I am an indie author. I have dealt with Amazon for over a year and half. Mostly a good experience. But I am frustrated by the lack of professionalism and double standards Amazon has when reviewing submitted campaign text. I don't mind my add being rejected because of grammar errors etc. I'm not that good in that department sometimes. (Or text that is sexually explicit.)
But when my add is rejected for a few words that implied affection and desire by my two main characters. I thought you have to be kidding! I did my research prior to submitting my new campaign. And checked out what other author's add text said... far worse than mine! However these particular authors were making Amazon alot of money. I'm Not! Double standards! Unprofessional!
I contacted the review team via the support comment box and I was told each campaign text is reviewed on a case by case basis. And my add was declined for its implied sexual content. Hmm so if you make Amazon loads of money you get preferential treatment. And you can say whatever you want. The sexually descriptive text I read when researching on Amazon book site was very racy. My add text far from it.
Has any one else had issues with Amazon Marketing?
I must add Support was very quick to respond to my concerns when I told them I was closing my account and I wanted my credit cards deleted. Otherwise there is no support!
I've been around a while, turning 58 soon so I'm old enough to remember when customer service was good, and we were really given "service". I haven't found any online shopping experience better than Amazon. They get it, and they won me over as a customer for life!
I had three purchases that I goofed up on by ordering the wrong thing, and they were nice enough to refund my money, and because I'm on disability they even helped with the shipping cost. Total and 5

Amazon is the great and unique site to purchase the product and i really love this place which is really original and trusable product to purchase and i really mean it is helpful site to us to purchase the product with and good service given provided from them. I have since long time experience with this site because they good quality of product which we can purchase at reasonable price and i recently purchase the 5 jeans which really awesome colour and it feels smooth while wearing and i do really recommend this website.
I am a seller. Amazon makes a ton of money off of me but they provide horrible service. I have contacted support about a dozen times. Only once did someone know the answer to my question. They have even advised me to violate Amazon policy. There is absolutely no way to file a complaint. When I demanded to know a contact, I was told to contact SHATTEL WASHINGTON. I had never heard of that town and repeatedly asked for a spelling. IT WAS SEATTLE. SHE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO PRONOUNCE THE COMPANY HEADQUARTERS!
Never known a site like it, doesnt matter what you type in the search bar, it bring's up everything but what you are looking for, after numerous times of typing in car part's, and it bringing up woolen jumper's i just gave up.
Normally everything you buy from here can be returned and they monitor the returns as well.
Prices are standard on most items, but sometimes you can get good bargains. Most items come with reviews. Books are inexpensive as well.
Amazon is the best shopping site ever, from my experience with others, they really care for their customers
I use them all the time and I am amazed at the level of service. Unlike most American companies they are just super and deliver all that they promise. My orders are processed and the product shows up on my door step when they promise. Great company success story. I remember when they were almost bankrupt.
We live in a rural area with large shopping areas hours away. Amazon is our local mall and I don't know what we would do without it. We can shop for just about anything at Amazon and have it delivered in just a couple of days. Yeah Amazon and UPS!

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
