Amazon will always side with the buyer when a seller makes bogus request for refunds. There are many horror stories about this. Some where business go under because Amazon locks their account from accessing the funds for paid customers.

I have never had such bad experience with Amazon in my life. Being a very big Amazon shopper, since their inception, I've dealt with many issues along the way that have been carefully and gracefully dealt with by their once STELLAR customer service reps providing excellent customer service. Recently, I placed an order for an item that I needed for a specific event, the item came on time, it was defective (sold and fulfilled by Amazon LLC). The customer service rep assured me that they would replace the item before my dinner party and then placed a new order for with overnight shipping at no cost also through Amazon LLC. Long story short, the item never came, turns out the rep had put an order in for the item on a 0 stock - I was never notified, and they did nothing at all to remedy their giant mistake. I was offered only to cancel my order for a full refund. We found a replacement item from a third party on Amazon for a higher price and they would not even price match the lower price I had paid for the same items sold through Amazon LLC. I will no longer be shopping with Amazon, steep steep decline in my eyes. Customer service is everything. If it is your fault, especially, you need to do something about it.
I've always rated Amazon highly. They are very professional and prompt. I've had issues with orders and I've been accommodated and assisted so efficiently. My only complaint is: as an Amazon prime member from outside of the US, the only thing I think i benefit from is the free two day shipping on prime eligible items. I can't watch prime videos, movies because of my location and I always pay the yearly subscription fee which is quite hefty. That is the only downside for me and I think it should have been rectified by now. Still love Amazon. I use Amazon for any last minute orders because I know those prime eligible items will be in my box in 2 days.
I've used amazon on three occasions and each time I was surprised at how fast I get e mails telling me where the product I ordered is at. And the product always shipped right to me that day. Love them.

An almost endless selection of music which can be made into playlists for every occasion. Once setup, you can access your Amazon Music through a wide variety of devices (TV's; computers; cellphones; tablets; etc), wherever you go. As if that were not enough, you also have access to a massive library of videos, including movies and your favorite television programs. For $99 for an entire year, it makes a wonderful gift, especially for someone who likes to shop online, enjoys music, and movies. They will use your gift year-round!
I belong to a book club and I order 2 books per month for my kindle. It's affordable and instant. I love the choice, very rarely do I not find what I need. Also love that I can see samples.
We have been Amazon customers for many years, and have never had a problem. The selection of products and services are amazing! They have upped the minimum price for free shipping over the years, but I guess that's to be expected as costs rise. However, there are still sellers on Amazon that offer free shipping, and depending on where you live, sometimes no tax. You can pay a variety of ways, get e-books instantly, and make wish lists easily. You can even order with one click if you choose to set up that option. Amazon doesn't always have the lowest prices, but often does, so check around online and even in your local stores before you order. Some businesses in your town may even price match Amazon if you ask and their policy permits it. One thing I have noticed is that prices can fluctuate wildly, sometimes even the same day, so if you find what you want at a great price you might ought to get it--it might cost more tomorrow (or less)! There is almost no category of merchandise Amazon or one of their sellers doesn't offer, so browse and refer to them often.

I used to love Amazon, until they began pushing Prime to the detriment of everyone else. I tend to order enough to escape shipping charges, and since they've got an outlet right up the road, I used to get every order before the promised dates. Now I get every order at the very last minute, at the outer range of promised dates, sometimes a day or so later. Am I not meant to complain because I'm not buying Prime? Or is this coercion?

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
