I've been a prime member for a few years now. I take advantage of the shipping, music and books. I love the vendors they use. I had to send spin shoes back 3 times for sizing issues. Free returns no problem. And the owner of ZOL contacted me to help me with the sizing.

Amazon seems to have everything I need and more, and with one click, I get products to my door in two days. New tights for my daughter who was in the Nutcracker - no problem. The cool scooter that every boy wants this year - they had that too. They also offer easy returns, and took back all of the hover boards I ordered last year when there were product issues.
They have a wide selection of products. Their shipping is incredibly fast. International shipping from Japan took 2 weeks which is way less than I expected. Never had any issues with them. Superb!
I've been buying from them for years and I order from them several times a month. I like their Prime because it offers so much for a low monthly price. Plus I subscribe to their Cloud service which is also reasonably priced. I have never had any complaints about their products or services.

I did not give it 5 stars because I wish Amazon would address some shipping and package tracking issues and include more products in their special Prime selection, but overall I am pleased and I feel I can rely on Amazon's reviewer community.
As a former Prime membership customer on Amazon I no longer see any reason to give Jeff Bezos or any of his affiliates or cronies anybody's money. I mean, the man is #1 richest in the world, unless one has a vested interest in displacing the Waltons as the #1 family in the world to hold the Walmart corporations and billions of USD, one should diligently practice the science of skinflintery. I heavily regret any dealings with anyone selling items on this website, and unless anonymous individuals known as 'Michael Deering' want to face me on the defamation lawsuit stand or queue up for a restraining order they should end Amazon's web service support. The warehouses in Amazon power 10,000 lb packing and shipping machines to fill and send the customer packages, to avoid liability and a potential lawsuit, so no one would be any the wiser if an individual's body were placed in a restraining device and thrown violently down the conveyor belt and buried offsite or cremated. Drones flying the skies carry 3,000 lbs. of Amazon merchandise across the skies and it is only a matter of time before they pick someone off or assert non-platonic connections of anyone that they perform surveillance on. Save yourselves and practice the narrowest skinflintery possible, hide your loved ones and stay off the Internet.
