I recently ordered two laptop bags from Amazon India but finally they delivered only one. Once I contacted them, I got to know that their vendor shipped only one, and they refunded my money. It was ok to get the money back but that was not what I wanted, I wanted 2 bags.
I am also a seller on Amazon as well as a buyer. I would do price comparisons before buying on Amazon. Most of the sellers are not businesses just regular people taking product from one marketplace to another. Overall it does not stop me from buying from the monster!

If you like to speak to a manager - expect to wait at least a half an hour on hold and for that person to be a non-native English speaker too. Shipping labels used to be free to return and now they are 1.00. Chinese retailers now selling in America. Lots of fake reviews and low quality products. You order a product and it takes a month to arrive. What is this Alibbaba and Ebay? On some items one day shipping takes four days and the company always has some kind of excuse. Former prime member - no more!

Love ordering from these guys. Orders shipped so quickly and arrive within 1-2 days. My daughter ordered a new keyboard for her computer. It arrived but was 'taken' by someone and she was so upset... she contacted Amazon. They sent a new keyboard to her at no cst. And she got it in 2 days!

True, you can find just about anything at Amazon, as well as an amazing variety of things, but shipping costs are so high, and many times you need to go through the purchasing sequences to find out what exactly the shipping charges will be. And should you want to contact the sell, you need to DIG to find their contact info!
Lately, more and more sellers aren't even in the USA, something you might not find out until after the purchase.
I wish Amazon was more transparent with providing information.

I am a prime member and very satisfied with all the benefits I get. 2-day free shipping, 1-day free shipping. I've been a more for a long time. I haven't have any bad issue with amazon.com. I highly recommend them.
AmazonPrime is a great service for us. Free two day shipping on all items sold or fulfilled by Amazon, we even get same day delivery for some select items if we order early in the day. Plus, we only need one subscription for our household.
Besides the shipping services, Prime Subscription also gives us access to Amazon Video & Amazon Music. In addition, we also get access to PrimeNow with deliveries times of 1 or 2 hours as well as restaurant deliveries.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
