I have been ordering from Amazon for more than 10 years. I have always gotten excellent service. I can find almost anything that I need. I had a few disputes with other sellers and Amazon has resolved them very quickly. I especially love the prime free 2 day shipping and same day is very convenient.
I have bought DVDs and books from Amazon for many years. Ordering and delivery updates impeccable. Never any uncertainty. And they could turn up sources for out-of-print books and rather obscure foreign-language DVDs. But lately I have run into dead-ends on some items, particularly on the number of outside suppliers from which to choose the best version of a title. They are often forgetting to mention if an English language DVD has subtitles (required to follow some plots and nerdy dialogues). It's just a bit harder to collect the vital statistics for a prospective purchase regarding publication data, abridgement, photos, translators. The things which make one edition of a book better than another. I could approach suppliers for the details but in the past I could usually get them from the Amazon descriptive entry or sometimes by looking at the book cover thumbnail. Views of other viewers and readers welcome.
I love that amazon has an amazing amount of items to choose from. I also like that they ship promptly and everything is packaged carefully!

Nice and quick, very easy and simple. I am please with this a little expanensive but great, loged into the main house computer and add away to what's needed, price are average not great but for the free hassle and effort its sometimes worth a few poucns and pennies.
I have ordered from Amazon for many many years and have never had any problems. Great customer service. When I requested a call back about an order, I was called in less than 5 minutes and my questions were always courteously answered and any issues resolved to my complete satisfaction. I wish all online companies were this good.
Prices are cheap, butI feel like it's become too big for its own good now. Amazon's own delivery service is absolutely dire and always lies that you were in when they tried to deliver, and their customer support can be a bit frustrating as English is not their first language.

I have never had an issue the few times I have had to return. I have Amazon Prime and it is so worth it. Everything I purchase is free shipping. Even small $$$ items. I am addicted. I often shop at smile.amazon.com (this site gives a percentage of your purchase to charity), but I've learned to always double check prices from Amazon vendors -- some of them try to rip you off. Any best sellers are usually great. And don't expect your package too quickly; in my experience -- especially during the holiday season -- packages can take twice as long to reach your home.
Ordering CD and DVD from Amazon was easy but I ordered several CD with Andrea Bocelli and one of the CD was a double disc and the second disc did not play.
Customer service, price and shipping is beyond EXCELLENT I just purchased from Houzz and that was a BIG mistake.
I use Smile.Amazon.com so that when I purchase anything, a percentage goes to help a charity of my choice which I think is amazing. If I have ever had a problem with Amazon their helpful customer service fixes it right way. I have prime and I think that Amazon has been the best thing for me because they have just about everything and I order a lot from them and their customer service is the best.

Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
