I recommend their auto-ship program for its convenience and price discount. For an online shopping site, their service is excellent: I can always get someone on the phone. The one downside is that sometimes they run out of products, and there is really no warning about when that happens... and then the dog has no food, which can necessitate an unplanned run to the pet food store.
Anybody who believes that Amazon doesn't have counterfeit vendors are in for a shock. THEY DO! I have read about Amazon's counterfeit problem but didn't want to believe it existed. I do now that I have purchased counterfeit cosmetics and a Isaac Mizrahi bag. Back in March I purchased what I thought was an Isaac Mizrahi bag. I was saving it for the summer. I received it and thought it looked nice but didn't thoroughly examine it. When I finally looked at the bag... Isaac Mizrahi does not stamp his bag in cheap gold ink. The bag wasn't even leather. By the time it was uncovered... it was too late to get refunded. I also have bought counterfeit lipsticks. I did 2 things. I went to YouTube on how to spot the fakes and it all matched up. I had a family friend who is a manager at an Ulta cosmetics store confirm this too. I would not have suspected an inexpensive makeup brand like NYX to have counterfeits buy unfortunately they do. I was refunded but that's not the point. I was going to order an Anastasia Beverly Hills contour palette at $45...$5 more than they charge at Sephora. I read at least 5 reviews that said they received a counterfeit and one person uploaded a photo of the color swatches of the real vs the fake. They are charging $5 more for a counterfeit item. Amazon has some good deals and some things are overpriced. I will still order from them but am limited to what I buy from there after reading the counterfeit reviews and experiencing this with some of their items myself.
I like Amazon, it's a cool place to purchase hard to find items, like DVD, etc., however watch out for fakes in their Sunglass offers by Authentic Sellers as they are not Authentic. Also check that Amazon is an Authorized Dealer. I purchase my Organic Skin care from Eminence and was so suprised how much cheaper it was selling on Amazon. I didn't order from Amazon as the price difference was too unreal. It turned out that Amazon is not authorized to sell Eminence skin care products, so I'd have been duped with fake products. Other than that, I love Amazon, it's great and I love Prime Membership.
Amazon always delivers exactly what is ordered, can't ask for better.
I even became a prime member! I had an issue with an order. Amazon (in my eyes) bent over backward to make sure everything went smoothly with me and the other vendor. I had an issue with another order and amazon was more than helpful to assist with the return and checked up on me to see if everything was going smoothly. Impeccable customer service.
Prime is even better when comes to delivery and I get to was some amazing shows.

I don't know what to say. I've been using Amazon for something like 15 years now. Originally I would just buy books. And even though I am more of a Nook person, I still buy Kindle books to read them on my tablet, phone or cloud reader. As a prime member I often have my stuff the next day without paying extra. Enough said!
Amazon is a fabulous site and company! Customer service is excellent! From wish lists to purchasing many many products - Amazon is great! I highly recommend!
I bought a Leatherman ******* New Wave Multi-Tool With Nylon Sheath +Leatherman 42 Piece Tool Steel Bit Kit + Removable Pocket Clip & Quick-Release Lanyard Ring + Cleaning Cloth and in the description it indicated; and the new bronze bushing makes one-handed knife access a smooth operation... what I received was the Leatherman Wave 2H, meaning 2 hands operation, not one handed. Picture did not have the 2H on the tool. Packaging was previously opened and re-taped. I destroyed the packaging and cannot return. Frustrating.
Amazon does get traffic but surely dont use them as your only channel. Theres been horror stories from large sellers. Amazon has a flawed process in place for follow up if you do get kicked off as a seller. So you fill out all this paperwork then they still turn you down to be a seller again. When I was on a buyer could open up a case for say a defective product, but he opened up 3 cases for the same product and got me kicked off because it made my defect numbers too high, So if your an Amazon seller be very careful not to make them your only distribution channel as if and when they kick you off they wont even answer your messages. To add insult to injury then they hold your money owed to you hostage for at least a month to 6 weeks before they will release it. I say avoid Amazon as they compete against their sellers as well. Did you know you cannot leave feedback for Amazon the company when you buy something direct from them? Its no surprise because they dont want you leaving them bad feedback, sounds like a double standard to me.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
