We use it on a daily basis. Amazon makes shopping a pleasure. You don't have to go thru the hassle of getting dressed, driving to the store, finding a parking place & dealing with sales people (most of whom are on a commission so they worry you to death by being pushy, insistent & aggressive to make a sale & earn $$$). You have to find a dressing room, undress to try on clothing (when the dressing room is usually a mess from prior custormers use), get dressed and go to checkout where the sales person will try to get you to sign up for the store' card (when you already have Visa or Mastercard, etc). Then you have to trek back to your car and deal with traffic going home, Amazon eliminates all the above aggravation (you can sit in your "PJ's) drink your coffee, eat your snack and browse at any hour day or night, compare all your items of interest, make a decison, pay with your card, then click to complete the purchase. With Prime you get free shipping in 2-days. Usually the prices on Amazon are very competitive
I bought some shoes by post from Germany, they sent the wrong size, I returned them and asked for a replacement, again, the wrong size. Apparently they did not have the right size, so thought I would be ok with the wrong size. I tried to post a review on Amazon to point out how poor this vendor was a delivering the goods, only to have the review deleted by Amazon on the grounds it was critical. What is the point of having a review system if you cannot post critical comments?
Ordered a few things and have never been disappointed. Items have usually arrived before expected date. Website easy to navigate
Not much to say about the seriousness of Amazon in dealing with its customers, really perfect in all of view.
This is the first place I look when we need anything, except perhaps food, (although having said that, I have in the past bought pet food from Amazon). It's usually very quick on delivery, and saves trailing around shops.

Apparently Amazon.com has outsourced all of it's customer service to Asia. In the past, when I have called them, I have spoken with someone in the US. I have been a Prime Member for years. Today I got some woman in Asia babbling away in some hybrid jibberish English. I asked for her supervisor and got man in the same country. I wound up say very firmly- give me a refund now- about 6 times. I got the refund. Heads up. They are going downhill..

I purchased a Surface for my brother's birthday and apparently it was delivered to my house on a day where I had a family reunion so it is quite hard to believe I missed that. Now it has been 3 weeks apparently I am giving false information and I should take it up with the police as Amazon will not be issuing a refund nor a replacement of the items I NEVER GOT.
AMAZON is the BEST site out of all other sites. Doesn't matter what it is I need, want and even those I don't, it's available from them or another store right on this site. I like Amazon Prime and the privileges it gives you. Cant say enough good things about Amazon. I had purchased a Toshiba 620 DVD/VHS Recorder. It arrived filthy, completely unusable and broken. I contacted Amazon and they gave me the go ahead to return it to the seller for a full refund. I also contacted Ace Internet Solutions, Inc. and was assured that I would receive a refund in full, which included the return shipping that I had to pay for out of my own pocket. For some unknown reason, Amazon refused to give me the refund that I am entitled to. I contacted Amazon via email several times and by phone as well. Amazon's Customer Service agreed that since I have proof that this piece of garbage is in Ace's possession along with my money - $152.00, that I am indeed entitled to a full refund. Instead, Amazon sent me an email stating that they were not going to give me a refund. I contacted Ace many time, was repeatedly promised a refund and never received anything. I reported Ace to the BBB, the USPS Mail Order Fraud Dept. and several other consumer fraud organizations. Of course, Ace did not respond to anyone. And I am out $152.00 and no merchandise. I'm going to continue to report Ace and Amazon for mail order fraud to every organization that deals with this. I may never see my money, but I can make things miserable for both and perhaps prevent someone else from this nasty situation.

Amazon is no exception. I must say for 90% of my online shopping, Amazon is the first place I look! Admittedly I'll do a price comparison using a well-known search engine, but more often than not Amazon is the cheapest anyway!
From the range of products, to the delivery options, to the returns policy, to the awesome prices, the term 'no-brainer' comes into mind!

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
