Have been a customer for years. Never any issues. Prompt delivery. Haven't had to return often, but on the rare occasion have never charged S&H, unlike The Shopping Channel who even deduct GST on return items.
Whenever there is an issue with an accidental purchase or anything like it, they willing give me a refund and it goes into my account the same day. The have always helpful reviews and they do there best to make online shopping as quick and painless as possible.

Not handy at all to buy from Europe. There are tons of products that are US / North America only. The option to only show products that have a shipping to Europe or free shipping does not work properly. A lot of products with no shipping option are still shown. And sometimes the shipping costs outrageously, there should be a proper way to limit to only show shipping for under x amount.
Amazon.com also looks like it's been designed in 2001, with buttons all over the place making the site really messy.
It's nice that they allow non-Prime members to get free shipping, but I wish the limit was lower for the shipping.
It's great to sell things though, because it is more reliable for both sellers and customers. The fees are straightforward, and unlike Ebay, which has the sketchiest sellers and also charges you for fees after you are done selling an item.
I have the prime service and use it all the time. I'm not sure I'm getting the greatest price, but the convienace is excellent and the 2 day shipping prime members get is excellent. Note you must have a printer to generate return labels. Be careful of marketplace sellers or items not fulfilled by Amazon as ou may get variable service and pay shipping.

As a prime member I buy whatever I can on Amazon. Free shipping and super easy returns. If there's ever a problem it's much easier to deal with Amazon then it is to deal with random vendors. Great service.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
