I am a long time customer of amazon. The customer service has gone downhill fast. They charged me $99 for a prime account that I did not order. I still don't have my money back. I have deleted the app and will never shop amazon again. #rude & dishonest co.

I pre-ordered a game (FFXIV SB) from Amazon and should have received my bonus codes from them via email. The codes never came and when I contacted customer service (about six times through email, chat, and phone) they told me to wait and they would send the codes. After waiting, asking, and waiting, the pre-order promotion timed out and they refused to send me my codes.
When I asked Amazon about this they refused to answer any questions and hung up on me. Again, do NOT buy from Amazon if your product/ game comes with promotion codes.

I just wanted to take the time to write a quick review of this shopping website. I am 100% satisfied shopping on Amazon. They stand behind their products and when you have a problem and call their Customer Service department they truly try to help and resolve your problem. So go shop on Amazon! It has been a wonderful experience for me shopping there.
You can find almost anything on Amazon. Just be sure to read the description thoroughly and the return policy, although I have NEVER had a problem returning anything, I have been in a position where I did not read the description very well and purchased something I could not use (my own fault).
Ordered a couple items and in less then 24 hours later the items price drops over $25 for one item and over $5 for the other item. I called and ask if they will refund the difference? Was told NO and if I returned the items I would have to pay return shipping fees and a restocking fee on both items.OK I pay for prime membership $99 a year and just spent over $500 on this order alone and you won't give a refund of $25 for something you dropped the price on... Hmmm guess you lost a customer and I will tell my story to every review website I can find.

HassleI will take Amazon over EBay every day of the week. My experience with EBay is negative, I in fact closed my account there along with Pay Pal. I have nothing but problems in returning to EBay and no problems at Amazon. I now exclusively shop Amazon.
Amazon has always been prompt with all my orders, placed domestically with and without prime. If I've ever had any issues with a product any representative I've talked or chatted(emailed) with has always been able to resolve my issue without any hesitation. I absolutely adore this company!

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
