Always a fan of Amazon, I think I primarily use it to keep a huge wishlist of books. When ordering, it's always swift and easy, and deliveries always arrive in good shape.
I was taken by a promo, missed the fine print. Worked with customer service without waiting on hold (on Cyber Monday). I was explained the fine print and how they could handle the situation. This is always frustrating (getting got), however the customer service afterwards was outstanding. Minutes beforehand, I had the WORST experience with Walmart.com and cancelled that order even though it would have saved a couple of dollars. It was truly that bad of an experience. Therefore, the customer service I received from Amazon.com was very much appreciated! FIVE STARS FOR AMAZON, EVEN ON CYBER MONDAY! That really says something about their company being customer focused.
Absolutely love Amazon and all of the variety of products they have to offer, beware of one-click ordering without checking competitors pricing. At the same time I love their subscribe and save as the pricing usually beats any local competitor.
Customer care through Amazon direct has been exceptional. I will no longer Buy chargers, cables or cases for any technology through any third-party seller due to the crazy amount of knock-offs and subpar items on amazon.com.

My only gripe with Amazon is raising the minimum purchase for free shipping to $45. Sometimes I just want a few things that are less than that, and I don't buy them at all because of the shipping costs. Amazon's loss...
Then on the other side, the best thing ever was getting an amazon.com rewards credit card. I stopped paying cash as often, just to get more reward points, and they really add up. It is SO nice to order some things on Amazon, and then not have to pay anything at all! You cannot beat that with a stick, as they say.
Ordering things online at Amazon, at usually the best or really close price, with free shipping, is really good for me, as I really do live out in the "sticks", and it is a bit of a drive to shop for anything. I must say at least 4 plus stars!

At amazon you spend a little to get a lot. Most prrchases are free shipping or low coast shipping.The items you can buy are almost endless.

I contacted the seller through Amazon like I was supposed to but I heard nothing. Not from the seller anyway. Amazon contacted ME to find out if the issue was resolved. I explained the seller hadn't contacted me yet. Amazon immediately gave me a credit and an apology. They follow up on their stuff. I don't know how but they do. With the variety of items they have, the low prices and great customer service, I'm a very loyal customer!

Amazon has lots of stuff, and most of the time the price is at or near the best you'll find. But what really sets them apart is the customer service provided *by Amazon*. Of course, Amazon offers items from its own warehouse, but they also offer the same items from third party distributors. EVEN THEN, if there is a problem, my experience is that Amazon will take care of you. I've had to return items - Amazon paid return shipping. I've gotten items that were defective and the seller disappeared. Amazon gave me a refund. I've had warranty issues with third party seller - Amazon made good on my purchase. THe bottom line is that I am pretty sure I can rely on Amazon to correct any problems, at their expense, not mine. That makes them a great online store.
It seems that everyone is 'getting on the bandwagon, for the 2-day delivery, which was the reason, that I did not renew my Prime ($99)

Very disappointing at your service! You had posted on your site that you had the hot item hatchimals available. I ordered 2 at double the price, you sent me 2 email confirmations saying they would ship Tuesday, November 29,2016 and took the money out of my account! Then, hours later you sent 2 new emails saying that you were sorry but you were canceling my order and could not fulfill it and that you woukd not take any money out! Well you had already did and the customer service was awful!

Made a purchase on Wednesday. They charged my card. They send me a confirmation of my order. They next say they send a shipment confirmation. Three hours later I check my order history and see the order had been cancelled! No notification, no email, no call. I just happened to check my account.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
