Prime is the best thing ever. Refunds are hassle free and I've even been refunded for items I didn't return that weren't faulty, I just chose the wrong one. I've had refunds for items USPS took long to deliver and got to keep the item once it arrived. They call carriers directly on the hidden-from-public numbers and get your issues resolved
We pay for the yearly service. So far it's been pretty good. Shipments are usually pretty fast. And everything we have ordered has been good quality and worth the price.
Love AMAZON but I can not sign out. I can not scroll to the bottom of their list. It disappears every time and I have tried it different ways. Their list is too long and the sign out disappears. Needs to be fixed. I actually had to sign onto my old computer with the bigger screen to get it to work
I use Amazon not only for shopping, but for checking reviews on products before I buy elsewhere. The reviews are so helpful when determining if I'm making the right buy. There have been a lot of times I was going to buy a product, and Amazon helped me find a better one. Amazon Prime - totally worth it if you're considering it. I don't know how I'd shop now without my Amazon :)

Canceled Prime. We signed up for Prime having decided on consolidating our on line purchases with them, and we'd used the service from time to time. Prime DID NOT satisfy with promise of speedy 2 day shipping on all purchases as promised, which put us through a bunch of hassles including dealing with their customer service. Frustrating at best and without resolve. In 1 instance the item purchased was available during order, and we then received a back order notice. After the hit or mis on promised delivery and poor results from contacts, we decided they don't deserve our business.
Great, easy to find products. Never found it easier to get things accomplished in my day. Amazon Prime is worth it.
I had never purchased from Amazon until this past Christmas. (2016) I honestly had never even gone on the site to see what they had. I am so glad I did! I did all my Christmas shopping in one day, got great deals, and shipped the gifts directly to the person I purchased it for! I can not tell you have glad I am that I didn't have to fight the crowds at the stores, just to pay more, (on some things) and then turn around to stand in the long lines at the post office to ship them. Now that I have purchased from Amazon, next Christmas, and anything in between, I am going to check out Amazon first!

Amazon is a great place to get what you need at a great price. Their customer service is great. You can get products that you need at great prices and Amazon stands behind everything they sell. However, like eBay, Amazon is notorious for scalpers who buy products and then resale them for hundreds over MSRP due to shortage of these items. Apple products and Nintendo products come to mind... If you want something, be sure to purchase them from legitimate sellers. Don't fall for scalpers which Amazon should not allow. That is the reason I deduct a point from this review. Scalpers are the reason why we can't buy products at the MSRP prices... they buy up the supply dry and resale them for much higher prices. If Amazon and eBay don't allow these scalpers to do business on their sites, consumers would still have a chance to buy these at fair prices.

Several years ago I would have given them five stars, but lately they have employed waaaay too many third party sellers, many of whom are selling fake products. I bought a shirt that said it was sold by amazon, not third party, but it was clearly a forgery. The image provided on the website showed the picture on the shirt taking up most of the shirt, but the shirt I got had a picture about the size of a standard sheet of notebook paper, AND it was badly smeared! I also bought some makeup from a brand I usually buy at the mall, and it was crumbly and hard, and it smelled weird. What's frustrating is that even after contacting Amazon about these scammers, Amazon continues to let them sell their bogus products!
Very long time for some of the items to arrive. The shipping/items are broken up. Order # **************030, never made it here yet. And the worst part, if I can at least sign in to view the status, but I can't. All I see 2 Items were shipped, but the 3rd item with above order# is not to be found. When I click in the order details, it keeps kicking me out to the start page, unable to view the order status or details. Order placed on 2/23/17 and it suppose to arrive between 3/10/17 and 4/10/17. Very bad delay. I'm not happy at all. This is the 3rd time I tried them. Very first time. I bought a Kindle for my son and it immediately broke on the 2nd day. I contacted Amazon and never got a refund. Don't ever purchase any big ticket items or electronics here, or you will be screwed. I doubt that I will ever shop with them again.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
