I recently buy a pair of shoe from amazon. The product is awesome just one problem is of size. I called the customer care and they are too slow to reply. It took almost 10 days to return the product and get a new one.

I was never a big one for ordering online, until I hurt my back. I needed an easy way to get items needed, and to save money wherever I could. So, I turned to Amazon. They are amazing. I can't believe the amazing customer service they have. Now a days, it is hard to get great customer service, and never from a huge company. But they have done it. I have had a couple issues over the last 4 years, but they have taken care of it to my satisfaction, and above that made me happy. I order almost all of the present I use all year long from them. I can't say enough good. I am a convert! Thank you Amazon, keep it up!
Its a World Wide Jungle of Products - there is something made for almost any requirement, problem, or need a person has. Finding that product at the price you can afford, and getting it to your front door or the location its needed in a timely fashion, is always an issue. Amazon has created a system where you can quickly search this product jungle for the items you need, at the price you can afford, and have it shipped to your front door or where its needed in a week, a few days, or overnight - with the entire product hunt only lasting minutes - and performed from your own Computer, Smart Phone or Work Station.
I buy a lot of stuff from this site, but i find more often then not the shipping is the most irritating process. Especially now that you have to buy $49 worth of stuff to get free shipping.
When you order something, i find when its free shipping, that it will often take an entire week before they get around to ordering it and sending it. I live near a hub, i should be able to get it all much faster. I'm certain they do this to make the prime look better, but i think that's over priced. Unless i'm shipping bags of cement and tires, i don't think i'll ever get to a $100 in shipping.
Another thing is the cart, while it will hold your items forever, if its out of stock, it kicks it out, i've almost forgotten to order important things because it did do that. And when it does do that, and you add it back to the cart, it may not be from the same company. It might be more money, or it may be used (as one item they sent me was).
Searching is becoming much harder, it finds things i never typed in. I would rather see - we could not find that exact item, here are some things related to it. But more times than not it will show totally random things. They use titles as keywords, and many people spam them.
They allow reviews from anyone - even people who never bought it - always make sure it says - verified, or you may be seeing a fake review.
They do have a great refund policy though, they have come through each time. But its tricky to find their contact some times.

On time, great deals, well packed, good customer service
At the beginning this site was one of the best ecommerce. Good prices, good service and wonderful customer service. But in the last couple of year it has being awful. They don't have control of their vendors anymore. Any one can sell anything and deliver when they want and they cover themselves saying that you have a month to receive the merchandise. You don't see the estimated delivery date until you are completed your purchase. Last year I was going to school and ordered a text book for a class that was starting in 2 weeks. Schools constantly change text books and don't let you know what they are using with much time. After I finished my course (a month later) I hadn't received my text book and I had to cancel my transaction with my credit card. I couldn't easily find the customer service number in the page. As I was student from an accredited university I registered for the Student Prime account, but they logged me in a trial version of Prime that expired after 3 months. When I called them they said they couldn't correct the classification of my membership until a year later so I couldn't use the benefit of being student as they advertise. Be careful with this site. Good luck.
Funny thing is that I thought it was all some sort of media blitz that this site was so great so I walk in with a very confrontational attitude. Went on the site... did my search... impressed how simple and easy which sometimes gets to be a little difficult with all the options that some sites give you. MAKE IT SIMPLE... and the pricing was great. Sold. Purchase... done. Very impressive and the pricing was excellent which is one of the best features. WINK WINK
In all the years I have shopped, I have never had a bad experience. From returns to shoes they can be trusted.

I am prime and i reecntly just bought some stuff that i paid to have overnighted./ but they missed it and i didnt get it overnight and they refunded the fee. Its messed up that i didnt have it on time, but at least they refunded it. Not bad right?
Seriously... I had no idea I hadn't rated Amazon yet! I LOVE AMAZON! My life would slow to an almost stop without it! Need a gift? Quick-- get online! Prime is a must! Must- A must I say... The Pantry is great. Always in stock- has what I want and I get it so quickly. I would give up TV instead of Amazon! Quality products, no problems, fast service and NEVER an issue! Problem? Let them know and it is taken care of by your next breath! So. Gotta go- I need some new shoes ;)
Compared with many online shopping sites, Amazon is one of the best, it always gets me surprises.
Amazon has it all, the weird, the wonderful and everything else in between. Great selection of items at very competitive prices coupled with fast delivery and now with Prime, its even faster. What more can a shopper ask for?
Been a customer for years over 50 orders in past 3 years. Not anymore when I can get the same from Amazon or Walmart. And a lot cheaper! Plus last order has yet to arrive so I am out 50 bucks because they cannot package a simple shipment of cat little so it's not damaged. FedX sent it back twice now and Wag never even told me. What a rip off. As for customer service the prices went up and customer services went off shore and really down hill! Most new reviews are not positive maybe the CEZo will catch on!

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
