Amazon to me is always a great shopping experience. I'm one of those people who buy everything on amazon, from dish soap to furniture. Never had any issues with my orders. Returns are super easy and hassle free. The prices overall are really good and there are a lot of great deals on many products. Highly recommend.
What can I say... I use Amazon for majority of my online purchases. Great website and great service!
I truly enjoy dealing with AMAZON.CA, good product desciption, prompt delivery, several payment option, have dealt with Amazon.ca for several years, and do recommend whole heartedly.
I use Amazon all the time to buy everything from clothes, to shelves and other things for the home/kitchen, to hair products, to shoes. Their prices are always competitive (although I wish they hadn't raised free shipping from $25 to $35 worth of items). I also appreciate the Amazon Smile program - what a great way to raise funds for the charity of your choice!
My only qualm is that you can't use more than 1 Prime Pantry credit at a time, and there are limited opportunities to get free shipping with this service.
But otherwise, I generally can't get enough of Amazon. I'm on there almost every day checking out the lightning deals and drooling over items in my wishlist.
I've been for 1 month waiting for a flash sale checking the site everyday when it finally happened i went to pay and it doesn't accept my payment method when it says in the site they do. Was making another card to make the payment and the flash sale ends 11 hours earlier.
I contact amazon they tell me they cant correct their mistake.
Never buying anything from them again.
It's so comforting to know that with a few clicks on my Smartphone I can order a new supply almost anything I need in just moments... keep up the great work AMAZON...
A few of my last Prime orders have missed the promised delivery date due to carrier not receiving package in time. Made me look for other retailers with same products. Low and behold, Amazon is not always the cheapest.
Easy to use, love what they sale, is very reliable in the times and the merchandise. We buy a lot trough that website
I have been a fan of Amazon for years. So far no problem with any of the many products I've ordered. I normally read the reviews prior to ordering and base my opinions of if I should buy or not on customer feedback. So far no issues. I will continue to order from Amazon as I have found them to be a lot cheaper for same items found locally at brand name stores. I am a Prime member and love that service as well. I've only had to contact them one time about an item not received and they immediately credited my account. Fan for life!
Amazon order number: **************855.
Macys order number: *******161. For those who wish to research the validity of this review. I was expecting a shipment from both Macy's and Amazon.com on the same date on about the 15th of March 2017. I received emails that the items we're delivered but upon getting home from work nothing was on the porch as they usually are and I've been a frequent customer to both companies for years. I immediately called both and both Macy's and Amazon seemed to understand and show interest in helping however Macy's customer service must be in Vietnam because I could barely understand them. They both told me I'd be issued a refund so I'm happy at this point. However at 8pm on this same date the items from Macys showed up on the porch and several days later at about the same time the item from Amazon showed up. Obviously a delivery error because the UPS info noted left with lady but no lady lives at my address. Although unsure where it was left they we're honest enough to return it to me. I called both Macy's and Amazon immediately to correct the credits and here's what I found. Amazon actually was truthful and issued the refund while Macy's showed no record of any refund and days later sent me a letter saying because of the shipper note (left with lady) they we're unable to issue a refund. Good thing this mysterious lady that they spoke of at an unknown address and no signature was honest. My point is it's good to know if there is a problem Amazon is willing to help while Macy's on the other hand will not be getting anymore orders simply because they chose to blame the customer for the shipping error. I'm sure no one at Macys even thought to check my order history and see the thousands of dollars I've spent there over the years. Sorry Macys. Youre done until you care for customer. I'd rather shop Amazon now.
$99.00 a year seems like a fair price for all the services included in this membership. I order alot of items off Amazon and the free shipping is the main reason I initial chose to try this membership. Free 2 day delivery really made it worthwhile when I used it to send gifts at Christmas.
Recently I have used the Prime Now to order from Bartells, Pcc, and also grocery items off Amazon. PrimeNow is a 2 hour delivery service included in the Prime membership. I have not been disapointed. The prices are regular store prices, not marked up like my recent attempt at using Instacart. All the food is fresh, not past the due date like Instacart. There is a minimum amount which is different for each store, but it is reasonable and there is no delivery charge or service fee. Prime now can be used to order from local restaurants too(I have not used yet)
I have listened to free music through my Prime membership. Also free videos are offered but I have not even looked yet to see what's available.
I save time not running to the store and money too as I get 5% back when I use my Amazon.com credit card. To me Amazon Prime membership is worth it!
Have been a satisfied "Prime" member for years but in the last year There has been a marked increase in failed deliveries at times on items I had been counting on getting when promised. There is a delivery notice but no package to be found. A refund was always issued but the hassle it caused was not worth the dollar or two save over [in most cases] being able to buy the same product at a local [brick & mortar] store. Amazon's delivery used to be golden but whatever they have changed will cost them sales a is a big black mark on their reputation. Don't understand why so many companies move away from a proven formula and end up causing long term damage usually due to short term greed. Will think twice now before ordering from Amazon. Bad move Amazon! A year ago I would have rated 5+ stars.
1 week ago, i placed order 7 days later still not shipped called they said not shipped yet cause warehouse is 35 min away from just stupid that's more of a reason why it should have been shipped and received already. DUMBEST EXPLANTATION EVER
Definitely my first stop shopping for anything. I bought so much stuff, and returned a few without any issues.
I will try and keep this brief.
I ordered a cd repair machine nov 2016 4 days until delivery, on the sixth day i logged on to see where it was website told me iteam was delivered. I called amazon they said it had been delivered "i said not to me it wasnt. I told them that no card had been though my door, so i said about this money guarantee policy, they stated that it was sold but a third party seller so the policy didnt come into it.
I asked seller for proof of signiture of deliver. They refused as this was not normal practice. I managed to find out the courier so gave them a call, they indicated on there gps that item was delivered about 40 houses going up my street. Amazon dont want anything to do with case. Third party seller is £209 better off and im still fighting to get money back. Be warned dont deal with ADZ distribution
I buy alots books on Amazon. You have amazon prime (basically a must have) then you get two-day shipping on any amazon store front or associated store front their pricing ranges from great to meh
You can find just about anything on Amazon! You can see others' reviews and compare prices. The customer service and return policies are awesome.
Add Prime Membership to the experience (FREE two-day shipping!) if you are a frequent buyer... it pays for itself... AND you get other "perks" with Prime Membership as well!
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
