I recently ordered two laptop bags from Amazon India but finally they delivered only one. Once I contacted them, I got to know that their vendor shipped only one, and they refunded my money. It was ok to get the money back but that was not what I wanted, I wanted 2 bags.

I love Amazon

I am also a seller on Amazon as well as a buyer. I would do price comparisons before buying on Amazon. Most of the sellers are not businesses just regular people taking product from one marketplace to another. Overall it does not stop me from buying from the monster!

80 - 90% CSR jobs are outsourced. People answering calls have limited English speaking ability. Hold times are higher. If you like to speak to a manager - expect to wait at least a half an hour on hold and for that person to be a non-native English speaker too. Shipping labels used to be free to return and now they are 1.00. Chinese retailers now selling in America. Lots of fake reviews and low quality products. You order a product and it takes a month to arrive. What is this Alibbaba and Ebay? On some items one day shipping takes four days and the company always has some kind of excuse. Former prime member - no more!

Love Amazon

Love ordering from these guys. Orders shipped so quickly and arrive within 1-2 days. My daughter ordered a new keyboard for her computer. It arrived but was 'taken' by someone and she was so upset... she contacted Amazon. They sent a new keyboard to her at no cst. And she got it in 2 days!

True, you can find just about anything at Amazon, as well as an amazing variety of things, but shipping costs are so high, and many times you need to go through the purchasing sequences to find out what exactly the shipping charges will be. And should you want to contact the sell, you need to DIG to find their contact info!
Lately, more and more sellers aren't even in the USA, something you might not find out until after the purchase.
I wish Amazon was more transparent with providing information.

I enjoy shopping on Amazon.com, since I'm a prime member, I get free 2 days or less shipping. They have so much inventory that I price check items on Amazon before purchasing anywhere else.

Customer service is good

I've had some problems with orders in the past, and customer service is always helpful. They will reship, price-adjust, or credit your account for shipping delays, especially if they are marked Prime and do not arrive when promised.

IF AND WHEN I HAVE HAD A PROBLEM WITH AN ITEM IT HAS BEEN RESOLVED
QUICKLY. RECENTLY I HAD ISSUES WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ORDERING
THE WRONG SIZE OF A SEAT BELT EXTENDER, I HAD NO IDEA THE WHOLE

I GOT TO TALK TO THE COMPANY AND THEY WERE GREAT, THEN I GOT A
PERSON SEEMINGLY ABOVE THE NORMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HE WAS
GREAT, FROM THEN ON IT WENT QUICKLY. THIS MAN WAS GREAT, THE
AVERAGE PERSON SAYS THEY CAN DEAL WITH THE CALL AND THEY
COULD NOT. WHEN I GOT TO THE MAN THAT HELPED ME, THERE WAS NO
HESITATION.

AmazonPrime is a great service for us. Free two day shipping on all items sold or fulfilled by Amazon, we even get same day delivery for some select items if we order early in the day. Plus, we only need one subscription for our household.

Besides the shipping services, Prime Subscription also gives us access to Amazon Video & Amazon Music. In addition, we also get access to PrimeNow with deliveries times of 1 or 2 hours as well as restaurant deliveries.

Highly recommended!

Not to mention just the above, but I'm an Amazon nut. I'm a Prime member which comes in handy for shipping and special insights on products; I love Amazon music, it doesn't limit you like iTunes. Since I love shopping online I use Amazon alot.
