Amazon is awesome! When I compare prices they are the BEST ANYWHERE! I absolutely love shopping here! THANKS GUYS!
I use the Amazon app often and find it relatively simple to use - there are a few issues I have issues wirh. The shipping methods offered on a product has a default and may differ from what the item is listed as - you have to check your preferred method specifically. On my iPhone app I cannot locate a "continue shopping" option if I'm in the "my cart" section.
I spent over $20,000 on Amazon last year. Had twins in 2015. Without Amazon I would have gone crazy. I order everything and I mean everything from Amazon down to my toothpaste and deodorant. Why go to a Germ Filled Store when you can get package delivered right to your door. NO LOADING in the cold or rain.
Since they use UPS, in my case, was the worst that happened. Having to track an order that was supposedly left on my door, when I live in high rise was too much.
If everyone in the online business would follow Amazon's relentless pursuit to satisfy the customer, Amazon would have some competition. But they are in a league of their own, a model that other companies could learn from and emulate. I am a customer of Amazon and they didn't compensate me to write this, I've just had a great experience with them overall and they deserve the accolades... LS
Stuff there is not bad. But guys, your shipping services sometimes really slow and I've got my package broken one time. Please, avoid that in future.
Cheapest prices, fastest delivery, perfect product condition, convenient payment methods, widest range of products... what more can one ask for from an online retailer? I got my favorite book for less than $2 delivered right to my doorstep within 18 hours, and it was nicely wrapped and in perfect condition. It is almost unbelievable
Their price is too high than other websites. Amazon also charge you for their membership without checking the status of their customers. I never purchased it but they charged me for their membership without my acknowledgement and they also withdrawn $100 dollars from my bank account. I had to contact them to get my money back. When I contact them they sent my call to South Africa to resolve that problem. With my surprise, I find that African male has all my banking information through Amazon's company. It is scary!
They are without a doubt the best and most trusted online company around. Join Prime. It pays for itself in no time with free steaming and free 2 day shipping.
Products get here on time. Usually in good condition and as described I find this a great place to spend my money
What I don't like is when they ask for payment, they will tell your payment accepted. Then I start to realize that as the different vendors decide to ship. They then actually take the money out of my account. I DON'T LIKE THAT ONE BIT. It is frustrating to me. If you tell me you have taken payment at time of order... then just do that.
Really down on Amazon right now because today, not for the 1st time, I added what I needed to my cart and went to checkout where I was then told I needed $XX. XX more for free shipping. So I spent 15 minutes going through the house looking for essentials to order. Another 15 minutes was spent finding ones I actually could add top my cart because half of them had a prime only button. So now, we're a half hour in on what should be a pretty simple and FAST ordering process. My cart finally shows I qualify for free shipping, so I hit the checkout button... and voila, there's a 14.95 charge for shipping! Well, if I've got to pay for shipping I might as well just order the couple of items I really needed, right? WRONG. Amazon no longer has delete buttons next to each of the items in your shopping cart... not even one to clear the entire list to start over! This is what happens when companies get to big -- it's no longer about what they can do for you, it's what you can do for them.
I like this website and purchasedo many items here but the prices are a little more expensive than others but never had a problem.
My customer Amazon account was hacked and I reported it after seeing my email had been changed. I was assured everything was cool and I would not be charged for any activity.
A week later I started getting emails saying customers wanted to know why I had sent their purchases to the wrong address, After that I started getting notices from Amazon, they would be charging my account for the 48+ refunds. Fortunately, my gut told me to cancel the accounts associated with the account a week earlier and I acted on it. I once had a seller account in 2007 but stopped using it because the only sales I made were from fraudulent accounts. I guess the hackers knew how to activate it.
I have called several times and have been assured the account has been sent to their "tech" department. I have only spoken to 1 person who spoke English as their first language. Most of the other folks I spoke with were Chinese or Indian and could care less what was going on. I have tried to explain I have the name of the store name the hackers are using but I am them told they can't add anything to my case once it's been sent to "tech" but "tech" would be getting back to me... it's been 9 days now and I'm pretty sure I won't be hearing from them anytime soon, if at all.
I do have an email that states I do not have a sellers account with Amazon but no other details and it ends with asking me to email them at the enclosed link if I have any questions or concerns. I clicked on it and it goes to the logon page which of course, I can no longer click on.
I am worried I will be prosecuted for something I have not done. I am also worried I will be sued for the refund amounts since they are not able to charge any of the accounts I had attached to it.
My advice, DON'T USE AMAZON. It's not worth it. Buy and sell your products elsewhere, you'll be glad you did.
The sheets work fine, the sock aids didn't work, so Amazon gave me a refund. I am giving the sock aids to goodwill or some other charity.
My only concern with Amazon is in their reviews. Many times, the last sentence states that the reviewer received the item in response for a review
Prime is the BEST... prices always very competitive... selection amazing! When in doubt... shop AMAZON!
Item arrived ahead of time, in excellent condition
I cannot fault your prompt and efficient service.
Yours sincerely Barrie Arthur Saunders.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
