There's a reason why they're the best. Using Amazon has been nothing but a positive experience every time I want to buy something, even for stuff that I didn't know existed, found just by entering a few keywords in the Search bar.
Amazon is definatelly on of the best. I have never had an issue with them. I'm a prime user and almost addicted to them. I rent textbooks, use amazon smile, fresh, pantry, I love add on items. Fast delivery, fast return.
Long story short, I told them not to contact me. They persistently contacted me. They solicited me with prime during a checkout. I declined. Next thing I know, I received an email welcoming me to prime which I never joined. I immediately, within minutes emailed them to stop all orders associated with prime and to remove prime from my account as though it never existed. They kept insisting I joined, I kept saying I never joined. Stop emailing me. Next I received a product ordered with prime even though I told them to cancel any order associated with prime. From here it became nasty. They are idiots. Amazon needs competition. I fired them.
To resolve it, remove any existence of prime to my account. It never existed. Remove all enticements of prime so I can never select prime. Remove any and all one button buy opportunities. Don't communicate to me unless I initiate the communication and then stop if I tell you the first time.
You know who I am Amazon.com. Don't contact me unless you agree with the above.
I purchase books for my Kindle... but we did purchase a VCR there. Also bought candy for Fathers Day.

Amazon has the widest selection of goods in the world, and it usually has competitive prices. But a policy they appear to have implemented in the last year or so drags my rating well down. They seem to be trying to push people to pay for shipping (through either Prime or per-order paid shipping) by seriously degrading the free shipping. This is the way I normally order. Every order I have placed in the last year has not been shipped for at least 6 days, and usually more (my last order was 8 days ago, and it hasn't shipped yet), after I placed the order. The shipping itself is fast, always 1-2 days, so they aren't using a cheaper shipping method to save costs. But they hold your order for about a week before processing and shipping it so normally you will receive it 8-10 days after you place your order. Many other online outlets offer free shipping without this kind of delay (and some of them at about the same price for the merchandise). So Amazon is now a clearly inferior online shopping site with respect to free shipping.
I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon.(Probably too much.) There are occasionally problems, and they have been good about issuing refunds when warranted. I find the site easy to use. I always rely on the customer product reviews in my buying decisions.

The times that I have had any issues, they are quick to reply and offer a resolution or refund money back to my account immediately.

Expedient and dependable. Great in the stressful world of online shopping. Although sometimes they will offer the same product from different vendors for varied prices and ship dates, as long as you research a little then they make alternatives easy to find.

Ordered many different items from Amazon going way back to when they only sold books! They improve all the time. I have never had any problems with orders or delivery. Extremely satisfied!
Love purchasing different items through Amazon, never had any problems with them at all so far. Hopefully, it stays that way, been a member since "12". When I need a refund it's no horsing around, I'll get my refund with no other issues! Everything is always done professional at all times, even get help on items (before the refund process). The seller would surely help me out more, if able to do so and I'm fine with that if you're able to, before asking for a complete refund! I'm also picky by who I'm purchasing items from as well, I'll always check out the good/bad reviews. Also, can tell if a review is fake as well, just get that gut feeling and when my gut is acting up! I'm going with my gut, I don't bother to buy from that particular vendor. But overall my experience so far on the site, and also with the vendors/sellers are pretty good experiences! Like I'd mention earlier. Hopefully it stays that way!

Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
