Can not believe how great amazon is, easy ordering, easy returns. They have any and everything you need. With prime it is wonderful everything gets to you so quickly you can't believe it.
I had a simple and unpleasant act of theft turn into a unnecessarily frustrating ordeal all thanks to Amazon. They're support us understaffed and under trained and there are no proper protocols, policy or supervision in place to protect consumers.
Long story short, instead of immediately refunding me for a fraudulent charge they FROZE it. Meaning the money was still debited from my bank account even though the item was NEVER shipped out. Amazon failed to take proper notes of my case and gave me the run around. 3 weeks later my bank reversed the charge and said from beginning Amazon should have simply refunded me.
This is online commerce 101 and also common sense. Their incompetence and greed caused me many sleepless nights and hours and hours on the phone with different entities.
Amazon.com is run by greedy megalomaniacal idiots who under pay sweatshop labor that offer 0 real assistance when you need it.

No major problems. I do question some of the reviews because they often repeat themselves. I only choose sellers with high approval ratings. Returns/exchanges are easy.
I not only shop amazon but also have prime which just the last year saved me major money and on my fixed income Amazon is my go too. I have had problems resolved quickly and shipping can't be beat.
Im an amazon prime member and the price is worth it. Most places say you will get it in 2 days and you never do but amazon i always have gotten my item in 2 days if not next day except for one time which is pretty good considering how much i buy from them. Their customer service is excellent as well. It is a bit pricey for their membership but its well worth the money especially when you need something quickly. Returning is always super easy as well! Love amazon!
I was a huge amazon fan and spent a lot of money there as a prime member-its getting harder to contact a human when there is a problem, the do sell everything but you have to be careful because some of their "vendors" are pretty shady-one thing they do have is a great extended warranty company "fair trade" I highly recommend them-for many things you can do better elsewhere-their grocery delivery program is a total joke unless you are a rich rock star

Over the years of using Amazon its gets worse and worse Ive bought several things that never showed up and still charged me. This time They sent me a CD that came out of library case that wasn't original in any means If their okay with having shady sellers on their website then ill never buy from them again. Clearly they dont respect the people who buy from them Ill stick with Ebay since they back up their customers
I used to love Amazon. From 2006 to 2014 we were inseparable. Then, I started having issues. Prior to 2014, 99 % of my MANY orders came via UPS. I moved into town from the rural outskirts in 2014. My orders were then predominantly coming via United States Postal Service and therein was part of the reason I down rated them in this review. Orders are frequently delivered to wrong addresses, or not delivered at all. It has been a pain. I have begged Amazon to use UPS or FedEx for my orders. They refuse. Also, I started questioning the prices. I am not talking about the resellers, as they can price as absurdly as they wish. I mean items sold and shipped by Amazon: Dawn Dishwashing Liquid, 32.4 ounce is $3.99 in local and other online stores, but Amazon is asking $11.99 for the exact same thing. And that is just one of many examples I've found recently. I still love Amazon, but they are going to have to tighten up the ship as competition is growing. They must stop promising free shipping then charging me three times the market price. And they need to dump the USPS.
What can I say about Amazon? You name it and Amazon has it. From baby products to car parts, and many things between. If you can't find it on Amazon it can't be purchased!

Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
