We live outside the city core but Amazon is still able to deliver everything we need within 2 days or less. Couldn't live without this service and would be willing to pay double if we needed to. Worth every penny.

Amazon, like Google and Adobe, is trying to take over your lifestyle by moving you from a buyer to a subscriber. They are attempting to get you hooked on a regular basis so that they, I assume, can grow their companies into power house players by setting a core customer base and by having direct access to your money supply. Amazon was an excellent company, but today it's personality has changed from helping us to simply a company of self-greed. Watch out what you buy and more importantly how you are engineered to buy from Amazon. Also, don't try to communicated with them. They don't want to hear from you. If you do break through that maze and get a note to them, the response will come from India or Pakistan and not be directed at your actual question. The company is now facing competition from a few others like jet.com. But each of these has not equaled the power of the amazon Web site. When they do, they might prove to be a bit better than Amazon. But Amazon right now, owns the world and is behaving as though they own us along with it.

I love Amazon because for me in Aussie land it gives me viable access to many items that are not available here. I am disappointed that some items wont be shipped to Australia that can be bought here at an obvious large profit for local sellers, and those that can when I see the shipping cost most times I decline to make a purchase.
I have compared shipping costs and I believe to encourage aussie buyers shipping can be trimmed enormously to helps us over here buy.
Where is our open market place between long and loyal allies?

I love Amazon. Sure, you can surf all day, travel all day or walk all day to save a buck but that would be a waste of time AND money! Amazon has just about anything you want outside of buying a house or car (don't count those two out in the future) I opted for "Prime" membership. You always get free shipping and most of the time in 2-3 days delivery. Worth the price of admission. The website is secure with the highest encryption to protect your credit information. I totally recommend Amazon.

I've been buying on Amazon Prime for longer than I can remember. I am an Amazon Prime junky, it's Amazon prime or bust. If I can't find the product I'm looking for on Prime I'll find something else to buy.

The products you receive are usually as described, I always research what I want and make sure that the vast majority of reviews say what I want to hear. On the rare occasion the product doesn't meet my expectations, the product goes back and I get a refund. I've always gotten my money back on those rare occasions and those rare occasions do happen.

For the most part I get what I wanted and usually very happy with my purchase.

Never been disappointed by their shipping speed or prices. Recently, I received the wrong item instead of what I ordered, but what they sent me was worth a fair bit more money so I just kept it and ordered another! That is the ONLY time I've ever had an issue with an order. And it worked out in my favor. So hey! If you dont feel like you need to go to a physical store, you really cant go wrong with Amazon. They sell nearly everything and give killer customer service if you need it!
