Usually they are pretty good at handling complaints. Watch out for trial periods as they tend to go on charging your account without letting you know. I complained bitterly and they refunded my entire amount charged to my credit card
I have made numerous purchases from retailers on Amazon with mostly quite positive experiences - products shipped/received on time and as advertised. My only criticism is minor - that is, when a problem is experienced, there is a very short character limit for the review, so that it is not possible to enter a detailed account of any problem with one of their retailers. Thankfully, I've had only one problem worth providing a negative review over the last several years of purchases.

've been an Amazon customer for over 20 years I have never used Prime because Amazon processed orders promptly without it. In the last 6 to 8 months I've noticed a big push by Amazon to join Prime; I've also noticed a long delay in shipping. What used to take no longer than 4 days to receive now takes 10 days BEFORE they even ship and an additional 4 days to receive. Amazon is not the only online marketer online and not always the best deal.

I sold an item, shipped it the same day, and I have still not been paid. Why? Amazon insists they do not have my banking info... which I entered correctly. I only have one bank account, one routing number, and one account number - it's kind of hard to get it wrong. So, the buyer is happy as he received his purchase right away but I have received nothing for my efforts. I will NEVER use Amazon to sell anything ever again. They have no "real" people to speak with to resolve issues... all you get are continual email messages saying they do not have the information they need to transfer the proceeds of the sale. I have entered the correct information at least 4 times, and I have still not been paid. BEWARE
I bought an international sim card from them while traveling over the holidays. It was delivered quickly, actually a day before the expected/projected day. I endorse this company

Amazon has great prices but unless you pay extra for delivery, they are slow. They also charged me for Amazon Prime without my knowledge. They did refund my money but the whole thing was shady

This year, I took the advice of a family member and began shopping on Amazon.com. I love it! I did 95% of my Christmas shopping. What a blessing! All my packages arrived on time and I was not disappointed with any item that I bought. Also, the prices were less on most items than in the stores. I would highly recommend Amazon.com for any type of shopping!
I love Amazon. The best thing about Amazon is their backup policy. I did not receive an item I had ordered. It was easily researched and found to have been delivered to another city. They gave me a credit and they dealt with the company I ordered the item from. Just awesome.
