Even if something goes wrong with an order Amazon does it's very best to make it right. I have had excellent experiences. I usually do my research to see how satisfied customers have had with the item vendor or representation and order if reviews are most positive. Very rarely disappointed. On the contrary have gotten some excellent deals.
Way to go Amazon... putting customer satisfaction first!:-)
I have bought many items from Amazon over the past few years. I have had no complaints over speed of delivery, quality of product, and ease of returns, exchanges, or refunds.
Fast delivery and I love the free two day shipping option :)
Amazon has been my best friend. Easy returns and excellent customer service..
AMAZON stands behind their dealers with guaranteed warranties, PRIME provides 2 day delivery, very convenient.
Amazon is a great place to get all ur needs without going to the store. But if you don't have a prime. Some shipping takes months,,, like come on
I purchased a phone for my son that became defective within 7 months. Amazon wanted to only give me a partial refund. My state has an implied warranty law, the Attorney General did a tv segment stating that no need for extended warranty, and if companies don't honor the state warranty, they are in non-compliance. It took me a while and also had to provide the law and they finally refunded the full amount.
For the most part I have had good luck, and not to many issues with needed to use refunds or replacement.
I have noticed of late the prices on some of the products are far more expensive than many brick and mortar stores, so check prices before you buy on Amazon. I still check reviews out of products I am interested in. The problem today is now they have people who get free items to review them, makes me wonder how legit the review is.
In many cases Amazon has great prices, but it does pay to check sometimes. Usually they are excellent at shipping, but given their volume, it probably won't come as a surprise that they do run into delays or problems from time to time.
I've been a member of Amazon Prime for over five years. In that time, I've NEVER had a problem with ordering, service, or the products I've purchased. I can't think of another retailer to which I can give the same recommendation.
Amazon's Seller Peformance people are acutely aware of the vast numbers of stolen/countefeit goods in the stores of primarily Chinese sellers and yet they apparently make NO changes to their procedures nor policies in order to combat this. Amazon clearly do not care about artists/designers, nor do they care about the Amazon customers ending up with poor quility rip-off products. I have been asking for a year now to have my property removed from the Amazon websites, but as soon as it is removed, it reappears. Jeff Bezos (CEO) and Adrian Garver (Designated DMCA agent) are both contacted on a daily basis by victims of Amazon 3rd Party Fraudsters.
Objects are clearly identified, along with reviews of the products. If you have Amazon Prime, postage is free and item comes very quickly. The only time this is not true is when the item comes through another vender.
You can tell a lot about a company by how they handle things when problems arise. I order from Amazon and Amazon Fresh so often that statistically problems of course arised. Aroused...
Amazon always comes through with really great customer service, refunding when necessary and even add credit to my account if they feel the problem was reallllllllly inconvenient.
Really happy w amazon. :)
Years and years of shopping on Amazon (uk, de, fr, it), always spot on: trustworthy, informative, quick, brilliant.
I've used this website for ordering diapers, groceries and toys every month for the last 5 years. My packages used to turn up on time, every time. However, over the last year or so, deliveries started to be delayed by a day and now my last 3 orders have had issues. For example, an order I placed on 9:30pm on Thursday, which was before their cut off of 10pm, was supposed to be delivered next day, Friday. It was delayed to Saturday. Thinking I was just too close to the cutoff, I placed another order on a Friday morning at 8am which was due to be delivered on Saturday. As diapers.com do not notify of a delay, I phoned and was told that it may be delayed by a day. Again! I cancelled at 11pm, went to Amazon.com and ordered the same items for free same day delivery. I used to be a loyal customer, but I can't risk my orders being delayed due to no apparent reason. You pay a little extra on diapers.com, but I liked it for the reliable delivery. Like a bad relationship, it's time to move on!
No standing in lines, no annoying unhelpful store employees. Pick what you want and it arrives at your door in a couple days. What could be better?
This case is perfect for what I need. Price is great and its not bulky at all. My other case was falling apart and it was time to get a new one. I found this on...
How can you beat free 2 day shipping? Any time I have had an issue, which has only been 2-3 times in several years, the return was very easy. I know the price is rising slightly this year... but the convenience, time savings, shipping saving, prime shows on my xbox - totally worth it.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
