!

They have deceptive shipping practices. They use the slowest cheapest way to ship all to make themselves money and don't care about the consumer. It's all run by middle-eastern people who can't even run the business. There are cheaper places to get DVDs. You're better off getting anything anyplace else other than Amazon. Buyer beware of Amazon.
Over the past years Amazon has been my #1 site for online shopping. Recently I have heard negative reviews concerning this company. Some may be justified, some not. I recently read a negative concerning a hotel. The customer was not happy because the desk clerk did not smile. I also feel the front desk should be friendly and welcoming, but this does not remove from the quality of the hotel. It probably means she doesn't like her job or is having a bad day. This person gave a poor rating on feeling not fact. Back to Amazon. Fact is, Amazon has always followed through with correcting the few problems I have encountered with vendors. One particular time Amazon did something which I could not believe. I was so pleased but felt they had gone way beyond the call to correct my complaint. This situation demonstrated to me, the professionalism and customer satisfaction Amazon is focused toward. I realize of the millions who order through Amazon, there will always be occasional negative issues to address and most are probably legitimate. But from my experience Amazon is still #1 online shopping site for me and my family.
Delivery via amazon prime membership 2 day delivery is not consistent. If you are ordering with the belief that you will getting your items on time, don't have the expectation. 50% of the time it doesnt come and sometimes like my order, the delivery service will scan the item as delivered so it appears to be on time and you wont get your item for another 2-3 days! Cancelling my membership when it runs out in december...
I placed the order Friday. I needed them Sat. So I even called before I ordered to make sure they would deliver by Sat. The representative said they would be delivered by Sat. I called again Sat. 3p, I have not received them yet. Representative tells me Fedex will deliver by 9p. 9p, still no diapers. I call and representative tells me there is a hold on the order because of an issue with billing address. What? You couldn't have told me that earlier? My 7 month old has no diapers left. They tell me they can deliver by Monday?! Yeah, I'll just tell my 7 month hold it until Monday. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. BEWARE
Amazon is ok for shopping but they make hard to post" for sale" items there. At least that's been my experience. Ebay is far better when it comes to posting " For Sale."
I find myself ordering more and more from Amazon because it is so quick and easy. Some items are a little higher than I would pay at Walmart, but their nearest store is 15 miles away, so I figure its woth a little more to have it delivered to my door. Orders dont always arrive on the day they say they will, but I find anything fullfilled by Amazon comes quicker, and returns are easier.

I can't even express how amazing I think Amazon is! There have been times that I needed an item quickly, and the fact that they have free 2 day shipping with prime has been a savior for me more than once. My daughter needed a dress for school picture day and there weren't any in stores that were right, so I ordered one from Amazon just three days before picture day. It came and she had a nice dress for pictures. Plus, tons of deals all the time. If you search for below $25 you will find some amazing deals. A lot of times certain sizes will be on sale, and if you just keep looking around you can find nice clothing for as little as $5. I pretty much buy everything through amazon now. The ONLY con, is that you can't use paypal.
I have used Amazon for quite a while now and have actually managed to find some good deals however there are a lot of overpriced items aswell which is down to sellers I suppose. We pay £80 a year for prime membership which is supposed to give you the advantage of free next day deliveries etc however a lot of items we have ordered are not covered by prime which is a bit of a letdown when we are paying £80 anyway so might have to cancel that.
Bought a Huawei watch from Amazon US, pay for lower shipping but as I really want to play around with the watch, finally upgraded with a shipping for US$39.3 and really come fast. The original which states around US10 did not dispatch and just keep processing. Hope they can lower the shipping next time.

I've ordered quite a bit of merchandise through Amazon over the years, and it's always been a 5-Star experience.
Easy ordering process, and the merchandise always arrives within a few days.
Prices are great, however items arrive damaged a lot. They need to pack and ship better.
Amazon.com has always been my go-to place for everything from personal products to electronics & household but the prices have become ridiculous. I realize prices have gone up everywhere on everything but even with rising prices, amazon was still the place to go a better price & selection. It makes me sad to say but NOT ANYMORE. I'm even starting to regret my Amazon Prime membership. Which by the way keeps changing to auto-renew even though I've changed it. I had turned off auto renew after the first surprise charge for prime. This is the third time they've changed back to auto renew. I buy so little amazon anymore, it's not worth the price.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
