Here are movies on offer hard to get anywhere nearby. With my multi-region DVD players I can buy and watch what I want. Go for it.
They simply have everything and at a competitive price. The shipping department is second to none and tracking your package is incredibly easy. One-click ordering makes things even easier. I would recommend getting Prime. It has some great advantages if you shop online regularly. Besides who doesn't like coming home from work to boxes on your doorstep?

Pros
1) Amazon Prime offers free 2-day shipping for many products.
2) Amazon Prime offers some free music and movies.
3) Amazon Prime offers free returns for some items and the return methods are hasslefree.
Did you notice something? Yeah, Amazon rocks when you have Prime membership. However, the membership fee is high.
Cons:
1) Sometimes 2-day shipping fails to deliver in two days.
2) Amazon Prime only offers very limited choices for free music and movies, considering the membership fee.
3) Amazon Prime does not cover free returns for all Prime eligible items. For instance, I needed an immune boost product when I was very sick, but the item was delivered on the third day. I couldn't wait and got something else. However, the item delivered was not eligible for free returns.
4) There are more and more products on Amazon that are sold and shipped by sellers in China. The quality of these items is very questionable most of the time, and the shipping time is ridiculously long. I'm not saying we shouldn't purchase anything from China, but that being said, at least it should have a filter function for buyers to choose. I purchased a fall dress for my daughter and it didn't tell me where the item will be shipped from nor give me a tracking number, so I waited for over a month (already lost track of time since it took too long -- maybe 5~6 weeks) to receive it. The weather was already winter-like around Thanksgiving, so I don't see the point of keeping the dress as my daughter will outgrow it very soon. Bummer!
5) The search engine of Amazon fails to deliver only the results you want -- it somehow gives a lot of junks when crossing your key words, and I don't know why. On the contrary, I feel eBay does a better job on this.
6) Amazon should make itself more visible on Google shopping if its search engine has flaws. It is very frustrating to be not able to find the real products neither from Amazon nor Google shopping.
Due to the reasons above, I'm giving 3 or 4 stars for Amazon.
I'd been ordering from amazon (UK) constantly for years until last summer. Since last summer most of my orders are being automatically canceled due to transaction delays. I don't know if it's only exclusively amazon's fault, it might also be my bank's fault. But it's really annoying that both have no idea why my payments are being declined.
I am an Amazon Prime Member and it has been the best experience I could ever have! I can get anything I want on Amazon, even food, and get it in 2 days! Prime membership is $99 a year, cheaper than going to the store and home, even once a week, because the gas cost more than that lol. I love that I can pre-order movies, games, and music, and get it on the day that it is released, at the cheapest cost on the day of release! This especially helps me at Christmas and Birthdays, I just have the family make wish lists on Amazon and then I can just order whatever I want from it and never leave the house, lol! That is the best kind of shopping ever!

I have had Amazon Prime since 2005 and I recently had my first problem using it. I ordered a bed sheet set and did not receive the pillow slips. I called and Amazon apologized and offered to send the pillow slips immediately. I received the pillow slips 2 days later. Since 2005 I have probably ordered something at least once a week. Some orders have come to my home and some orders were sent to other addresses. That this was the first problem I have encountered and it was handled with courtesy, efficiency and in such a professional manner was impressive in a day and age where people encounter nastiness so often when contacting customer support. I love Amazon and wouldn't change my shopping choice even to save a dollar or two.

My favorite place to shop. The Prime membership is pricey & there should be a discount for long-time subscribers, but so far, no. I can find everything I want or need & there can be significant discounts. The free shipping is the best thing ever. Plus, they ship sturdy boxes, & so well packaged.

Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
