If you need it, Amazon (or one of their fulfillment partners) has it. Kindle Unlimited and Amazon Prime are awesome services. All hail our Amazonian overlord.
Despite any other flaws, Amazons Customer Service is second to none. It makes one feel safe in continuing to shop with an online merchant like this. Less than 1 out of 20 times have I had problems. But when that occurs, they step up to the plate and make it right. Reminded of how good they are this week with bad experience; HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT UNDER ARMOUR. Phones not answered 1 week!
Almost everything is on top-tier. Only thing that force me see forward and looking for new similar services - delivery problems. Not in time or too expensive, no golden middle
Not much to say... it works as we all know and has nearly everything of anything you might possibly need or want
They do a wonderful job of service! They have great contacts and working relationships with so many people. I love the reviews on the items.
Easy to use too!
I buy chess books like an addict in a chocolate shop, the cheapest way to buy them is the electronic version. Generally, I will get a free preview of the book, and for a few dollars, I can get the whole book. I win both ways, if its not for me, it was free anyway. I also get my audio sci-fi books from Amazon too. I have never had a problem with amazon.com and I am happy to recommend them to anyone.
It is rare that I can find a price cheaper than on amazon. Plus with Prime Membership I also have access to free (and purchase) movies, music, etc. Pretty cool one stop shop... and expanding...
Come on it's Amazon, you can't beat it. You must be very careful reading the descriptions and understand that you get what you pay for, but for online shopping with no hassle returns, Amazon sets the bar for all others.
I can see why Amazon is crushing the others. No hassle shopping, ordering, service, and/or returns. Quick and easy.
I have been a loyal Amazon customer for years but lately it seems to take them a week or more to even get items to the shipper. I am not a Prime customer and I believe that those are the ones they seem to care about the most. Anyway on my last order I also ordered the exact same thing from a competitor and who ever got the order to the shipper first, which was the competitor, I stayed with and canceled the Amazon order. I no longer waste my time with Amazon.
Ordered lots of products, sent back some and kept many. All issues were handled very professionally and quickly
Won't let me buy at amazon, and will not give me a reason, even though i have a amazon credit card. That i use elsewhere, they stink at returning any information, so i have no ideal what they have about me?
I'm what you'd call an Amazon who're if you will. I enrolled into Prime and I'm very much liking the fact that my items arrive quickly and safely. However, some items marked Prime don't come within 2 days as promised. When I called Amazon all they say is im sorry and we don't know why that item was marked prime. I'll continue to do business with them, but let's get our act together.
I have been quite happy with the product and the service from Amazon.com. Just double check pricing as it may not always be the best price available at their site.
TWO PART REVIEW;
1) Sellers of gently used goods, lend me your ears!
NO longer do you have to wait for an auction to end and pray that your item fetched at least the cost to ship it to its new owner. Amazon is just like being able to sell your items among the premium giants of the online retail businesses...! AT A NEARLY RETAIL PRICE! (That's right I s%&t you not my friends. I wouldn't lie to you, I personally swear by Amazon sellers market and have made close to ten thousand dollars selling used items that I referbished from various sources. Items that would have gone for at least 25%-50% less on ebay and even lower on Facebook or Craigslist.) Did the Facebook reference catch your atention, nearly everyone has Facebook and lover the local buys. But the price is garage sale level and let's face it the market is limited to a few thousand at most. Amazon is nationwide/global and Amazon allows you you view all other products that are the same as the one you are listing and price your according to your competitors prices. That means if anyone in the entire country is interested in a product that you happen to be selling you will have play in Amazon. Quick seller? I am! And I priced my listings from $1.00-$5.00 below the lowest priced item(which is barely 10%lower than at Walmart or kohl's and even Best Buy) insuring my product would sell to the first frugal consumer interested in the product.
2)Buyers of o line merchandise!
Amazon has a very strict customer satisfaction percentage requirement for its sellers I think it's like 98.99% positive review rate. Not like eBay in which u can commit to buy just by wanting to see it in your basket for aditional info and get a negative buyer point. Untill I buy it I haven't bought it! Don't tell me because I am looking around I have to buy somthing I don't want anymore or can't really afford.
Easy to find things, great pricing and delivery, (even from Asia and Europe, although that obviously takes a little longer).
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
