I love Amazon's Prime but a person has to be very aware of the shipping costs as well as the exchange rates when living in another country other than the USA. I also love the daily deals & watch for the monthly deals, warehouse deals, & any other specials because sometimes you can get great prices on Amazon that you will NOT get in any store. Stock up & save!

Perfection is seldom achieved and Amazon is no exception. That said I have found their site to be an effective search tool and purchases/returns are handled efficiently and quickly. When one considers the scale of their operation it really is quite amazing that it doesn't have more snafus!
Recently, I called Amazon about a $70 product I purchased that said "no returns". Maybe I should have been suspicious? Amazon customer service said, "No problem, just throw it away and we'll refund your charge". Although Amazon does not pay many of their employees a living wage, that was great customer service.

Amazon is geat if you want to buy something and just don't have time to go to a dozen stores to look for it. You can shop several suppliers, read the reviews and then have it on your front door in two days. You do have to watch though. They don't always have the best price. If you shop slot then pay to become a prime member. It will pay for I itself.

I don't know how I would get by without Amazon anymore. It is so handy to have things delivered irght to my door nowadays. I get to do my shopping form home and look at other people's reviews of products to what what issues they have had with the products so I can decide whether or not I want to buy the item. Its a fantastic resource and a wonderful time saver. There have bee a couple times where I didn't what I ordered until several weeks later and I had to write them about it. I wish they had a phone number for us old folks.
