I have been a long time customer of Amazon.com, but lately they let anyone sell even THIEVES and LAIRS. YOU CAN SEE MY REVIEW about SHOES.COM...

It has been happening on a higher frequency lately due to CHINA sellers, and companies like SHOES.COM...

Beware of these companies that are full of lairs. They have their own employees write positive feedback to outweigh all the negative feedback.

They do have a good claims department, but it has been working overtime because they are not screening their sellers very well at all. Seems like they care more about money then reputation.

There was the news about how they treat their warehouse employees.

Don't know what to think... What is all this coming to?

Obviously Amazon is huge, one of the largest internet retailers, so your not going to be able to avoid using them.

But I think they have really gone down in quality over the last few years, especially on the shipping front, when buying direct from Amazon.
They often will not even ship days before your estimated delivery time.
You apparently now have to "pay" to get fast service from amazon in the form of prime. Whereas if you instead buy from any vendor on ebay and you get fast shipping for free.

So basically, I think eBay is way better than amazon since you get fast shipping for free.

I first started using diapers.com when my first daughter was born 10 years ago. Diapers.com always delivered fast came with my first two children. Know with my youngest there is always a problem. I ordered a box if diapers and a box wipes and I only received the diapers. I contacted the company 1 week later and they said they will send me another box, It has been 2 weeks and still no wipes. I will no longer be ordering with this company. The went from 5 stars to negative 0.

Use the site wisely and find amazing deals - especially when you have 2-day prime. Amazing times we're living in haha. And if you don't want 2-day prime delivery, you can select standard shipping and get free money credited to your next purchase or an ebook or an audio book! Clever idea!

Good place for cheap furniture, household items, and LOTS of other stuff. I don't usually rec. Buying makeup from Amazon unless it is cheaper/harder to find elsewhere. Definitely DO NOT buy mascara there. Some sellers have old nearly expired mascara.

In the past year I've ordered from Amazon about 8-9 times. I must say they are very reliable and shipping is sometimes remarkably fast! One item i ordered arrived in less than 48 hours with the standard free shipping (over $35)! In almost every case I got the best price too. I'm most impressed with the availability of some items, even when most retailers were sold out! I usually check other store we sights and usually order from Amazon in the end!
