I have been a customer with Amazon since 1998. I have probably during that time only had about two complaints to thecompany, but upon the rare occasion there was a complaint the choice to place a call to customer service or email gets prompt results day or night. Please note that the weekend customer service is the same as weekday without long holds. Just numero uno when it comes to customer first. So many other companies need to study this company so they can figure it out.
Amazon has always gone out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Even when an item I bought from a seller on Amazon was defective, Amazon went the extra mile to get a refund. Thank you Amazon!

I love Amazon. They have just about everything and their shipping is faster than my driving around town hunting for various items, and they donate to my non-profit every time I, or others, shop. Can't be it.

There are several items I ordered that I never received and Amazon quickly and fairly refunded every dime I spent. Return shipping is often free. I love this site. It has absolutely everything and great quality-always.
I did not ask to sign up for the professional seller account. I just wanted to join as a private seller but their website added this without asking me. If you click on the "start selling" link they ask for your credit card details and sneakily sign you up for 480$ per year in charges. If you notice it they stop the 480$ per year charges but refuse to return the first 40$. Amazon are dishonestly scamming potential sellers.
Seriously TOO good. I am absolutely obsessed with Amazon Prime. It is SO great and SO easy, it actually can be dangerous :) They have everything, the prices are great & you get it in max 2 days, can't beat it! Try prime for the free 30 days, to try it out. ( and it is not a problem to cancel too)
My boy who is 8 years old opens a package sent by amazon it had unmarked lighter torch in it. And he let it and it wouldn't go out and he ended up in the hospital and my place burned. I called trying to get reimbursed for the doctor bill and they said they would help even talked to Jeff bazos himself next thing they will not help because they are worried about there stock and don't give a damned about children and the bill was only $2000 what can I do but look at my scarred up son. They even told him they would help just to disappoint an already injured kid.

I have order some things on Amazon, I dont use Amazon as much as Ebay because it takes long time to find out if the shop in Amazon really ship overseas or to what countries, would be nice, u can see it in beginning as ebay and not after 10 clicks
Did not enjoy shopping here. They deal with many 3rd party vendors. And the quality of service was not that great. Shipping time was several weeks.

I tried to purchase a DVD at Christmas as a gift. I added the DVD to my cart, which had about 6 items. When I went to check out, there was a notice on that DVD, that I couldn't purchase it, as it was "reserved" for Prime members, Oh, and did I want to join? No thanks. Haven't been back since.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
