My family and I utilize Amazon a lot and have never had a bad experience. Great selections on everything and ahipping is usually free and we usually get our items before the estimated time Amazon gives us.
He's a friend who had no interest in online shopping or ever using Amazon! Until hearing he could save some big bucks on an item he desperately wanted! So he ordered this prime item and was mad as h;-x when he was billed for a membership. After he calm down I explained that it was a free 30 day trial and he proceeded to joyfully take advantage of this free trial. Well, you never know what a great deal is until you try it... Can you guess who's a new prime member?
I can always trust Amazon to send what ever as it was promised or they will make thing right. I am always glad that I shopped Amazon.
Most amazon items are good and usually get fast shipping. But dare to rate a purchase less than 4 it will not be shown. How deceitful is that. I want to know what people have to say about the product. Not just all good things. Then I can make an educated guess. They used to offer free shipping, now they don't and the site is misleading because it tells you free shipping until you go check out and find out differently.
Face it
This is the elephant in the room.
Whatever Amazon does immediately becomes the market standard. They are particularly cruel to authors, eliminating their input on their own products and reaping whatever benefits may come
Hello guys, i purchased sports shoes but when i got the size is different so i'm trying to replace the shoes but i cant and they cant support properly. Its really bad.
I've been dealing with this company for countless years and never not even once can i recall having a problem! So now i just place my orders with my eye's closed because I'm 100 % sure that Amazon.com has my back thanks guy's for being there for me
The service provided by amazon was excellent from start to finish, kept me informed along the way where my delivery is and was.
One problem they can improve on there packaging.
Fast delivery, item just as described, thank you Amazon for another easy purchase! Will be ordering again soon :)
Honestly some things are still cheaper for me at amazon, but after shipping and the "add-on" items that you can only buy when you have a certain amount of product sold and shipped by amazon in my cart. Thats crazy because a lot of what they sell comes from other companies and sellers. Also I hate that a lot of what they sell is only for Amazon prime members. I will keep using eBay instead of dealing with all of this. Also I went to review the perfect sculpt bra.com and those views were honest and to help others not make same mistake I did, but amazon wouldn't post it, they said it didnt meet their guidelines. Thought that was crap.
When I need something, it seems I am always going to Amazon. They have about every thing I'm looking for. Except Homes and cars., It probably wont be long before they start selling those too.
Despite my searches thru other websites for any number of different items, it always seems that Amazon is priced better, shipping is free or cheaper & delivery times are quicker. When they make a mistake, I either get a quick refund without having to return merchandise or it's an easy return. I can't remember having a bad experience with them. I've been dealing with them for many years & usually when a company treats me poorly, I rarely deal with them again. I haven't encountered that with Amazon. They always seem to please.
My favorite online shop, passed ebay now and such a pleasure to buy quality items and reviews. The only issue is to be able to select what is shippable to your country (E. G Ireland)
I have been ordering from Amazon for years... however recently they have become very unprofessional. I ordered a gift card with my VIRTUAL visa gift card. They locked my account asking for verification from the "bank" of my info. I have wrote them 10+ times stating that since its a virtual e gift visa there ISN'T A BANK available to give that information! They are ignoring my emails and WILL NOT unlock my account. I also had a balance that I put on without a e gift with my REAL TIME CASH. I have requested for my balance to be issued via CHECK since they will not unlock it and they have ignored that. I am looking to seek a civil suit, because they are now stealing my money. They bought Whole Foods, and will run that into the ground eventually...
Most recently, due to the face that I was confused about the arrival time of 2 metal folding chairs, Amazon essentially took my dissatisfaction with a July 4th one day delay and rather than argue with me (I was definitely wrong once I looked at it in retrospect,) They refunded the sizable shipping fee of $13. (it was 2 large metal chairs, I just wanted them fast. The only other 2 times I've had to call customer service, they were perfect and not only fixed my problem, but somehow even increased my trust in them as they made it right,.
We love amazon. If we need something we look it up and get it. We are never disappointed. Product quality is great. Items come quickly and if there is an issue it's always taken care of.
With the exception that you can accept the following:
You want free shipping? Meet requirements when you checkout items. Whether it's 25 or 49 dollars. Also check that your items come with the possibility of free shipping, otherwise it will NOT count towards free shipping. (Irritating, I know)
Not all of your products will be delivered when scheduled. I know that may suck, but that is why Amazon allows you to contact sellers to ensure nothing happens to your products along the way.
Some products may never find their way to your home. Which is even more irritating, but the first thing you should do is go on Amazon to contact the seller or file a complaint to Amazon directly. Every time this has happened to me I got promised a full refund within a day or two with no questions asked. (Refunds take time to get to your account. Which implies it will take longer for Amazon to process your refund, it may take up to two weeks to process the full refund)
AND SOME PRODUCTS WILL BE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE BUT THATS WHY WE MUST READ REVIEWS VERY VERY CAREFULLY AND DEMAND (or ask politely) THAT THE SELLER TAKES THE SAID PRODUCT BACK.
Some sellers may be very good at making sure you get the product you wanted. Every once in a while I get a card from a seller I buy from, it's handwritten by her, she makes it clear that I can contact her with any questions or concerns about the product. Those types of sellers are the ones that deserve a review, or really any seller that makes sure your product is in ideal condition when it arrives.
Make sure you review! Especially if your experience exceeds or falls below your expectations, honestly a lot of customers look at stars and reviews before they buy a product, be sure to encourage/discourage them accordingly.
Last note:
If you decide to purchase a product, make sure it's not overpriced or too cheap.
Overpricing is an obvious issue which I probably don't have to explain
But some products that are underpriced are such terrible quality, and even the sellers might not be all the great either. (That's why you ought to look at reviews!)
I can't recommend this site enough for people who wish to shop online.
I have ordered from this website for over 10 years it has a large selection and great prices and high quality items The staff is awesome and i never had to return any item and i have received all my items i have ever ordered its very easy to order i highly recomand this website
Customer since 2002. Prices are good, no problem at all for return and refund. Customer service is amazing. They are asking between 12-24 hours delay to answer. Never had to wait more than 2 hours. Very good stuff, very good staff. I recommand it!
Buying for years. Everything available and with the Smile option, I can donate to my charity as well.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
