The way a shopping site should work, no problems with returns but sometime you may lose some money on shipping something back an item you ordered but dont want.
Also their packaging improved and its much less wasteful
Been on amazon for years as a prime member. My kids love going on there and adding wish list items to my account. Now i know what they want for all holidays and birthdays without them even telling me. The amazon toolbar add on is nice too.
Prices are great, finding items is easy, shipping is excellent, and Amazon Prime is wonderful! Customer service is what sets one site apart from others many times, and I have had issues/problems with orders and received terrific and swift help from Amazon customer service. LOVE AMAZON!

I ordered a book on oct 15 delivery expected on nov 7 i still have not received it. Amazon not responding to any emails and they blocked all of my reviews because they only allow pisitive reviews they also refuse to give tracking info and a refund i have been a loyal customer for ten years but never again!
You can get any and everything on Amazon. It's so convenient! Inaturally I was happy to have the ability to order groceries. But those green containers they deliver them in are... annoying. By my 2nd delivery I have 8 9f them. I called to ask how they retrieved them and I was told "they would pick them up when they brought 2nd delivery", but that delivery person said he didn't pick them up, someone else would. So I called, and with a heartfelt apology the customer service representative said she would have someone pick them up in 2 days. Lol A week later I called and I was told to just leave them out by the mailbox. Well, good riddens big Green containers. I'm not sure what company delivers the products but they will leave them, drop them over the fence and they never require a signature. I'll still shop on amazon. But not for everything anymore.
Amazon WAS great, I filled out some survey online, and then there was some kind of a Amazon promotion that was going on along the lines of getting a $100.00 voucher, I called Amazon to inquire about this, they told me it was a new program, and they also assured me that I WOULD NOT BE CHARGED $100.00 AND THEY ALSO TOLD ME IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM THAT THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT, THAT WAS A LIE! AMAZON EMPLOYS THIEVES AND LIARS AND THEY SHOULD HAVE SAID ON THE PHONE, IN THE PAST WE TOOK CARE OF YOU, BUT NOW WE ARE GOING TO SCREW YOU OVER, WHICH IS WHY I CALL THEM AWFUL AMAZON. SO I CALLED BACK I WAS EXTREMELY UPSET, MY ACCOUNT HAD BEEN CHARGED $100.00, I WAS YELLING AND SWEARING, THAT PERSON HUNG UP ON ME, THEN I CALLED AND TALKED TO ANOTHER PERSON THAT WASN'T HELPFUL AT ALL. THEN THE STUPID CHICK THAT I TALKED TO KEPT ON INTERRUPTING ME! AMAZON... YOU SUCK! AMAZON DID NOTHING TO REFUND MY MONEY, AND NOT ONLY THAT IT MADE MY ACCOUNT OVERDRAWN. When does two day shipping not mean two days shipping? It's when you're dealing with Amazon Prime Services. Apparently 2 day shipping with Amazon means we'll kinda sorta maybe get it there in 2 days. Worse is their flippant attitude when questioned about it. Getting these template responses about how they "personally" understand but can't do anything about it is insulting. Especially when they forget to change the names in the email.

Best selection, great in-stock items, cheaper than other "real world" stores + free 2-day shipping if you join Amazon Prime (believe me, I am PICKY and if I say spending $99/yr if you buy a lot online is worth it then it IS!!)!! Prime videos, Prime music, did I mention free 2-day shipping, and they even deliver groceries now! What's not to love??

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
