Please do not forget what got you to the top!
Amazon is a great place to buy almost anything. Prices are usually lower than in brick and mortar stores and you avoid crowds, and no show sales personnel. You shop in your chair and check out is extremely easy, even has a one click checkout for buyers who are already logged in. Amazon has some credit options and offers gift cards for someone who is a hard to shop for person. I would definitely recommend shopping at Amazon.
Never had an issue with orders for business or personal use whether using Prime or not. Not always the best prices but along with Staples the most reliable deliveries.
Just ordered some teenage fiction books for my daughter. Not only did i get a discount on the price over the book store near my huse... the books came much earlier than the expcedt date... always reliable
I've been a loyal customer for years. There have been frequent issues from poorly packaged boxes that resulted in damaged goods, to the wrong items being sent, to the most recent and reason they no longer have my business, the information on the website regarding their autoship was incorrect and is still incorrect indicating a box is to be sent that has already been sent and did not reflect the changes I made to my order. Their customer service is very lacking, I never felt valued or appreciated as a customer who has spent thousands of dollars with them, and their suggested resolutions to the issues were never adequate. Recently their stock is low and I've found better prices elsewhere. Don't do business with them.
I have requested once that amazon remove me from the email sharing- pool that sends your email to third party sellers who in turn spam your inbox with "How did we do? Do you like our product? Please leave us a positive review!" I actually responded once to one of the emails, the product was supposedly delivered on a Sunday but I did not recieve it. Then I got an email back from the third party seller stating that amazon was responsible for shipping and I would need to contact amazon about a lost product. This company just wanted a positive review for a missing purchase. If amazon is responsible for selling, acquring, and shipping the item to me, why does this third party company need my email? If I so choose to leave a review, that is my business. If Macy's foreign suppliers called you every time you left the store to ask you to go online and review the clothes you just bought, would you shop at Macy's? This should not be allowed, amazon.
I have ordered countless items from Amazon. I have had very few issues and when I did they quickly remedied the issue. I hope they never change.
I order from Amazon almost weekly, always speedy delivery and if there is ever a problem customer service is always curtious and helpful
Even when the order is wrong the experience is fantastic. I never had issues with returns and shipping costs are great with Prime membership!
Can't be more than happy with amazon, would give 100 starts :) had couple problems and they have been solved by Amazon customer care
I just don't particularly care for the disclaimers. If an item is refurbished, list it where we can all see it! A lot of the items that I purchase on here aren't that high quality. You get what you pay for.
Amazon is by far the best site to shop at. You find anything and everything at great prices. Shipping is quick and Prime is the best thing that happened to retail therapy. Returns are no hassle at all which i love. Literally have no negative. Love amazon.
While not everything on the site is great quality, i can find really unusual items. I have found everything from jewelry to 3D printer filament to wedding shoes to kids wresting gear.
I have purchased from amazon for years, suddenly they refuse my orders claiming I was rejected by telecheck. Telecheck will not allow inquires with out joining which I refuse to do as I've had two bad experiences with them in the past. BBB has ONLY all negative posts about them from posters to BBB.
I like stuff are they selling (almost anything my imagination can allow). But my order came to me broken. Fortunately refunds work good.
Excellent service, excellent prices, excellent machendise. Amazon shopper for life. I tell all my friends about Amazon and they tell me they love it.
I used Amazon to purchase most of the items needed for my son's wedding. I had no issue with any of the vendors but one. It was for two sets of engraved dog tags by TagZ. Both sets engravings were wrong and had two different dates, neither of which were the actual wedding date. Since they arrived too late to return we had no way of replacing them and they just had to be tossed out. When Amazon sent me the email to review the different products I had purchased they accepted ALL EXCEPT the review for this company stating that they arrived late, vendor did not reply to email sent, and the engraving was wrong on both of them. BEWARE of the reviews on Amazon as they are very selective of which one they will allow to be posted. The only thing in their guidelines that they sent me for why they could have possibly denied my review is that the purchase must be $50 or mores. The irony is most of the other purchase they had me review for the same event were all under $50 but as they were mostly positive it seems that was the criteria used as to which ones they allowed to be posted and which one they denied to post.
So long as you realize what you are getting and make sure the seller is rated good (for me that's 99% or better), you will be happy with your order.
If you think you are getting the greatest deal ever, then be ready to be disappointed. A large chunk of the stuff sold there is made in China or within that part of the world. You buy cheap, expect cheap.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
