Amazon is amazing. Easy to navigate and can find almost any thing on the site. When purchasing directly from you get as advertised. One major problem is some third party sellers. Amazon will work with you on dealing with third party sellers who try to scam or cheat others. Sometimes Amazon doesn't make the date delivery they quote. However, do to a large amount of orders this only makes sense though, do to demand.
At time's ordering from Amazon is simple, fast, and easy. Other times it's a huge headache full of confusing shipping charges, unusable gift cards that say there's $0 when there should be money available, and a lot of products can't be delivered to Canada, which is extra frustrating after searching for and finding a particular item only to get halfway through ordering to realize I can't get it delivered to me.
Be careful Amazon will show pictures and descriptions of an item leading you to believe that it is a name brand item but they send a cheap Chinese imitation that doesn't even work or look like the pictures or match the discription!
Amazon Is arguably the best eCommerce website out there. You can buy just about anything and the suppliers have been far more reliable than that of other site I have shopped from.
If you pay a little extra or live in a metropolitan area you can even gain access to other features some of which include: music streaming, video streaming, same day delivery, 2 hour delivery, no shipping costs, etc.
I am constantly surprised at the variety of products available. I started out purchasing books then Note Cards then Tech Devices, Clothes, and even hard-to-find Vitamin and Health items. Recently, I even found a Household Cleaning product which was sold out at a local industrial janitorial supply warehouse. Amazon is my "go-to" place for anything I need quick. Love it!

I am a prime member of Amazon and have been for at least 3 years. Love it. Amazon leads the pack in online shopping, customer care and a super fast response to complaints. Their shipping is "very good" but used to be excellent. The reason for the change is they have switched a lot of shipping from UPS to USPS and this has slowed down deliveries by a day or two.

I was a seller for few months. Not a single complaint from a client etc. Everyone was happy. Then suddenly account gets blocked without explanation. First I thought it's a technical error.
I called up the customer rep and was told that someone will call be back within 2 days. No one ever called.

They refused to provide me with information whom should I address in that letter (so called data controller) which is already an offence in the EU. I got it somehow and sent a letter but just like before they ignored it (offence number two: they're legally obliged to respond within 40 days)
I had to use legal letter to get ANY response. Their response was that they wouldn't give me anything until I verify my ID. So I did. Now they request a copy of my lease: D

I like their platform. Easy to find things that I need. Only thing that I don't like is their review system. If they show how many people have purchased a product with no review. Than I can know the percentage that how many people is ok with their purchase.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
