I have amazon prime and there is nothing more convenient than being able to find a product on amazon and order it with free shipping. They have almost anything you could ever want! I'm disabled and it's hard to walk around a store to shop. Being able to get so many things from amazon and receive them in a couple days is immensely helpful for me. The amount I've saved on shipping has more than paid for my prime membership every year. When they do mess up, their service people are willing and able to handle the problem for you. Recently they shipped out an item of furniture after I'd canceled the order. Their automatic return system wanted to charge me shipping to send it back. Five minutes chatting with a CSR and I had a free pickup scheduled for the large, bulky item. Then their automatic system deducted shipping from the credit for the item (their error in shipping a canceled order). Another few minutes chatting with a CSR and I had full credit. Their CSRs can bypass their automatic system to give you quick, efficient, and polite assistance. There's no "I have to send this to a manager to look into." I appreciate that. Amazon has quality products, service, and people with very reasonable prices. I love them.

I love shopping off of there and normally buy all of my goods off of there especially body jewelry such as tongue rings, and septum rings which by the way are always in the best quality.

Absolutely horrible company with a really shaddy record when it comes to dealing fairly. They claimed they were advertising "natural turquoise" and when you go to their page all it has was Chinese imported junk! Disgusting that they can get away with things like this.

Love the shopping experience, especially with Amazon Prime. Also, whenever I had a problem, they really have a great customer service team. Exchanged a house phone free of charge, even though it stopped working after the return period.
In addition to part-timers having to work 11 hours on their feet, they must also rush and race because they are being timed as they pick orders. They only receive a 30 minute lunch. By the time one gets to the time clock which is located on the opposite end of the warehouse, and/or utilize the restroom one has 20 minutes left of lunch. Associates are running around having to beat their time instead of focusing on getting the job done in a safe manner. The store only had 2 days without injury which speaks for itself. On my first day, an associate was bleeding from his cheek. Injuries range from knee, arm, head, foot, etc. Working conditions are not what they are suppose to be like for human beings. Vending machines are broken in order to get proper PPE (e.g. Gloves, glove liners). I am canceling my Amazon Prime membership and never buying from Amazon again. Working conditions are disgusting. Being fast should not be what is important, SAFETY is what is important. Amazon would not be the world's most "customer-centric company" without its associates. One can't even utilize the restroom unless they are on break or lunch, because it affects their time, and management will take note of it, so additionally employees must also train their bladder. Sad.
To the CEO Mr. Bezos:
Instead of having employees yell "CORNER" and "CROSSING" when moving along the aisles, you would benefit from not timing employees like they are animals fetching, and concentrate on a humane work environment that is safe for all.

In an era where customer service and accountability seem to be diminishing, Amazon continues to shine in both areas. Over the years I have bought a variety of products from them and have been pleased with the consistent on-time delivery, excellent communication, swift and courteous customer service. I have confidence in buying any product they offer because in the rare cases there is a quality issue, they immediately send a label and make it very easy to return the item. They have saved me hundreds of hours shopping and deliver excellent merchandise at top value! What a pleasure it would be if other businesses shared their business model & consumer-friendly attitude.
I love shopping at Amazon and I also have Amazon Prime. I love the convenience of shopping online. The customer reps are great and always work to make yu happy with the service.
I am a penny pinched, my kids say cheap, but being an Amazon prime member is the best decision by far! I shop for almost everything on there, I love the two day shipping and if it ever takes longer then they will compensate you. I check prices all the time with my local stores and besides food items Amazon always wins! I can not remember when I went into a store during Xmas time! They always have the best deals and savings I can find. I'm retired and shopping is literally a pain due to a dysfunctional back. That is where Amazon comes in-I can shop for ALL my needs from the comfort of my couch. From paper goods to beauty products-there is something for everyone. If you can't find it locally-search Amazon and chances are it's there.
They really care about customer service and ask for your rating, comments and thoughts about the seller and the product you have purchased. I always rate them as it helps the market place.

I have purchased several items on Amazon, So far I have had no trouble as a prime member the shipping, and the prime movies. Plus I have going to the mall and The Prices on Amazon are way better Just purchased this WLtoys RC Airplane at the best price I could find.

If you live in Australia, the Book Depository and Wordery (both UK, I understand Wordery have an Australian office.
Both have similar prices and delivery times.
Amazon Australia seems to be mainly ebooks for my not so popular genres.
Amazon always includes delivery, wavered I think if you spend a larger amount.
Wordery and Book Depository have a good range and free delivery which is great for me, as I see a book and want to order that book NOW!
Amazon has an endless variety of merchandise and a very user friendly website. I have. However, found their shipping to be a bit slow most of the time.
I have been a loyal customer for years and it just keeps getting better. I have a prime membership everything gets delivered to my door in no time. I subscribe and save and every few months my house is restocked and 15% for ordering 5 or more items. We have prime tv, music and echo! Amazon simplifies our life from food to furniture. Are they perfect, no but what is so great about Amazon is they fix it. Easy returns, discounts and they will work with your situation. Their customers services is excellent and fast! I can call or email and get answers when I need and want them. They definitely are a front runner in this business. I have tried others now and again and always come back to Amazon. You just can't go wrong!
Most of the time the shipping is more than the item itself. Not worth it for me. I rather use eBay because most of the shipping there is free or really cheap.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
